"Mujhe bahut dar lag raha hain Virat" - awww how i loved this line.. yet another angle to them as a husband and wife,
Virat, the man, doesn't need words to know about Maanvi's inner feelings and her thoughts..she is an open book to him, He stood at the door, saw her face, of course this is how he expected her to be, when in dire...
He comes and holds her arms, as if holding something precious, in a gentle yet strong grip..his grip was more of protective one,,.She leans into his strong arms, not for physical support, but for emotional as well...
Her line, "Mujhe bahut dar lag raha hain Virat" - has so much depth in those words.,. let me try to put them in words,,
A wife sharing her fears with her husband, what more can depict the essence of a wife and husband. Virat is her world.. if not with him.. whom would she share her fears with ..
We share or express our fears with only that person, whom we trust implicitly to ward off our fears ..Virat is THE PERSON, whom Maanvi trusts beyond anyone and anything ..she shared her fears, as a wife with her husband,
Any girl, how much ever strong she might be as an individual, will always breakdown before the MAN of her LIFE, and looks up to him, she wants him to support her in his strong arms, wants him to assure her with his soothing words, would love to seek the assurances from his eyes ,,,,
Any HUSBAND, would love to be a strong SUPPORT system to his WIFE,,, A little secret, a husband, loves it, he feels more responsible and more protective, when his wife tells him "Mujhe darr lag raha hain.." and comes into his arms.. the husband will feel over protective towards wife,, he sees the implicit trust for himself in her eyes..
when Maanvi said ""Mujhe bahut dar lag raha hain Virat" this gave a new dimension to their relation.. she has been a strong individual,, but when she saw Virat as the person to take care of her in dire, she breaks down before him.. allowing him to take the lead in the situation and herself surrendering to him, for the emotional support, beautiful unexplored essence of a husband and wife...touched in a more subtle way đ
He cups her left cheek,..he tells her "main bol raha hoon na.. kuch nahin hoga" this is all what she wants to hear again and again from him.. He is not sure how things are gonna unfold.. all he says is kuch nahin hoga .. these simple, repetitive, soothing words of assurance are what Maanvi wants to hear.. only then the restlessness of her heart has mellowed down..
Husband and wife relation is so very different in every sense..which cannot be seen from a third person's angle.. a girl may not believe any words of assurances from anyone of them.. friends,, family .. relatives. but one phrase or one word of assurance from her husband.. will give calm her restlessness .. ease her pain.. because her husband is the one person whom she trusts beyond anything and anyone ..
this is exactly what Maanvi did..she wanted Virat to be the one comforting her.. soothing her.. and assuring her.. Virat holding her in his arms.. making her lean on him.. his soothing words of assurance and a deep look into his eyes and her request to smile has calmed her immensely 'In all this,., never did she loosen the firm grip on his wrist ' her life line .. Her fears met his tranquility and calmed her restlessness and even in that situation he tries to bring a smile on her face.. he wants to see her smile as her tears inflict his heart
Overall, it was beautifully executed scene .. her DESPAIR, his ASSURANCES, her ANXIOUSNESS , his SOOTHING words, her FEARS, his TRANQUILITY, his MAND, her SMILE , all in a very subtle scene.. played out beautifully with no tears rolling down.. no heavy dialogues.. no lambe chaude vaade.. it is all simple and natural and realistic...which anyone can connect to ..
the other tiny yet poignant bit which i noticed is his HIs silent non-verbal assurance to her, in the car,. When Maanvi looks at him.. to find the answers from him for the N number of questions in her mind.. all he does is, looks at her and blinks his eyes to assure her everything will be alright, and asks her to trust him and smiles, asking her to not worry and smile - that was a mere 2-3 second blink-n-miss scene it was very subtle scene, very beautiful which caught my attention right away ..
one more small bit, when he said, "iske liye agar humein beeji ki daant bhi khaane pade toh sar aankhon pe.." her look depicted, her overwhelming feelings for him.. she was in Awe of him.. she was staring at him for the person he is.. just like she stared at him near the dining table for the sabjee.. ..post marriage... Maanvi is seeing Virat in a totally different light.. I would say she is falling in love with him all over again
these tiny bits not more than 2 minutes depicted the very essence of VirMan ..and I would repeat once again.. the shades and the angles which they are exploring in the newly wed relation of VirMan were never touched so precisely in any other couple on TV, at least for me..
gosh i need to stop it.. it's too long already ..
