Another scenario where the lock feature is useful is if a company believes one of its employees is carry objectionable material and wants to preserve the data for analysis.

Was just going thru googel to check if its possible come across this site dabh will never show us which is impossible :))

Yeah, data lock is possible and it makes the pen-drive read only, How can you block a pen-drive when you are unaware that it's data may be compromised. As you say, RK might have used such software and I do have full faith in CVs for further explanation later on 😳
