Spice Girls Hangout:Divine intervention!

TRPs are out and they are positive for IPKKND, finally CVs have found a track that clicks with viewers and no longer have to rush the pace for now know what works and what doesn't. The pace for this episode was decent and I liked it.

The game of hide and seek continues between Garima and Dadi, Garima senses trouble and gets out of there before anyone could notice she was gone. Poor Bua is once again left without answers for she herself does not know why Garima would suddenly disappear. While I do believe Garima's intentions are not to hurt Khushi, her actions are hurtful. Khushi was looking forward to sharing this special time of her life with her mother but Garima repeatedly finds excuses to not be there.

I am loving ASR's continued I don't give a damn attitude towards what Dadi thinks or says when Khushi revealed that Dadi blames her. It was nice that Nani came to Khushi's defense but it would've been best to remind Dadi that she said after Haldi and that has yet to happen. Interesting point to be noted when Khushi seeks Dadi's ashirwad she actually gets it, Dadi does not pull away instead she extends her hand towards her.

I actually understood why there was shock to Arnav coming to the mandir, yes he's done so in the past but only because he was forced or emotionally blackmailed today for the first time it was out of his own free will. He is doing all this Khushi Ke Liye, a man who once brought nothing but pain in her life is now doing whatever it takes to make her smile. He loves her and his happiness stems from hers.

The sisterly bond continues to shine with Khushi and Payal. I liked the part where Payal tells Khushi about Arnav waiting for her by the car and her proudly looking on when she sees just what Arnav will do for Khushi. Payal is really happy that her sister has found true love, so while this bond strengthens between siblings another one is set to break

While I see the CVs are trying to keep Anjali neutral it is not working. Being in denial is one thing, we all knew that would happen but her flat out lying to her loved ones and deceiving her brother in the worst possible way is nothing short of cruel. So exactly how does Shyam think he can freely return to RM with Arnav's approval?? These days its Khushi has taken over as his top priority and I'm sure he will not have his wife living under the same roof with Shyam of all people so what will happen?? Obvious this wedding will go on, so whatever Shyam has planned must backfire.

hi everyone😊'.Sari'awesome post..just supahhh👏'.well...another episode replete with mysteries, betrayal, love, faith n what have you...recently heard an interview of khushi when she says our episodes have all... so im happy even if trp maata isnt...hmmm...point to ponder..isnt it...sometimes all isnt good babe...n this might well be the case of the trp ship of ipkknd...when i got attracted to ipkknd...the one thing which caught my attention was it looked like a mini bollywood movie to me...it really had all...angsty hero, pretty heroine, sizzling romance, family drama, shot beautifully, executed very well, not confining to the set norms of what a hero is, in fact asr was an anti-hero, to say the least...still its audience grew n it left its competition way behind...as was put in by the screenplay writer of the show..every week..they had to deliver a movie and the pressure is to deliver a hit ...every single time...n going by its popularity...we can safely say...they did an awesome job...so why this kolavari now...why is it that every single quotient which is needed in a screenplay is present n is still not cutting any ice with me as a viewer and an ardent fan of the serial,,to boot...points to ponder imho...

1. too complicated a mesh can sometimes leave you entangled within its weave...keep the drama...but dont make it a complicated snoozefest which can make the viewer reach for the remote...at 8pm...a tired junta wants entertainment...not a story which needs too much of deciphering and decoding...keep it simple and sweet
2. focus and cash in on your USP...n all of us know what that is..isnt it...n i have 2 say the PH is really trying to do that...it is just today's romantic encounter in mandir/smiling arnav/content khushi is all too cute n sweet...but failed to evoke a satisfied feeling in me...n i honestly dont know why...but that would just be me...and im truly surprised coz it doesnt take a lot to satisfy my tv entertainment requirement...i loved the roka episode...even tho the actual kiss didnt happen...i could feel the magic is still there...today it was lacking again..for me strictly...
3. i had thought i will borrow doc's acronym and just write NWIW (not worth one word) for anjali di...but then i decided...i need 2 rant..so pl bear with me...sweet turned confused n evil anjali di..or should i say hypocrisy much..after taking 1-2 whole episodes to create a big drama about how her chhotey is not hers anymore...which was very very strange ..not to say..wrong on many levels..to hear...but actually she went ahead to accuse him that u n khushi lied 2 me...oh hello mam...what r u doing now...satyavaadi harishchandra much..NOT...even her absolute lack of brain cannot justify what she was shown to be doing today...scheming behind back..feeding fraud n flirt hubby with bro's hard earned money in his living room...does she evern know what kind of deep shit she is in...n u know what ..anjali di...i have zero patience/sympathy for characters like u...i didnt have it post thappad episode...n most definitely not now...in asli duniya...i have unfortunately been privy of girls being duped by their good for nothing hubbies and i have seen them..rise above it despite being alone (n di has a doting bro n family with her)...not behave in the way she has behaved n has been behaving...big thumbs down.👎🏼👎🏼..writers ..we have heard a lot about how much channel influences the story...well..this is the time to go by the channel's oft repeated message of "nayi soch"...show anjali to be double crossing shyam n ill be the first one 2 applaud...n i dont care if it doesnt go with her character portrayed uptil now...people change...just like anjali di is not so toffee se meethi now..isnt it...😳
4. pl fire sanaya's stylist asap...im sure that itself will guarantee a few points up in the trp...whoever is the stylist..sorry babe/sir..no personal offence...but more often than not u suck!!
5. akash ...i have 2 say i loved ur short n sweet scene with payal today...totally on the mark..good job'..👏
6. naniji ..i know u r nani n not dadi...n hence the social norms dont make u shut the eff up dadi...but trust me...u can n u should...atleast the younger generation wont judge u...u have brought up arnav n u have more rights as far as im concerned...so pl show dadi her place whenever she refers to garima as mausi...n if u really cant...then pl make the writers 2 jagao khushi's inner feisty self n tell dadi garima is her amma'hmph😡

Good enough episode. I wouldn't call it a filler. We are another rasam down and faltu suspense is uncovered.😃

We start from the mandir where dadi arrives and conveniently stands behind Amma. Amma notices and begins to sweat bullets. Amma looks like she is about to pass out any second but she manages to escape before Dadi can raise her palm.

Unfortunately she gets noticed by Akash who got his chance to shine in this epi. Buying phool.

Anyway on the other side, Di return home and very smartly sends HP on a break. But HP doesn't want to leave Di! Why you forcing him?? Bechara HP. No biwi bache at home and mooft holiday on top of it.

So back to Amma who jumps into a rickshaw and goes home making a feeble excuse about some nurse and babuji. Sigh. Oh Amma Amma Amma. Why you digging a deeper hole for yourself.

Khushi explains to the Raizadas and the blot named Dadi. And of course Dadi cannot let a moment pass without insulting the girl and drops a remark about not meeting Amma but Khushi meets Arnav.

Eh Dadi? Ap bhul gai? Its not haldi yet. Abhi haldi ko time hai. Milne do. Pfft.

Next Chotti on the phone with Chotte who's leaning against the dabba car, doing nothing in his awesome ASR bubble.

And as soon as Chotti mentions "Rasam" that is it. Chotte wants this shaadi 101% legal in the eyes of law and society so he will do anything to prevent anyone saying anything against them. And up the stairs he goes, shocking the family and Khushi. And what a swag, wah! Chammak Chalo! And he removes those shades. And has anyone ever made stair walking look like stair walking? (Daily phangurl limit exceeded)

Chotte arrive and wants to receive divine permission for the shaadi. Whatever permissions he needs he'll take it.

So khushi teaches him how to pray. Whattay cuteness. The whole scene was so sweet it needs to be insured against diabetes. Chotte folds his hands and closes his eyes. Looks at Chotti, who through her skype connection knows Chotte is poking her and she smiles. And vice versa, Chotti looks at Chotte who smiles too.😳

Since Chotte doesn't believe. What does he pray for?? Oh, he's thinking about Aman and stocks and builders and accounts. Yawn.🥱 Or maybe planning his next meeting with Chotti. How is he going to drag her away. Or 101 ways to annoy dadi. Or When is the next time he's going to aim for a kissy. Or maybe he is just chanting. I will marry Khushi. I will. Ok i'll shut up now.🤔

So pooja over. Payal again jumps in to remind Khushi how lucky she is to have Arnavji because Akash is pointless. Mujhe to lagta hai jiji is the biggest ASR phangurl.😆

Khushi realises that the boy has been trying hard for her and decides to do something for him. Cvs if you read my plea yesterday can she plant a smacker. For our mansik santulan?(thx Manisha)

Now I like Khadoos ASR as much as the next person but loveface Arnav is cute yo! And i'll take doses of him like this because the next day he'll show us the ASR finger at us.

Next Dadi still harping about Amma. Gawd. This woman needs to realise Khushi is her hone wali bahu not Amma. Tchah.

Even ASR rolled his eyes at her. Go on ASR. Lets go home he says, this budhiya will keep on harping till he becomes a budha.

Back at home Di has planned a romantic day over a chuski of chai, with the one and only Ohmygoodgod, the tree was Shyam?? Oh i'm Shocked Cvs. What a suspense. I would never have guessed. Pfft.

Di, may I remind you of the time some weeks back when Chotte and Chotti were having a romantic moment and you walked in with your bucket of glycerin and gave them hell because chotte lied to spend time with his wife? Do you see what you are going now?? Only difference is Chotte is allergic to glycerin and more thappad and steam prone. Tera kya hoga ab Di?

Sari: Beautiful post and loved how you highlighted the mandir scene; that scene truly defines the mood for the entire track👏👏

Filler episode of the fortnight; hopefully the slow pace since the past 2 days has put to rest fears that the show is galloping its way to an end. I just wish the CV's could find a way to strike a balance instead of giving action packed weeks followed by yawn worthy episodes.

Garima as predicted managed a close escape once again; she rushes home under the pretext of giving meds to her hubby. The whole Gupta and Raizada clan seems 😲😲 to see ASR climbing up the mandir steps. Didn't he attend the puja in the mandir last Teej in front of the whole family 😕.

Anyways Khushi's Arnavji is all about fulfilling each rasam dil se, being a part of the atoot vishwas she has in the rituals and ensuring that he stands by Khushi at each step during the ceremonies👍🏼. Loved how he smiled on seeing her smile; how she rejoiced and shared a moment with DM on him coming into the temple and doing all this for her and how she prayed that DM bless him always❤️. Like a little child he follows her cues on how to pray and accept the prasad; truly a changed man. While all this mush fest is very nice to see for Khushi coz she really deserves all the happiness he is trying to give her can some of the other drama begin to unfold and fast because if ASR has permanently become Arnav for Khushi that's great but I need to see his ASR side intact while facing the rest of the world and especially the snake face who ate a bunch of the screen time today😡.

The most symbolic shot today has to be the one where Arnav and Khushi jointly cup their hands to receive the blessing from DM. This wedding will happen and ARHI will stand united because they have been blessed as a couple and been granted the permission for the marriage that they were so eagerly seeking❤️.

I do not see the past or Shyam being able to break them apart this time. Minor roadblocks: yes; major heartbreak and separation; NO. I was delighted to see Khushi remind Arnav about the mannat incident with the little girl; clearly shows both remember all the defining moments of their past and are willing to acknowledge their importance and meaning to each other.

So Anjali's Mr. India is revealed to be Shyam; Surprise Surprise; NOT! Anjali mentions that she wants Arnav's MU to be cleared so that everything can go back to being like before; so that means she thinks Shyam is right and Khushi is the devil then how come she is smiling away delighted at the prospect of her Chote marrying Khushi. Some kind of clarification on Anjali's thought process is an absolute must if the CV's want the audience to show some kind of tolerance towards Anjali and her screen time. A welcome twist would be Anjali playing Shyam to get to the bottom of the truth but looks like that scenario is best left to my SKD only.

I doubt anyone cares about witnessing more of Garima's 101 stupid ways of escaping the truth and putting Khushi and Buaji in a tight spot each time; why even show that as a precap; better would be no precap at all. I'll try to end on a slight positive: in my SKD, Khushi who now wants to do something for her Arnavji for being the sweetheart he is and nibhaoing all the rasams "humare liye", will hopefully wear the red/pink sari Arnav gifted her and plan a small romantic encounter with him which will end with her taking the initiative to complete the zillion missed kiss attempts!

Sari, a very good take as usual. Your interpretation of the episode and reading between the dialogues and scenes is always so refreshing.

This one seemed to work for me a little better than the last few – the pacing was fine and the flow between the scenes and the stories did not feel jarring. I guess Garima will continue to play a long lukachupi game with Dadi (causing a lot of the SGs to lose their sharths) while Shyam continues to be the ultimate survivor always looking for the next opening to take advantage of – nothing new here…its vintage IPK!

What I liked :

- Nani trying to stand up for Khushi during the whole 'you're leading my pota astray' berating that Dadi was working herself up for. I guess Dadi really doesn't know her grandson at all, despite all the evidence he's been throwing her way with his constant standing up to her for his beliefs and stances – be it Khushi, his mother or his past actions. She hasn't figured out what ASR's family knows all too well –no one makes him do anything he doesn't want to. Or maybe she knows but refuses to acknowledge it to herself. After all blaming the woman she's taken an intrinsic dislike to is so much easier than the acknowledging that she seems to have no influence on her grandson's life. A very human reaction this.

- Payal sidling upto Khushi and informing her that Arnavji is waiting for her by the car. Payal's slow warming up to Arnav from a seemingly neutral stance, mainly after seeing his public support for Khushi has been one of the few tracks in recent history that has been very nicely depicted. Even a little bit of Akash today worked for me.

- Khushi's conversation with ASR where she complains about dadi but immediately pipes down and asks him not to get angry since they're here to ask Devi Maiya's permission for their marriage. Loved ASR stopped-in-his-tracks body language when she implys that dadi's attitude bothers her even if he doesn't give a damn. Also liked how she immediately asks him to clam down – knows her Lard Governor quite well does his Khushi. Of course, the mention of the new magic mantra of rasm calms the beast down and sends him up the stairs towards Devi Maiya.

- ASR's bowing down to Devi Maiya for Khushi – my take on it is that he's not changed his fundamental beliefs but does it for Khushi as it's a rasm and this time he wants to give her what she wants – a wedding replete with every rasm under the sun. Execution could have been better but overall nicely done esp the part where they sneak a look at each other while praying before the Maiya. Also liked how he asked her whether she's happy after the rasm is done – a new variation to his 'tum theek ho'. I'm not sure why the family was surprised to see him come to the temple – he's done it before for teej. The surprise should have been saved for the actual act of bowing down before the Maiya and accepting the jal from the priest – something he's refused to do in the past. ASR is smiling too much and I completely understand why – the faade he painstaking built up is slowly crumbling and his smile is getting easier and more frequent. The guy deserves some happiness after his horrendous past and the effort he's made to escape his nightmares and take care of his loved ones. It makes me a little sad knowing that the knocks and betrayals coming his way will succeed in shoring up his mask yet again. Hopefully, this time around, he will not be left standing alone but will have Khushi to help him get through it.

Points to ponder :

- Anjali continues to try and hold on to her dream world desperately. I wonder whether her family and Chotte will also one day realize their part in helping her towards this dark path she's hell-bent on going down – or do I ask too much from the show! Loving and protecting someone is a completely different ball game from coddling her from life's little knocks to the extent that she seems to be completely oblivious to anything but holding on to her self created perfect world. Whatever else the CVs do to butcher Anjali's character (and they've done plenty so far), this facet where she shys away from any conflict in her vicinity and refuses to let go of her make-believe perfect world no matter what the consequences, has always been consistently depicted.

- Dadi's constant refrain of Amma as Khushi's Mausi seems to be dismissed by most of the family. Shouldn't Nani or Buaji try to correct her? This should not be left to Arnav to fix.

- The huge loophole of ASR throwing Shyam out of the house and forgetting all about him inspite of what Shyam came so close to accomplishing – almost snuffing the life out of him in fairly spectacular fashion and managing the singular task of simultaneously messing up both his di and his Khushi's life. Even my better half who is usually supremely content at watching (or usually hearing about) a soap play itself out with a few and increasingly rare well done moments in between, remarked yesterday that it doesn't make sense for ASR to not hire PIs to keep an eye on Shyam. How much effort does it take for a smart, self-made, covering-all-bases, intelligent tycoon to hire some people to keep tabs on Shyam while he enjoys his newfound happiness!

- I don't usually pay that much attention to the cast's outfits and was one of the minority that thought Khushi looked gorgeous in the roka dress but I must say that the yellow monstrosity with that dupatta and the horrendous sleeves was a gigantic eyesore. I could barely look anywhere else while it was on screen!
