I accept Shamali as leads, just don't ruin Arhi.

I am writing this with a heavy heart. I have been thinking about this for quite a long time and now I have finally given up and I accept Anjali as the female lead and Shyam as the male lead of the show. For the first time, I am seeing a show where the male lead is a villain and female lead is giving him competition in that area.

You have left me no choice and it's pretty clear that if we don't accept the new leads, you will make us suffer the consequences by further ruining Arnav and Khushi's already ruined character sketches. So I give up.

You give us 15 minutes of Shamali and 5 minutes of Arhi. Even when they come on screen, all they do is talk or worry about Di. I will watch those 15 minutes in return for the 5 minutes of Arhi. But during those 5 minutes, keep their character sketches intact.

Arnav doesn't do anything Khushi and Khushi doesn't do anything for Arnav. Whatever they do they do it for di. Di happy toh, toh sab happy.

You defend Anjali's characterization and why we should sympathize with her. But you never defended Arnav or Khushi in the past even when they were bashed and criticized. Which proves how important Anjali is to the show.

You tweet an article on Anjali to make us feel Anjali's pain and but you never tweeted any article when fans misunderstood or simply failed to understand any action of Arnav or Khushi.

Every interview Daljeet gives, she talks about how and why we should feel for Anjali. I guess we failed to grasp that Anjali is the one who's suffering the most and Arnav or Khushi doesn't suffer at all. It's funny how Barun or Sanaya never explained their characters.

Earlier we used to get Arhi segments and now we get exclusive Shyam-Anjali segments.

We are supposed to cry for Anjali. Fine, I will put glycerin in my eyes and cry for Anjali from now on.

Anjali continues to wear new outfits everyday and Arhi are stuck with their old, recycled or colorful clothes.

Except for an official declaration, you have made it clear in every single way who the actual leads are. We are not stupid enough to not get the hints or symbolisms.

But please don't ruin Arhi. Don't mess with their character sketches. I promise I will never demand anything else, not even better outfits ( they still look good in worn out or recycled clothes)...just don't ruin Arhi. I am begging you, please.

PS : This is totally unrelated to the episode because I haven't even seen it yet. No so comments on tonight's epi.

EDIT: Looks like some of you didn't get the point. We have been trying so hard to get our point across to the cvs, but none of it is working. And honestly, I don't think it will work because they are probably on a mission to mess with Arhi and shove Anjali down our throat. sigh.

Even if they give 15 minutes of Shamali crap and 5 minutes of Arhi, those 5 minutes is what will matter to me. So this is just me, venting my frustration.
