Yes no doubt geet was different and will always be but the TM here is talking about hate/forced/unwanted marriages. And geet was a love marriage...

This is the first show, where love hate was the most justified. In most other shows, leads just hate each other without a solid reason.

MB CV's has build the hate relationship and gave a good solid reason for both their hate towards each other. They made RK hate Madhubala by insulting him on his film set. The biggest insult for a Superstar will be to slap him infront of all the people who respects and treat him as A GOd and also MB has send him to jail and it was in all the newspapers.

Madhu hates RK because he has destroyed all her close relationships to an extent, we wonder whether these two could ever fall in love. Her reputation, her father in a critical condition, her engagement broken, her dream of living a simple life, taking her away from her whole family, her sister's dream shattered which makes her sister hate her and wish she did not came into their life. What more can a simple girl lose?? Is there anything left.

In any shows hate was not shown to this extent. So I can say hate relationship was best shown in MB so far.

This hate relationship was built to pave way for not only a love story. It is to show RK what he has aimed to do will backfire on him one day, when MB will become a Super star. He is so proud of his superstar status and by using this humiliating Madhu. But one day Madhu will have all this and how she uses it is interesting to see. Maybe from thereon we will get to see their love and possessiveness for each other. In this show Junnon was very much highlighted. So I feel it is different and here the concept is based on more than love hate, it is ishq and junoon and filmy background. The junnon and ishq factor will be highlighted when RK & Madhu is faced against Balraj and from there we will see how RK protects Madhu from Balraj.

Usually with love-hate stories the love happens before the revenge for marriage starts. Here it's the opposite. In most Ekta Kapoor and other love hate stories the couples either didn't trust each other or were mislead so the revenge happens even though they love the other person. I always had a difficult time understanding how you love someone and take revenge at the same time. But thankfully Madhubala is different RK only feels passionate hatred towards Madhu and they have never been in love. Maybe there is some attraction but no love so it's more sensible to me.
