Yes that comparison is a little over board and it does hurt the sentiments of some people. We honestly should be more careful with words. It's very offensive.

But does that mean we all fans are worshipping him??!! And when people try to make sense of Arnav's actions they are immediately assumed Sobti die hards and our argument suddenly makes no sense??!!!

I too think thy yes some of them go overboard with their love for this guy but comparing him to God??!! I am offended!!

thats exactly what I am saying...some person may have gone overborad and said he is the god of looks or acting...or something equally silly...but only that comment is picked up and brandd on post after post and then the forum is called a shrine of sobti or something equally foolish...

Same way if someone refers to him as God - let them :) They might just be over-exaggerating, and we don't really have the authority to point fingers and say "No, thou shalt not refer Sobti as God" :)

Having said that there are fans who have kinda taken their "love" for an actor to a bit of an extreme leaving a bad taste in a lot of people's mouths.

I agree that there are 2 sides to it. But that doesnt give anyone the right to call supporters of a celebrity names!!!!
