Abhinav's parents want us to get married: Shweta

Shweta Tiwari and Raja Chaudhary are finally divorced. Shweta, who was battling for divorcefor the last five years, confessed: "Though we were separated long back, we had to face each other in court. He was an unfortunate part of my life."

The actor is thankful to her lawyer Kalpana Ashar. Raja was insisting on meeting Palak twice a month for which she would have to appear in court every time. "I didn't want my 12-year-old daughter to go through the trauma of appearing in court. She is too young to understand all this and has already been through a lot. My lawyer gave Raja the option of choosing between the flat and his daughter. I thought he would choose Palak. But was shocked when he said, 'I sacrifice my daughter to get the flat'," said Shweta. "I am most happy that Raja can never meet Palak." The actor, who is currently dating Abhinav Kohli, wants to take time off before she takes the final plunge. "Abhinav's parents want us to get married by December. The best part is that Abhinav considers Palak as his own daughter. His brother is in the US, so we may plan our wedding during his next visit to India."
