Have you ever heard a heart breaking? Ok., I am borrowing Raaga's question from yesterday's observations. But let me tell you, I haven't till date. But today, I actually heard two hearts breaking, even within all the boisterous noise in the party. In fact, I saw it and even felt it. No, there were no thunders or lightings to accompany this great event, just a slight chink, like a glass shattering and the entire world came down for Jai and Bani. A lot of questions will now arise as to who's responsible and who's not. But, the main culprit in this entire sequence is the unholy circumstance that bound these two people together, only to later throw them away from each other and further to pit them against each other.

Really we all try to outpace Time daily, but at the end we end up being its slave. Time is the only factor to which we, humans still bow down, in respect, in awe and in frustration.
There is a lot to ponder our heads on but I will try not to do much anyway. All because of Pia. And God, was I right when I mentioned a few days back that this stupid female has both her eyes trained on Jai, and maybe she's just waiting for her Didi's exit from his life!!! Doesn't she have any sharam, whatsoever? She belongs to those unwanted species who can do anything for money. Mid-way during the last week, I tried to change my thinking about her in the sense that I felt that she would try to bring Bani and Pushkar together (yuck, yuck, yuck!!!) and may end up blabbering before Jai about Bani's past feelings for Pushkar. But lo behold! the W**** is eyeing Jai in the party and thinking of her engagement day and stuff. Can't she see the pain and helplessness resonating from his persona and her sister? Forget it, how can she? She is so mean and self-centred that she can only think of herself and no one else. I loved Rano, my Powerpuff Girl, when she gives Pia the dressing down. But the airhead is so immersed in herself that she even fails to realize the implication of what her sister is trying to explain to her. Rano is extremely right when she points out to Pia that these are HARD TIMES for Bani and that she needs stable counsel and guidance and not any advice that will cause her further harm. How true!!! I now know what happened – God gave Pia the dressing sense of all three sisters, but took her brains out and distributed it equally between Bani and Rano. Though I really doubt that there was much of it anyway inside that thick cranium. She even has a thicker skin, OMG.
The creatives brought in Tarun as Jai's friend to fight Bani's case and maybe to try and reconcile them. Should have understood right away – that Ekta is planning to play havoc with Jai's 'josh' for Pia now, since Jai is shown heartbroken in today's episode, and the maybe the creatives could throw caution to the wind with his 'hosh' and ultimately make Jai 'madhosh'. I will be more than happy to be proved wrong. Ekta's in Kolkata right now, how about I abduct her and end all our collective misery? On second thoughts, I wouldn't do that because that would mean that KS stops, I don't even know whether I want to watch it or leave watching it. Wait, just let me get a flower so that I can go 'I will watch, I won't watch, I will watch, …' all through the night.
Now, lets come to Jigs darling. She is at her loudest best, in terms of both her makeup and acting. But her confrontation scene with Bani was very well executed. The way she talks of Bani's changing expressions and her interpretation of them were hilarious. She was good as usual and b****y as usual, and on top of that she was dressed like a banshee. So, she is the latest screaming banshee!!! And lets send her some catalogues from Revlon, Maybelline, L'Oreal, Lakme and others – at least, she will get a good range of lipstick shades to choose from.
I really don't understand Jigs. In one instant, she's planning with her sapola son to take over all the property, business and other financial assets from Jai. Later, she ends with crying copiously when Jai stands engulfed in the flame. What's wrong with her! On the other hand, she has broken Jai's request by letting Bani know that Tarun Sablok is Jai's best friend, though Jai had categorically ordered her from doing so. So more dhamakas and thappads between the brother-sister duo in the coming days.
Now, the fire incident at Raaga's Taru Lee's function. I was expecting fireworks, it ended up being a damp squib. And how awfully was that shot. Also I noticed that when the fire started, the bartender was the one to leave the spot first. Just as rats abandon ships when they have the least feeling that a ship is about to drown. The two fighting mongrels, along with the sunny Adi, leaves the spot and our hero stands there all alone, in a fiery chakravyuha, looking for a way to escape. And what even management – no fire-fighting backup, Mr. Walia. Honestly, I would not take any risk myself by hiring your Event Management Firm.
Enter our Elektra Bani. The first thing that she does when she sees Jai in that ring of fire is exactly what she did when they were both in Mukesh Mills and Jai was counting moments of his death, after recounting the Park Road horror. She ran to him, pushed aside Raashi and Aditya, and entered the chakravyuha. All the while she had been frantic and gets calm only after she realizes that Jai is safe. Yes, she again chooses her love for him over death. Lovely background incantations of sacred marriage mantras fill up our senses and we can almost feel that whatever happens, these two are eternally bonded by the virtuous vows they took around the sacred fire. As they stand face to face, the enormity of the act hits both of them and the accompanying music tries to tell blatantly that "Bani, Game's up". But, Bani gathers enough courage to return to her shell and tell a distraught, heartbroken Jai that she has just returned for the file, since there were a no. of persons to save Jai, but without the file she couldn't do anything. Tears well up in the corners of Jai's eyes who is unable to accept the fact that Bani came back for the file. How ironical!!! Bani tells Jai that there were many people in the party who would save him though the reality is that she is the only one who has ventured into that hell-hole to save him. But today, Time is not on their side and they have no option but to follow its dictates with a heavy heart. I would have killed Bani myself if she had given everything away today, even though she definitely broke her husband's heart. But, I hope Jai will have much more tenacity and perseverance to see him through.
It seems that Jai will once again start reacting to the incident rather than the person in question, i.e. Bani. If he doesn't, then I will give him credit for not talking crap to Tarun when he told him a few days back that he trusts Bani a lot and that he has understood her correctly. If he does, the n I will know that he has actually not gone anywhere from his earlier stance.
I know most of you will not agree with me here, but somehow I liked Bani blasting Jai's family members when she points out to them that she is the 'bahu' of the house and not the 'beti'. As long as she was in the house with Mr. Walia, everything was ok, but now when she is outside the house, fighting against Mr. Walia, there is nobody from the family on her side. Its so true yet so sad. For once, I agree that Muasi and others have only seen things from Jai's viewpoint and tried to understand him, they had hardly tried to reach out to Bani. For instance, Mausi knows the real reason why Jai and Bani had split, but has she ever tried to talk to Bani about it and try to understand her? She went to visit Bani only when the divorce cum alimony stuff came to the fore and Jai's property was at stake. I mean every time it has been Munna and not anybody else. Also, as she revealed at the very end, Bani wants everyone to hate her and that's why she responded to the family so bitchily – she is of the opinion that bad behaviour with family members would add rapidity to the divorce proceedings.
The fight that Ranveer picked up with Pushkar was at best very juvenile. When the fight broke out and later the fire, pretty boy Saahil instead of helping stood beside his pretty wife, wearing similar expressions. Pushkar was looking so funny wearing that stupid expression on his face when he was jiving away to the music, standing behind Ranveer at the bar.
Now the heartbreaking scene of the episode. Bani is in the parking lot, standing in front of a car and crying when she feels a hand on her shoulder. She turns back to reveal a crying face to Raashi who has followed her there (at least somebody from the Walia House is trying to reach out to her, maybe this will help in the future) and who's worried as to how badly Bani has hurt Jai today. She is unable to fathom why Bani is doing all these. Bani then draws her attention to that day when Raashi had visited her in the guest-house and told her that both Jigs and Ranveer had actually planned to get Jai's signatures on some papers soon, so that the entire property would get transferred to their name. Bani was shocked to know this (and hey, the Bani here is similar to the Bani after the consummation, standing in front of the window when that witch Pia comes in form of a calamity between them). One thing though guys. I noticed that after the consummation, when Pia sobs in Bani's arms saying that she had left Pushkar altogether and that she rued the fact that she did not marry Mr. Walia and had run away with Pushkar instead, a couplet of Sanskrit mantras play in the background. Its not the marriage one, something different and challenging and there also the word 'chakravyuham' stood out. So, I think that Jai and Bani will now be caught in a web of deceit and betrayals spun by that hopeless Pia.
Ok, now to the main issue.. Bani tells Raashi that she wants the entire family to hate her so that the claims are settled soon , since she wants Jai's money and properties to be under her control so that there are no chances of the money being swindled and that's why she even wants more than 50 % of his property. The only way to save Jai from this situation was to file for divorce and claim alimony and other settlement issues. Raashi requests her not to use her silence on this issue as a weapon to prove anything to which Bani replies tearfully that she doesn't want to prove anything, only that whatever she was doing was for her family. Also, the fact remains that she cannot be with the love of her life when she desperately wants to be so. Bani tells Raashi that she is well aware of Mr. Walia's pains and that she can understand and feel his pain everytime his heart bleeds. And that probably, she is not destined to be with him for ever in her life. Poor girl, she then breaks down crying with the sad version of Jiya Dhadak Dhadak playing in the background. She sits down on the caretaker's table in the parking lot, clutching the file, looking all lost and forlorn, with tears streaming down her cheeks.
A round of applause for Raashi today. She has actually come to realize good from bad and had decided to help Jai and Bnai by passing on this vital piece of information to Bani. Another JnB camper, I am sure. But the question that still lurks behind is that how will Bani go back to the Walia House? And whether Jai will succumb to Pia's brainless charms again? If he does, then probably I hardly know the real Jai Walia.
Ram, Prachi, Ashwini were excellent. Rano was good too. Ranveer and Pushkar please grow up guys. Saahil try to be an individual and not a statue of the Walia household, as Raaga lovingly describes you. Tarun missed you in action today. Jigs lesser makeup please, it hurts my eyes everytime. Pia, stop being an in idiot and whatever else that you manage to be every time you come on screen. AND DON'T EYE YOUR JEEJU. HEAVEN'S SAKE, HE LOVES YOUR SISTER AND VICE-VERSA!!! 😡😡😡
