My point exactly... they seem to think that anything related to blood sugar level equals Diabetes...

I agree, it is a serious condition and can be dealt in a better way.
For eg. yesterday, when the doc broke the news to Sheetal that her son is diabetic, it was terrible. No doctor will break the news of a chronic condition in this way and that too, to a mother. This is called counselling. I was upset yesterday.

a really nice thought, priya.

hi, i am indi. this is a very special show as we all know. i do hope your idea can be made space for in the story. i know very little about diabetes though my mother had it. so does my brother. but we are all busy making light of it and calling it "sugar." my mom, though, used to always say diabetes is a bad one. complicates things. thanks for that suggestion.

i was quite surprised when the doc said yesterday that juvenile diabetes can be passed on from parents. i knew diabetes can be hereditary, but had no idea it can affect one at a very young age.

Diabetes can occur at any age, specially Type 1 DM or insulin dependent type. But from what was shown yesterday it was probably Type 2 DM early onset, since the doc prescribed oral medicines and not insulin.

Hey doc, u have mentioned in one of the comments, that as shown in IPKKND, Arnav taking sugar free is actually harmful for health. Could you just tell how?
