What a family he has

A delusional sister who clings to him and saps his strength.

Who is happy at his happiness only if she herself is happy or grudges his happiness.

Selfish parents who refused to live it out for their children

But preferred to die and leave them in the lurxh.

A caring Nani who nevertheless always brings up his father as an example

whenever he does something wrong

An extended family that lives off his money

But knows him little, doesn't dare to speak up to him or give him the love he wants

A Dadi who left him to rot and disappeared

And is now back to destroy his life knowing his only happiness is Khushi...

Among all this his ray of light

His comfort, his love,

The balm for his lonely soul

His confidant

His friend

His love

...is Khushi

Tomorrow my sympathy will completely move to Khushi

But today I can't help but feel sad for this man...

who is a surrounded by so called family

But is as lonely as a barren tree in a desert...

Today for ASR's sake I wanted the marriage to go through...

Though tomorrow I may feel mad at him...

Today my thoughts are with this lonely character

i agree with you completely.

you can also add to the list:

- a jeeja ji who tried to kill him, rob him of his money and his wife and

- a chacha who threw him and his sister out on the streets

never was it clearer how his so called 'family' has only brought out the worse in him as it was during the gupta house track (he only yells in RM and is angry at everyone but was calm/smiling/at peace in GH)

i felt sorry for him today as well ...especially when he looked at dadi and really really expected her to join him in the car...

the shock on his face when he realized that what her dadi did 2 days ago was meaningless and fake...

the fear on his face when he refused to hear any truth that will take him away from khushi...

in fact these family members haven't just destroyed his present, but threaten his every chance at a happy future - because it is due to their collective bullshit that he has endured over the years that he is the person that he is. and it is because of his character traits and nature that he continually harms the only person who truly loves him unconditionally, selflessly - his khushi.

i feel sorry for both ASR and khushi today - one seems destined for unhappiness, and one has made her destiny in the man who never seems likely to be at peace.

Yes my heart cried for this character today..!!

He so desperately wanted to be with her..

He so desperately wanted to marry her..

As they say, Money can't buy Happiness..

He is a rich man, yet lonely...

Khushi changed him from ASR to ARNAV

Khushi taught him how to love

Khushi taught him how to Smile

Khushi taught him how to Live

Khushi taught him how to enjoy

Khushi taught him how to care

Khushi made him live his life after 14 years..He was ASR from past 14 years.

Khushi changed him...

Made him ARNAV - A perfect Lover Boy

I am sure he will remember everything tomorrow...

Their unconditional and pure love will definitely conquer everything.

and i completely agree with you..

didn't you see his happiness at the thought of his marriage?

the way he was restlessly asking dadi to move because he doesn't want to be late..

it was such a pity to watch! ...when all his happiness just disappeared due to an evil woman who suddenly decided to re-surface just because her "damaad ji" filled her ears...

i had tears when the truth was revealed...his expressions! 😭

i know tomorrow may be my post will contain curses for ASR..

but then nobody can deny that even he has suffered a lot since childhood!

i am keeping my fingers crossed!...i just hope the everything turns out to be good

Yes u are right Rima.

My throat is still clogged up with all emotions that you described.

He is such a lonely man. In his barren life there is one & only Khushi - and his so called family wants to tear him away from 🤢

That is so heart wrenching. 😕 The poignant scene for me was the tele-convo & his smile of pleasure when he was taking his gift for her to the wedding.

I still have immense trust in him that he will take the right decision. That being instead of wallowing in self pity for the past he will move ahead to his sunshine, to his Khushi, to his soul-mate.

One last point I have to point out the direction has been outstanding. LM is rocking & his partnership with Arshad definately rocks.👏

and dadi has to come and ruin it all

i always said that raizadas are the most dysfunctional family anyone could ever come across

no one really understands the other member's feelings

that's why asr is so much in love with khushi where he got someone to share

someone that cares for him without expecting anything in return

someone that didn't judge him

someone not interested in his money

finally when he is getting his chance at happiness,dadi has to shatter all his happiness

his dreams were broken even before he saw it

poor asr

i sympathise with him but may be it will last only today

tomorrow i would e blasting him if he ditches her at the altar

Awesome post Rima. After very long time Im on first page of your thread.😆
Today's episode made me emotional and your post is making matter worst for me. I felt sorry for both Arnav and Khushi today. What did they do to get all the pain and sufferings? They have always placed their family's happiness above them. But still they have to face all this because of their family? More than Khushi Arnav is unlucky in getting family's love. For Khushi, babuji,garima,buaji and payal all loved her with heart. But for Arnav, the love he got from his family is restricted or under some conditions like that of Anjali who wants him to be happy only when she is with Shyamji, stupid moron😡 She never loved him but lives off his money with her b*******d husband.
After going through a lot in his life, he finally got the reason to smile, laugh, live, love, to be happy, to share his pain, sorrow, happiness because of Khushi. She taught him what life is. She taught him to think from heart too which is not ASR , she taught him to makes others happy. When he learnt everything, his family is hell bent in snatching away his only happiness that is in Khushi not sparing a thought what pain it will cause him. How heart broken he will be. He never got true love from anyone except from Khushi and hence he always feel insecure about it and always asks for her promise that she wont leave him as everyone whom he loves will leave him.
