ACP Pradyuman is the only CID officer of India to have graced the post for fifteen long years in Mumbai and well loved by Indians for it. Shivaji Satam who essays this role is remembered by many People from Ek shunya Shunya days as the man who was traveling with them in the Mumbai buses and ready with a smile. The deep voice has essayed many a roles but none as famous as ACP Pradyuman.

The various roles that he essays as ACP Pradyuman shows the very same roles he handles in real life- a sportsman, a father, a mentor, a trusted friend and an actor.
ACP Pradyuman who might seem like a strict no nonsense cop and actually is one, is also a person with a caring and soft soul.
If needed he can scold his juniors at the same time act as a fatherly figure in their lives.
As said by Daya in an episode named Unknown Gift "Maana ki ACP sir gussa karthe hai, par humse pyaar bhi toh utna hi karthe hai".
ACP who can raise his eyebrows and give a stern look enough to make criminals surrender has a smile that no other can match. A genuine smile full of care.
This really strict cop shares a great rapport with kids, who see him as an idol 😃
Shivaji Satam has essayed the role with such perfection that it's become his identity. As said by him in an interview "When kids see me,they come to me and address me as ACP. That's something I really love."

Shivaji Satam as ACP Pradyuman has become a synonym for CID. People recognise the show with his name. Every CIDian is proud of him and thank him from the bottom of their hearts for giving him ACP Pradyuman. The definition of a Perfect Cop.

ACP Pradyuman is an idol for many. He's a man of principles who doesn't back out from sacrificing his life for his country.

A man who can go to any corner of the world to catch hold of criminals. As shown in CID he's traveled to Europe to catch hold of criminals

A man who supports justice and truth to such an extent that he did not back out from shooting his own son who had taken the evil path.

ACP Pradyuman has set an example for the public. Proving every single time that justice never stays hidden. Truth will come out some day. A man of principles and pride. A person who his juniors and fans respect,admire and adore. We thank you Shivaji Sir for portraying ACP Pradyuman's role to such perfection that the character exists for us not only in fiction but in our lives as us, because it's we who will follow ACP Pradyuman's principles today and always.
