Principles before personality and common welfare of all

One last reminder

We restrict our discussions only to the show the daily episodes the characters actors and IPKKND related issues and do not indulge in bashing other forum members in a negative manner or mocking jeering or taking potshots at them

We do not post links of other threads unless they are funny in a truly humorous way and definitely not those that are provocative or insidious or hateful

We certainly will not resort to discussing other forum members' period no matter how great the temptation (There is always the PM service for that)

We keep it clean full stop

We have the privilege of bashing and we do it in a decent ethical and classy style and lead the way

Having said that

We all love this thread we have all invested our time energy and efforts as you can see from the various members that have contributed with their incredible wit and talent and do so because we love our fun and discussion we have here and some of the members really make our day here we tend to use it as our stress buster and a place to laugh share and discuss all about IPKKND so please let us stick to that only the last thing we need is negative attention for all the wrong reasons which has already happened today which served as a clarion call to me that somewhere the purpose of this thread got lost and is no different from the others in mudslinging and frankly felt very uncomfortable

I will never take the moral higher ground and have also been equally guilty and will never point fingers at anyone but myself and will gladly admit am very much to blame but now feel strongly inside that somewhere the reason for the thread got adrift in settling of scores so I take full responsibility period Mea Culpa

If the principles of bashing cannot be followed then this will be my last thread as honestly I do not want to face the ignominy and the pain of a truly open and fun thread getting reported or closed for the very reasons that the original post and thread was made and what was accused of others

Thank you for your kind understanding and cooperation in this as it is for the mutual benefit of all

And please I hope no one will MU me for the next 6 months I love you all to bits and you know who you are I have met some of the brightest warmest and wittiest members here and so glad we interacted for I would never have known the persona behind the person

Please do feel free to share your own thoughts as this is very much our thread

I fully support you on this. This has to be a place to share our views of the show, the actors and the characters. This thread cannot CANNOT be a place to share our views on other threads and other forum members POV or lack there of.

People can ask me, who I am to make this statement, but I do not care. So I am going to say it.

I love and respect Swathi a lot. For her ideas, thoughts, idealogies and from what I know how she leads her life. So, for me, the most important person in this thread will be her and hence her Threads welfare. Having said that, please join us all, if you can sincerely stick to what Swathi is asking of all of us.

I know we all have equal amount of respect for each other. The term Bash, Basher and Bashing has been misused by everyone including MODS in my opinion. And hence it was a tongue in cheek name we gave ourselves at the begining. But, it was not meant to mean, that we will bash anything and everything.

In our world, in this thread,

Bashing = Constructive Criticism.

Bashin = Calling a spade by its name.

Bashing = Voicing our opinions is as polite way as possible

But all this has to be limited to characters, the story arcs, the technical aspects of the show, the acting and the actors and CVs etc. It does not include other forum groups or members.

There will be threads, which tempt us to open them and give a piece of our mind. Certainly everyone is entitled to do that. But that needs to be restricted to that thread and let us not bring those discussion in here. There will some people who will look for ways to stalk this thread and report and get it closed and that will only rile up the wrong emotions.

Just check pages 1 - 50 of Thread 5. We were all having fun, discussing, pulling each others legs, pulling Diva acts (including myself) and generally having fun. And then once other threads links started getting posted, and rightfully, people got agitated at the contents of those threads, and we started discussing that. But, can anyone honestly say, that was fun? Let us be the examples where people ultimately realize, we are not Basherz but our POV are sensible and logical. Let us by example show that, all though our thread is called Basherz, we do it in the most positive way possible that no one can lift a finger against us.

Miscreants will try their best to rile us. IGNORE them. Ignoring is the best cure for illogical posts.

Sorry for this lengthy speech. But, I am doing this because, I want Swathi, to keep opening these threads, where we can all get toghether and disucss the show amonst each other and have fun.

If people are upset at my tone, then please forgive me.

Please see my post which above as I wanted to add that as soon as Swathi opened the thread.

As for todays episode

wanted to watch todays episode and watched it online.

Abhaas was beyond electrifying today.

I am going to miss him, if these are his last episodes.

Anjali was expressionlees as usual. We all felt bad, looking at the faces of Kushi, Arnav, NK and Nani.

Sanaya voice modulation while reciting each line in the pseudo poetry given to her was mind boggling. I do not know if anyone caught it, but her voice gave the exact emotion behind each word. Any sympathy for Anjali I had today, was because Sanaya was the voice behind the narration. I wonder why she does not get her due credit ( I couldn't care less of forum members who diss her, I am talking about her peers, channels recognizing her and nominating her, which is a all to different discussion).

But Abhaas deserves a bow. I don't care who agrees with me or not.

Especially the line which he delivers to Nani and desribes of how Anjali fell down the stairs. His voice had such sinister and evil force behind it, I got goosebumps. I will watch that particular scene over and over again, because, with that one scene, in my opinion, he outshone everyone else today.

SUPERB Abhaas SUPERB. After the confrontation with ASR after the Terrace scene where you were again oh so electrifying in leaving ASR speechless, today you were equally brilliant. It shows to tell that, if given something to sink his teeth into, Abhaas can also be unparalleled.

2 Highlights for me today.

1. Abhaas Abhaas Abhaas.

2. Sanayas voice modulations during the narration

Both deserve 👏👏👏

Yes this is indeed a stress breaker for me not just from IPK but while on a stressful work day too. So 🤗 to you for starting these threads.

This allows me to put down all my views about the show wether be I liked something or I hated something in the episode. That's the best part. You've the freedom of speech. You just don't have to praise something or you just don't have to bash. You can write your POV without any fear.

That's why I like it here. And all the people posting comments here ... thank you for all those comments ... it really works as a stress buster for me for sure

Today, you have taken the mature initiative and while all us "Bashers" might have ended up hurting some real people over a reel world, I'm sure our intentions were just to get our point of views across.

We might enjoy having debates, but it's not because its a Cyber WWE we are looking for, mind you. We have targeted no one, just opposed their opinions, which some people perceive as being opposed themselves. Come on, we don't need cyber grudges when the real world has so much to choose from.

And as far as sarcasm goes, and here I'm speaking just for myself, I have my tongue in cheek cells as abundant as phangurls have their salivary glands and so perhaps I should have a "Sarcasm IQ 200+ Members Only Post" stamped from now on. So yes, no offence intended!

Having said that, now that our Gandhiji have opened the Dori [a million times faster than Harvard Boy, duh], I truly am sorry for any hurt caused from my side.

I have never personally taken offence in the cyber world because let's admit, it's not worth it. Not worth wasting a strong feeling such as hatred on people you perhaps wouldn't even cross paths with on another website, let alone the real world.

Congrats you Sons of Shyam on the SIXTH Thread. Che Threads. Now that's one lucky number 😉
