BV - Aug 21st written update

Shivu comes home. His parents tell him they should take Anandi and all should go to Jaipur to get engagement rings. Shivu wonders why they need to go to Jaipur for that. Shivu feels they should not trouble Anandi for this even though DS has agreed to send her. Irawati and Alok explain that they should use this oppurtunity to get to know Anandi better. They did the same when they were getting married. They don't relent and ask Shivu to get ready and leave. Shivu asks CM to try and change their minds, but CM says she can't do anything.

CM asks Shivu if everything is ok with him and Anandi. Anandi appears to be a little distant and not so excited about the wedding. She asks Shivu if there is any problem. Shivu thinks to himself that there is a problem but he can't share with CM Anandi's state of mind (or something like that). Shivu says Anandi is jaded by her previous relationship. Also she is upset by her mom's recent death. CM warns that marriage cannot be a one sided relationship. CM asks Shivu if he is happy. Shivu says he is very happy. His family has not yet seen the side of Anandi that he fell in love with, her nature, her courage, her love for everyone, etc. He is very lucky to be Anandi's life partner. CM looks convinced. She thinks to herself and hopes that Shiv is right. She only wants his happiness.

Everyone along with Anandi get ready to leave. DJ tries to make Anandi sit next to Shivu, but she looks uncomfortable. DJ tells her she can sit with Irawati. Alok is busy filming the drive. Shivu and Anandi keep looking at each other in the mirror. DJ sees this. He stops Shivu from banging into a bike and tells him to concentrate.

In Mumbai, Gauri has mehndi applied on her hands. JB comes there and asks the reason for it. Gauri makes up some excuse. JB asks about Bade papa and why he didn't visit them as he said he would. Gauri lies that BP had called to say he is going to Calcutta on some work. Gauri asks her mom what will happen if JB finds out about the truth from BP.

At the jewellery store, DJ insists that Shivu should pick a ring of Anandi's choice. He forbids Anandi from helping Shivu. He makes Anandi close her eyes. Shivu picks a sapphire ring. DJ then asks Anandi to open her eyes and pick her choice. Anandi too picks the same sapphire ring. Everyone is very excited. and clap that Shivu picked the right ring. Anandi remembers JB gifting a ring to her and making her wear it 🤢. Everyone is happily seeing all jewellery. Anandi looks lost. Shivu sees this and touches her finger to get the ring. The ring falls down. Both of them reach for the ring and their hands touch again. Shivu picks up the ring 😊 DJ tries some ring that is too tight for him. It gets stuck. Anandi helps him in getting out. Anandi smiles as DJ says something funny.

In Mumbai, JB asks Gauri why she didn't eat yet. Gauri shows mehndi in her hands and asks him to feed her. JB does so and Gauri looks very happy. Gauri hugs JB and thinks that she cannot wait for tomorrow when they will get all their happiness.

Precap : Gauri in bridal clothes. She stands in front of Singh's family portrait and tells Sumitra that she has won in her challenge and JB is hers forever. Meanwhile at the ATM, JB runs into Bade papa.
