Edit: Just saw the edited version of your post. You see it's hard sometimes to get the tone of voice on such forums. Peace 😊

But I still feel that he isn't the hero he is projecting out to be. It's good to stand by your morals and principles as long as you aren't washed over by ego and pride for the same stance. And I feel that's exactly what he did. A cut out from my previous post explaining my issue with him.

"And his body language when Sapna was giving that speech shouted ego and pride, arose from the same principles, which I didn't expect to see after his talk of morals and principles. I am morally disappointed with him today."

I mean who wouldn't not want to admire someone of their solid views. But when such views get blinded by superiority, they no longer held the same value unfortunately.

Anyways, simply my take on his idealism. Being ideal and then brag about it goes over my head.

Anyway, I wouldn't exactly term that as expressions of 'ego' or 'pride'. I'd rather call that excitement. Be sure, he ain't no saint in his actions as he might be when it comes to his thought process etc. Yeah he meditates in the mornings lol but that doesn't exactly mean he's a victim of catotonic stupor as such .. Hirjee got excited and also emotional when trying to put his point across. Siddhu would've obviously gotten excited when he saw Sapna backin him there. Why wouldn't he and why shouldn't he ? Having said that, I also didn't find anything way too aggressive or something that projected ego or pride in the way he reacted to Sapna's opinions on the whole issue.

About the bragging bit. If you did notice, as soon as BB had mentioned about Siddhu's rebellion against nominating anyone..he did say he didn't know it was going to be brought about in front of everyone that way. It was a good thing according to him to not nominate anyone & thus, his saying that " I didn't know you're gonna bring this up here , else I'd have never even mentioned about this to anyone " . So clearly, his intention was to not brag about his morals, ideals or principles etc until he was provoked to do so. Had BB not nominated everyone as a result, the contestants including Niketan and Rajiv would've praised him instead for not nominating. But since the tables got turned at him, he was left with no choice , but to talk about why he's against nominating. Again, I wouldn't exactly term that as " bragging " , I'd rather say , he was " justifying " his act.

Obviously the stuff we're dealing here with I.e morals , principles etc are pretty lofty terms and ideologies. There is no way a person can justify himself / herself with that , apart from sounding like they're actually bragging abt it. He stated the same in a subtle manner inside the confession room . But when the issue was brought outside & he was provoked time and again to give in , by BB and most of the contestants, he said it out more loud and clear. That's about it I guess.
