Welcome to Director's Cut...

Hey All,

I am back after my short break... and bringing to you all yet another edition of the Director's Cut...

When I left town... Arnav and Khushi were romancing and flirting with each other, wedding preparations full on... Roka was done, and Mehendi was about to begin... Anjali was happy for her brother !

Now, when I came back... I found Anjali crying yet again, Shyam back in RM and another MU simpering between Arnav and Khushi and no sign of marriage?

They say a pic says a thousand words... so here's one for you all, this is how I feel after 2 weeks of vacations...

Iss Confusion ko Kya Naam Doon?

For those of you, who have read me regularly... know my fondness for Anjali Jha's character ! She has been one of the most difficult, yet intriguing character to decipher. Even when DC decided to do a 1st person point of view.. I took upon the difficult job of justifying Anjali's Character from her point of view and tried my best to put myself in her shoes... ahh well, one shoe and one sandal (I even ignored the fact that if she could REMOVE the shoe brace and walk through the whole house without it... what was the need of it in the first place) ... and tried to see things from her point of view !

Yes, I knew she was selfish and manipulative... but I always sympathized with her situation and tried to justify her as a wife and as a sister ! But, for the first time... I could not feel any sympathy for Anjali, the mother, who just a couple of days ago lost her unborn child... her first child... yet, she hasn't even once thought of something more than her beloved Shyam Ji?

A woman losing her child is no laughing matter, it's trauma for any woman, specially if it's a first child ! Yet, Anjali felt only one day of remorse for the loss of her child and for the rest of the days, all she wanted was to be with her husband !!! This, as a woman, is a little difficult for me to digest !

Yes, I get it that she has been pampered beyond limits and everyone in the Raizada family has always been over protective towards her... so much so that she lost her sense of right and wrong over the period. I can understand that... but for a grown woman to even think of, let alone openly accuse the family - a family that has always kept her needs above theirs ; a family that has sacrificed time and again so that she can be happy - that family as "showing off" their love for her... is a little too much to handle even for an optimist like me !!!

The woman is supposed to be sick, coping with the loss of her child... not only mentally but physically too... yet Anjali Jha had the time to put so much mascara and a dark shade of lipstick... so that when her Shyam Ji visits, she should look prim and proper ! Whatever happened to subtleness in makeup ??

While cribbing about the episode during our chat sessions, Megha (meghavn) said something about Khushi's dresses that made me think ! Thanks Megha... for pointing out the following:

There used to be a time when IPK was unpredictable... I mean, leave the episode on a cliffhanger, and then the guessing game used to begin ! If there were a 100 predictions from the viewers, the CVs used to come up with a 101st googly and pleasantly surprise the viewers ! But now a days, we can predict the episode just by looking at the female lead's dress... Didn't get it? Here, let me explain...

If Khushi is wearing a Pink Dress... it means separation from Arnav !

If She is wearing a Blue Suit... She is about to commit suicide... physically or Mentally (by thinking of bringing back Shyam)

If there is a Purple Dress... the one she was wearing today (and as per the precap will be wearing tomorrow as well) we should expect a big argument between Arnav and Khushi... just the way he blamed her for all the wrong doings in Anjali's life the day she tried to abort her child... yep, you guessed it right... Khushi was wearing the same dress !

Red brings in incomplete affairs for Khushi... incomplete Diwali kiss, incomplete hut con, incomplete Suhaag Raat... Orange brings in faraq padta hai for Arnav !

If Green brings in passion (Teri Meri song or the missed kisses), then White brings in subtle romance... Go have a look at old episodes... if you don't believe me !

That's it for me for today guys... I apologize if my come back post sounds like a rant to you all... but IPK set the standards real high for me... and it actually hurts me, as a dedicated viewer of the show, to see the PH making blunder after blunder !

As Scarlet O' Hara famously said... After all, tomorrow is another Day !

So here's hoping for a better tomorrow !

yea right .. sure dude .. dream on .. i mean it is as far fetched a thot as Akash coming to get you .. come on guy .. thank ur stars for the small mercy ... small wonder .. small chance ... KHUSHI ...

Finally Anjali delivered on her promise .. she finally went on a NO food diet .. no water diet .. no medicine diet .. great ... atleast she lived upto her promise ..

Ques 1: she is on drip .. can meds not be fed to her from there .. neways post a gynae operation the first day solids are not administered .. u r given sustenance through drip ... which she is on .. SO .. Dear Mr. Maker .. how can not eating be a problem .. in one day after she lost her child ???

Anjali .. a mother no more .. who lost her child .. 8 days back

(serial time) .. & in these 8 days .. she has mourned for her child twice .. once in hospital .. once in RM .. & since then she has been constantly asking for her husband .. or sneakily meeting her husband ..

Ques 2: Anjali a mother who has lost her kid .. ( 7 months still born child) & u have as yet shown her remember her baby only twice .. now Dear Mr. maker .. how do you expect your audience to connect with her .. how do u expect ur audience to NOT "bash" the woman .. who has no VISIBLE emotional upheaval of loosing her child??

Khushi .. i seriously get it .. why she has to be the one to bring Shyam home .. its part of the future of the track .. i understand the importance of this .. so she feels for Anjali .. a woman who needs sustenance .. & is not taking it . being compounded by the nurse adding in her 2 bit .. so i get it she goes to bring Shyam ..

Ques 3: Now my ques to you mr. maker here is .. when u show Khushi in her monologue .. do u not want to show her actually reminising .. on how Shyam tried to kill the MAN she loves .. HER SUHAAG .. how heinous Shyam is NO ONE but KHUSHI knows .. so what kind of a monologue was ur audience expecting .. shudnt it have been her torn between doing the right by Di .. & her thinking for a minute .. what it cud mean to Arnav .. the MAN Shyam tried to kill the Man who is her HUSBAND ..

How do u expect ur audience to digest this .. when treatment is so wrong ???

NOW Mr. Maker .. lets c . what in this one week was need of the hour ..

1. We your audience would've appreciated .. a completely broken Anjali .. not an Anjali .. who at the drop of her hat comes onto her husband .. an Anjali .. who would've struggled with her loss .. wud've wanted to STOP EATING .. FOR THE LOSS OF HER KID .. an anjali ... who is devoid of emotions IN SHOCK .. not at all talking...except to mumble her husband name ... . & to break this SHOCK .. THE DOCTOR SAYS SHE WUD NEED HER HUSBAND .. & a family broken .. not knowing how to proceed ...

This justifies Shyam coming into RM as well .. & also .. paves way for a logical post still delivery trauma .. It also justifies .. Anjali ... & ur audience who is struggling with connecting with her .. cud find it in their heart to be a bit lenient with her ..

BUT above all this would NOT TRIVIALISE .. such a BIG social & medical problem .. as that of A BABY born STILL ..

NOW i am not a script writer nor have aspirations of being the same .. if i cud point one such scenario u cud use . i am sure ur very capable script writing team .. cud've come up with 100 such scenarios .. where Anjali wud be justified in her behaviour ...

2. KHUSHI .. oh we so get why she has to be the one to get Shyam back .. now .. today .. when Shyam was brought back .. what was the reason for it ?? why did Khushi bring back the man who attempted to murder her HUSBAND .. her SUHAAG .. just because Anjali skipped a meal ??? was there enuf drama & justification shown to us the viewer to merit such a BIG MOMENT ..

Now lets look at the ouster of Shyam .. the same scene had 3 days dedicated to it .. & reentry through the same front door .. was all of 3 minutes ..

WHERE was the struggle for KHUSHI .. she looked like she was stepping out to bring a cadbury chocolate for Anjali .. that was the sum total of her dilemma . what shud i bring .. Dairy milk or fruit & nut ?? .. did we get to see a torn KHUSHI .. did v get to see a Khushi .. who went against herself .. to do the BIG THING .. of bringing back the MAN WHO HAS MOST HURT HER ..

Now we all as audiences know .. the biggest impact of Shyam coming back to RM will be on KHUSHI .. so was this at all dramatised .. for us viewer .. ?? So how do you expect ur audience to be with u through thick or thin .. when u dont respect their intellect ???

Now lets go to the other BIG one tonite .. ARNAV SEEING SHYAM IN RM . that too ENTRY THRU THE MAIN DOOR ..

Lets visit this scene .. Arnav is told by nani & mami . that .. anjali is in real poor health .. OK got that they were also trying to get in touch with Arnav & Akash .. ok get that ..Nani thot .. that this was it for ANJALI .. she was so frail that they wud loose her . ok get that ...

Now lets pause here .. was a doctor even called .. the last we checked .. Arnav was the head of a fashion house ..he doesnt know how to save lives . so cudnt the esteemed family members call for a doctor .. wud that add to the credence & seriousness of this claim .. coz in this manner .. i as a viewer thot this was more manipulation of Arnav .. not real concern ..

Then for the BIG MOMENT .. Shyam walks in .. there is the typical ekta kapoor treatment .. bang bang .. close shots of all present on set .. then predictably .. Arnav holds Shyam by the collar .. & threatens him .. & shyam is speaking in a very calm dulcet tone .. so .. pray do tell me .. how did Anjali .. come to know on the first floor .. or the other family members come to know on the first floor that .. shyam was down .. was it so windy on the sets that the dulcet tones carried .. to the first floor .. heres my reaction to this .. WHAT THE F***

Could we have seen an enraged Arnav .. dragging Shyam who was digging his heels in .. & the other 3 passer bys .. Nani , Mami & Akash .. adding to the pleas .. NOW cud a doctor here now not make sense ..who would say . great this is what was needed .. if this is shyam he is the anti dote needed TO BRING ANJI BACK TO GUD HEALTH .. ok chalo too much drama ..

Ok .. now lets c .. shyam enters .. there are a couple of close ups of the people on set . then arnav goes up to him .. exchanges pleasntaries .. which he replies to . SO WHERE IS KHUSHI ALL THIS TIME .. was she by any chance paying the auto guy & ran out of change ?? that she came in SO LATE ???

Common .. drama .. for the sake of drama .. please .. the audience .. is not that naive .. u can dish some parts sense to us as well ..

NOW FOR THE NEXT BIG MOMENT .. Arnav realises .. KHUSHI has done this .. she has brought SHyam home .. now my friends .. i am not even going to give that much respect to the maker here that i will write here on the mistakes in this one .. so please pause & play this ur self .. BELIEVE U ME .. U WILL WANT TO GET UP & COMMIT HARAKIRI URSLEF .. ON THE MAKER ..

please do pause on both the leads expressions ... i for one cudnt understand it .. was it anger on Arnav's face .. disbelief .. shock .. a look of et u 2 brutus .. ( please do tell me if u caught even one of these)

Now Khushi .. did she have an expression of .. i am worried for Di .. i am dam scared of how arnanji will react .. i am disgusted that i have to even stand in the same place as creepwa .. was there a look on her face . try to understand that i did this for Di .. ??

again if u managed to catch any one of these expressions .. do let me know promise to rewatch with an open mind) ..

NOW FOR THE COUP DE GRACE ..

anjali comes .. rolling down . note she removed the drip as well .. she also repaired her lipstick to a darker shade .. ( ok that was uncalled for ) .. then she comes down .. & sees her Shyam ji .. & promptly HUGS HIM .. wow .. "madhur milan " happened .. how much have u trivialised the death of a child .. mr . maker .. please see this scene urself ..

she is happy her husband is HOME .. wow .. how sweet .. now tell me Madam MOTHER .. cudnt believe she had KHUSHI KE AANSOON in her eyes .. instead of breaking down .. for her baby in her husbands arms .. crying for their child .. mourning their loss .. she is so happy to see her lover back in her arms .. she wants to go for some private time to their room ..

Then she turns around & tells Arnav thank u for bringing my husband home to me .. he is my life .. awww .. what a moment .. now did any one here catch helpless ness in the brothers eyes .. did anyone catch him clench his fist to stop the HUG between his sister & his kidnapper .. did ne one catch .. a look of extreme disgust in arnav's face . when he saw Shyam .. speaking to Anjali .. in those i love u tones .. wasnt there a need for this .. isnt Arnav the only one to whom SHyam has confessed his true feelings for Rani Sahiba too ?????

such glaring errors in one of the most important episodes of the track .. the episode which laid the foundation for the future .. the start of the REAL DESTRUCTION .. the start of the BATTLE ..

Now my question to you the VIEWER .. DID ANYONE OF U FEEL THIS WAS HOW IMPORTANT THIS EPISODE WAS ?????

This is the first time i have ranted on DC about the episode .. but this really was the straw which broke this camels back .. SUCH AN IMPORTANT EPISODE .. BUT TREATMENT .. & SCRIPTING ALL WRONG .. the no of people who got the magnitude of this episode must be in negatives .. hence .. i came out of the closet literally on this one ...

have written my post .. in black .. u normally do that . when u mourn something .. tonite i mourned the death of creativity .. this episode .. was a death in creativity .. for IPK .. i am hoping . tomorrow will be a new day .. the precap . was the only promise i cud see in this episode ..

if this episode was return of the prodigal ..

tomorrows episode hopefully will be . Return of the MAN .. yes .. asr .finally hopefully wil DON the mantle of the MAN of ACTION ..

Today we saw the re entry of Shyam Manohar Jha into RM...it means that now that AnjAam lukka chuppi is over, we can full on enjoy the nok-jhok of Arnav & Khushi...20-20 today brings for you, some points to ponder...

1. Dadi today didn't flinch when Khushi wished her...forgot???

2. She let Khushi make food for Anjali...not in the mood to cook today???

3. Does all her acts against Khushi done when Arnav is around...not appreciative audience otherwise???

4. Whats up with mami ji?? She's back to phati saari & khoon bhari tang Gupta sisters...at least nani ji reacted on time...wonder why this does not happen with dadi...???

4. Dadi left for mandir & nani didn't know about it & mamiji knew...dadi told mami instead of nani, where she was going, really...???

5. Garima & dadi's hide & seek continues...for yet another day...oh well, we can bear these two...

6. & the Cupidity continues...

what kind of nurse is this...she's letting her patient suffer all in the name of unrequited love???

what's the drip for...show???

why is she not injecting medicines in the drip???

where's her professionalism???

why hasn't the doctor been called as yet, waiting for Dr.Love???

why were the family not informed, of pait dard & fever???

did those open windows let in mosquitoes that caused the fever???

7. Di didn't want khichdi...Payal, she likes special home deliveries...please consult the nurse for more information...also no table manners...where's the plate...koi directly dish se khata hai kya???

8. Nani made soup & garlic bread...nani ji please, whats with all this modernity...she wants roti sabzi cooked with love by someone special...you guys don't love Di anymore...all dikhawa...

9. Mamiji wanted to feed Anjali...Payal offered fruits...she doesn't want anything...just her Shyamji...didn't you hear her...God, please all of you get your ears checked...

10. Bhuaji wanted to feed her ladoos...but, dadi ki asli poti, showed her true colors....poor nani had to apologize...but bhuaji's understanding...wonder why???

Bhuaji & Garima make their escape...smart people...the rest are stuck here...

11. Dadi has also joined the gang...but Di's health is not permitting her to listen well...where is the doctor?????

12. Anjali drama starts at 9:30...Shyamz busy boasting at 11:30... 2hrs...seriously...still no doctor...what are you waiting for people...???

13. Arnav & Aakash's phone were busy...ummm...really..??? Who were they talking to...AMAN...???

14. Anjali's not well...where's the doctor...??? Is his phone busy too...or does he respond to telepathy..???

15. Where's the nurse...gone to bring the doctor...on foot??? Or fleeing the crime scene???

16. Khushi finds Di key dil ka doctor....how??? It took Khushi 11/30/45 days to find her own kidnapped hubby...did Shyam ji leave behind breadcrumbs...???

Shyam's wearing kurta pajama when Khushi comes to get him...he enters RM wearing pant shirt...wasn't entering RM asap important to Shyam, that he wasted time changing clothes...

17. Arnav & family are surprised to see Shyam walking in casually in RM...where's Khushi btw...bringing in luggage???

18. Khushi you got back Shyam...how did you expected your hubby to react...like his Di...????

19. Death bound Anjali revives the moment she hears her Shyamji's voice...instant recovery...no doctor, no nurse, no food, no medicine required...dekha...???

20. Nani & mamiji exclaim...chamatkar on seeing an alive & walking Anjali...the real miraclewa is that your audience hasn't walked as yet!!!!!

People, today in IPKLand a master stroke of genius was executed. By one single person. In one stroke of a pen... sorry, one ring of the doorbell all sanity was thrown out the window and insanity was let in.

But first, some very good news. The Snakewa also known as Shyam Manohar Jha has finally entered Raizada Mansion, aided and abetted by no less that Ms Khushi Kumari Gupta Singh Raizada (wait a minute, is she or is she not Singh Raizada any more? There was that contract marriage thing - which is illegal anyways. And she still wears the ummm... mangalsutra and sindoor. So is she still married? Thank you, Beens, for confirming that. According to sources, she is still married to ASR but she is now engaged to him.) Coming back to our story... Khushi decided to let Shyam in. Now how she knew where he was staying is a still a mystery, but that will be revealed later on.. keep reading.

In some very sad news. Ms Anjali Jha had decided to go on a hunger strike. She was feeling feverish, complained of pains in her stomach, and was totally against drinking even a drop of water. Now as you all know, like all good Indian wives, this is the fasting they do on Teej for their husbands. But perhaps in her befuddled state, she forgot this was not Teej. So why was she fasting? When we spoke to her, she was looking much better and definitely happier. Take it away, DC.

DC: Ms. Jha - you're looking very beautiful today.

AJ: Thank you, DC. Yes, I know. I am glowing, aren't I?

DC: That new shade of lipstick, really suits you! (Thanks, Redwine, for the research!)

AJ: I know. Shyamji hadn't seen it on me before, so I had to make sure I had it on when I went down to see him.

DC: Ms Jha - just seconds ago you were fainting! And now you're all bubbly and happy! As Naniji said, 'Its a miracle!'

AJ: (Blushing) Well, when I heard his voice I just knew I had to go downstairs. I mean its been hours since I've seen him.

DC: So you're brother Arnav, he didn't want your hubby/hunny here?

AJ: No. Arnav can go F** himself. He does whatever I tell him to. He's such a baby, anyway. And my happiness is important to him.

DC: So you're saying you don't mind bringing a man into the house who almost killed your baby brother?

AJ: Oh No! Why would Shyamji kill my brother? You're just kidding, right? My Shyamji is the best husband in the world.

DC: Do you think that you're family do not care for you?

AJ: Of course, they do. See whenever I have a fainting spell, they all gather around me. (Giggle) They don't know I do it on purpose, I just need to have everybody focused on me!

DC: Oh! (Stunned, out of words.. etc. etc. etc.)

Welcome back, viewers. Ladies, in today's world, what does your husband's happiness depend on? You? His success? Your love story? His family?

If you answered YES to any of these questions you are wrong!

You see, your husband's happiness depends on his sister. Especially when he has an unnatural attachment to this same sister. If she is unhappy, he is unhappy. So to make him happy, you must make her happy. And if that means bringing in a certified murderer, conman, psychotic individual into your house, the same individual that tried to kill your own husband, then it must be done. No sacrifice is too great for an emotionally abusive sister. Because when she abuses him, he abuses you. And you know he does that out of love for you. He will put aside everything, just to make sure you understand how important it is for you to keep his sister happy. So do it, ladies.

Anjali Jha. Lady, you just lost a baby remember? Remember? There was a Godh Bharai? Everyone was so happy? Remember? (Forget it... she has selective amnesia)

Finally in some sad breaking news, nation, we have a missing person report for one Mr.Arnav Singh Raizada. It seems in the days following his sister's miscarriage (perhaps a day or two ago) Mr Raizada decided he no longer wanted to use his mental faculties. He went into a slump and was last seen looking sadly at his brother-in-law who walked into his house and claimed it as his own. Since then Mr.Raizada has gone missing. We are hopeful that by the next episode he will be back, along with the delectable Ms.Khushi Kumari Gupta Singh Raizada... or the next... or the next.. or the next...until the search is called off. Meantime, if you see him somewhere, please call us here at Director's Cut.

My today's post won't be long but will be divided into two parts- one is my write up on the Monday's episode and another on garima's character that which I missed out writing on fridaydue to my ill health..

Today's episode is probably one of those few episodes in IPK ,I felt like letting my frustrations out after viewing it..I started feeling whether it was the same IPK I signed up for..so let me let out some of the steam that is circling in my system due to some poor scripting,shoddy plot ,direction and the aimless rambling pathway that IPK has been visiting off late..

This episode was supposed to be the Maha twist that the PH was supposed to give the viewers..what was that ?khushi bringing Shyam in to RM due to the emotional badgering and the ill health of anjali..the two main emotions that we were supposed to feel was

sympathy for anjali for her being a puppet at the hand of Shyam owing to her loss
Empathy with khushi for the predicament she was in..for her it was di's health vs arnav's edicts and her own experiences...how of us failed to feel any of the above said emotion for the characters in the show?.I guess most of us .Why?let me try reasoning...

The success of a show depends on three factors in the show

How entertaining the show is (that is to evoke interest)
How the audience connect with the show (that is to identify with the characters on the show) ,
sustaining the above two.( this is the audiences see it as).

The production house and the entire team succeeded in the first two endeavours to such an extent that the show turned in to a rage...with adulation came the the final frontier of trying to sustain this success..with the adoration there was minute scrutiny of every aspect of the show..

I appreciate the PH for withstanding so much pressure and understanding the love of the audience...

what has happened suddenly now is the puzzling question?
Why is there a downslide in quality?
what did we see yesterday..

A woman who has just lost a child ...a woman who needs all the support and sympathy of people around her..a character who the audiences should shed tears along with ...didn't bring in any of the above sentiments.?

she came across as manipulative, a villainess ,selfish to the core..is this fault of the character?no..whenever at DC and redux ,I used tell ppl I never liked anjali..winey and ritzy tried explaining things from her POV ..so I gave the character a benefit of doubt..but today I wouldn't even listen to any of them ..all due to the treatment that character has been given to..Nothing more to write here on anjali

Coming to khushi,we all know that khushi thinks before she acts and is even affected emotionally by the sorrow of ppl close to her..I can understand the stand the writers are taking..but wouldn't it have been better if the character was given monologues to justify herself..or wouldn't it have better if there was a dialogue with DM saying she did it all for arnav..the audience would have connected if khushi said that though arnav would never been happy with this decision yet she is taking the decision as his wife..or wouldn't it have been better if khushi would have asked the nurse to inject medicine and sustain anjali intravenously till the time she spoke to nani or arnav..none of the logistics worked..none of the stances explained and how will the audience respond to your plot is the question I want to pose to the entire team of IPK...so the beautiful sunshine girl khushi has been misunderstood by the audience once more for her role in bringing back Shyam..

After ranting so much I still want to hold on to my hope..let this freedom of expression not be a detriment to the atmosphere of positivity at DC..so I am still one of those loyal fan waiting for hope and bated breath for a change in tide..I am not those who would desert the ship at times of trouble..waiting for sunny days at IPK ..

two daughters payal and khushi...The husband who accepted me inspite of a past i have been hiding, a secret i have been holding ..daughters not of my womb but of my heart,payal the softer one and khushi the naughtier one often times gets in to trouble because of this.we lived a happy life in our small house in lucknow with a sweet store making our lives saccharine ..what could have been more sweeter than our payal 's wedding getting fixed..what could be more fulfilling for a mother than to see her daughter get married..but fates didn't allow this joyous moment to be fulfilled in my life..my daughter's marriage got stalled and i blamed this misfortune on khushi as she disappeared the day of marriage with our store papers which we were to give our payal in dowry..but shashiji as serene and collected as usual explained to me as to why he felt that khushi's actions were right even though the path she chose was wrong.i was heartbroken that one child of mine had a broken marriage stigma attached to her name..but before i could even conquer the sinking feeling that this blot had caused ,another lighting struck us all..far more deadlier and far more tarnishing had coloured our lives in bleak colours..that is the footage of khushi in ASr's arms had been telecast..another blemish to our cup of woes which forced us to send both our children to Delhi to escape this ...Alas the thing i feared the most and striven to stay clear of had taken a permanent residence in our home-Stigma..

with heavy heart i sent both my daughters to delhi along with madhumathi jiji ..my khushi started earning while in delhi and in lucknow we hid the truth of our deaths along with shashiji's ill health from our daughters..but our deteriorating condition was out in the open for our daughters to see and we shifted to Delhi for good...we went on to rely on our khushi more and more for our daily needs..khushi ,our fearless warrior hid all her travails at work place to provide for us..The workplace where she had to meet her tormentor ASR everyday though their family were very sweet to her...delhi and Madhumati jiji's place also became a place of joy for me,this is where we met met shyam..who jiji and myself decided would be suitable groom for khushi..shyam,a sweet and ever helpful chap was a paying guest at jiji's place ..he evinced an interest in khushi and jiji was mounting pressure on us to accept the proposal..Shashiji was sceptical and not convinced about his suitability..but i concurred with jiji's judgement about shyam..ill fate again entered our lives in the of shashiji's stroke which left him paralysed and robbing him of his ability to speak..this is when we thought of conducting shyam and khushi's engagement..and conduct we did only to find out the duplicity of shyam..shyam who was son to my family was cheating us all along..he was married to anjali .Arnavji's sister..but we couldn't breathe a word to anjali because payal's alliance was fixed with anjali's cousin brother Akash..khushi and payal insisted on the truth being brought out in the open..I tried suppressing it..these children really don't know how difficult it is for a girl's ristha to get fixed again..a girl that too the one whose baraat had returned back on the day of marriage..children will never understand about stigma but we elders do ,don't we?who understands this better than me?

Khushi returned from Raizada house concurring with my stance of hiding the truth as it would hurt anjali..we let bygones be so and tried to put our lives back on rails after throwing shyam out of our house..and payalia's wedding took place with great pomp and splendour..i was happy that payal has got the raizadas as her in laws though her MIL was acerbic at times..just when we thought payal's wedding went on smoothly..khushi was at it again..she eloped with ASR and married him at a temple ..when did Arnavji and khushi fall in love?..as far as i knew they were fighting all the time..i was heartbroken that another stigma has been attached to my family..the more i tried to escape the clutches of the societal frown,the more i seem to fall into it..i tried to distance myself from khushi and with a broken soul told her that she was not my daughter at all..My sister's angel who had come to at the age of 8 ...who i was stricter with for this very reason..who is the very reason i married shashiji..who shashi loved more than his own daughter had brought this shame to the family..There, the mud of stigma sticking on to me again..

For some days, i was so angry at khushi that i refused to even look at her face..though my heart was breaking into pieces..i didn't know what i could do as payal was married into the same family and didn't want problems for her because of khushi's transgressions..All this changed during the holi day when anjali invited us home and showed us how the raizadas had accepted khushi as their DIL..It was even better when Arnavji and khushi came to visit and stay with us for some days ..Arnavji is a very warm person underneath the tough exterior he wears for the world..he did face some discomfort staying with us but our relationship changed because we started understanding his good nature and he started responding to our love..but khushi kept badgering him to call me amma..how many times have i told khushi not to irritate damadji and she keeps nagging him..I don't want him to call me amma until he is comfortable with the idea..the love and respect I see for our family will suffice..the understanding he shows would suffice..see the contentment of it all..feels like i have gained two sons in the form of Akash and Arnavji..gods for the first time seemed to have answered my prayers

Just when i thought the tide had changed for good,with my two daughters married and my husband's health on the mend...a storm blazed in our lives again in the form of khushi's incomplete marriage rituals and shubhadraji..I should asked whether her marriage was conducted with all the rituals in them..?No ,I didnt and again the stigma of marriage without pheras was looming large over our heads..this time the stigma was ushered in by none other than Arnav's dadiji who i wanted to escape at any cost...i am frightened that the lie i told her has
come to haunt my my khushi..i am frightened she would judge khushi as she had judged me once..that day she literally called my daughter characterless even after she sacrificed so
much for her family...Though Arnavji loves my daughter and agreed to the remarriage,i am frightened that Dadi would stop it once she comes to know who her aunt is..i have been escaping from her sight at rituals..and DM has been helping me escape ..but till when i can escape her?what will happen to chutki's remarriage when we come to face to face..I am fed up..I cannot reveal the past to anybody not even my daughter whose happiness impinges on this..and will Arnavji be able to forgive my lie and will he accept my daughter for it..i am suffocating from inside..will luck favour me..I feel Cornered..DM help my daughter to attain respectability and let not my past haunt her present is the fervent prayer on my lips..

An episode which made me sigh, angry, frustrate and happy (read Precap😆) ! So overall an ok epi...I know, I know..I am only saying this coz of the things to come hence forth!!

Nothing works on her, not love, not affection,not care! I really disliked the way she rejects everything, especially the ladoos made by Buaji..removing her hand, talking in that irritated voice as if everyone is hell bent on troubling her, totally disregarding the feelings of everyone...All this grated on my nerves today!😡

Arnav bitiwa enters the battleground and hears the "haalat" of his beloved di. He cant believe no body contacted him..ya..and so do we...cant believe it!
So the devil makes an entry! Can I just say I loved the BG music and the whole "feel" of this scene! Well done!!
Loved everyone's reaction.. A shocked and Furious ASR, a shocked and angry nani, a shocked and perhaps confused mami, a definitely confused Akash and Amidst all this,a totally calm,composed and silently evil-emanating Shyaam!
Nani is scared that Arnav will do something to Shyaam..she knows the hate he feels for the evil man and she moves forward just to take control of situation if required..
As expected, Arnav sees red...he cannot fathom how has the man dared to enter his home without any qualms..and gets an totally unexpected affirmation from Khushi!
We knew that she will be the one to get him back in RM, I was bracing myself for that...But the fact that she did not first talk to Arnav about it, is not sitting well with me! Why would she take this step without letting him know first!! Ah khushi! Why?😕
She is surprised that Arnav shrugs her hand from his shoulders 😲..but then she should expect this, brace herself for his fury..for he will be more furious when they are alone!
Shyaam's voice reach Anjali's ears and miraculously she gets the strength and will to respond, move, speak and live! Clearly telling everyone that it is Shyaam who instills life in her, she breathes because of him and not the Oxygen!
Arnav in a fix...He feels betrayed by what Khushi has done and I cant really blame him for that...And on the other hand there is his "sayani" di who has suddenly been revived from clutches of death as being portrayed by Nani..what any man in this situation is suppose to do?
Liked the scene acting wise where Anjali thanks him for bringing her pati back to RM..Barun definitely nailed it!!
Naniji is also happy for the recovery of bitiya.."jisko khone ka dar tha".. *Rolls eyes*

Other Some other points to ponder:

The nurse!she talks about Anjali's condition getting worsened but she makes NO effort in doing something to revive her! Ye kahaan se nurse layein hain? How did she qualify for a nurse? And all that she does is keep tab on the window, whether it is open or not!! *hits forehead*
Why has Akash such confused expressions throughout? Its like he is still deciding what he has to emote!
Khushi knows where Shyaam is staying! How? and WHY???😕
I am glad that this phase of the show is over where instead of feeling sympathetic towards a woman who has just lost her baby, we feel emotionally disconnected to her coz of her constant whining and tantrums...Atleast from tomorrow,the focus will be Arnav, Khushi and Shyaam!
Precap looks Yummy!!😆 See, this is what the constant Anjali-Shyaam focus does on us...We want Arnav-Khushi scenes...whatever the scenario...They fight, hate, argue, love, cry or laugh,I want to see them!! Oiyee!!

Many will say Anjali is in love and love in blind.. But in this case love is blind, deaf , dumb and stupid. If Anjali is in love, why didn't they show her standing up against Arnav and the family? Why didn't she fight with him to get her Shyam back? Why didn't she call Shyam back and threaten to leave the house with shyam? Why didn't she try proving Shyam innocent? If that side of Anjali was shown then probably she would have earned the respect of many. Why were the webs of deceit woven? She accused everyone of fake concern, when she has been the one who is lying from so long. If the intention was to show Anjali as a weak woman, why is she being shown stubborn for all wrong things? Why is she being shown so manipulative?

I actually liked the episode. If they had to make it appear as though Anjali is on the verge of losing her life to get Shyam back, so be it. I will take it at face value. Do I agree with khushi's decision? Hell no! Do I understand where Khushi is coming from? Probably a bit. Khushi has always been known to be impulsive. She acts first, and thinks later. She also always thinks from her heart. Here, she was the only one who knew why Anjali was doing better the previous night. She realized that Anjali would improve only if she got her Shyamji back. So, without worrying about the consequences (read Arnav's reaction), she set out to get Shyam back. At this point, she is only thinking about di's health, and nothing else. Does she then have a very short term memory? Of course. Because only Khushi can forget that he tried to murder her husband and herself not so long ago. Him lusting after her is a non-issue compared to that!

I am glad Shyam is back in the house. At least, Anjali drama will end now and she can happily participate in all the wedding festivities. And, we the viewers can get some respite from her, and get our fair share of Arnav and Khushi! I would like to point out that though we know that Arnav has done the right thing by ousting Shyam, the way he did it was less than practical. Until Anjali believes it from her heart, it is impossible to truly get rid of him from Anjali's life. No one knows how low he can stoop. Arnav knows that he tried to kill him and betrayed his di. He still doesn't know how he molested Khushi. No one in the family has really seen any proof against all the insinuations against him. They just took Arnav's word for it, but we saw in as recent as last week's episode, how that faith in Arnav (and therefore Khushi) was flickering in both Akash and Mami's mind. Of course, no one in the family knows that he is a cold blooded murderer. So, for khushi to really be absolved of all the blame, he was definitely needed back. So, I say bring it on. It is going to be explosive to watch Shyam and Arnav in the same frame.

That said, I am now more than ready for some passion, romance and a grand wedding with all its finery.
