What I feel is.. Khushi has already been very insecure and doubtful of the kind of marriage she has had.. nevertheless she respected the mangal sutra and the sindoor! She always knew this was a contract thing which will get over in six months! So even if some rituals were not taken care of when she married him, she dint care much thinking it would all be over soon, her life was anyways ruined! But now, things have changed! But she realizes that for that to happen, they cannot simply dismiss or ignore a few rituals and customs, especially when she just got reminded of where they have erred! Khushi believes that every ritual has a meaning and she wants to have a proper marriage now! Thus the sudden need!!! She wants the intimacy and love and sharing as much as ASR without feeling guilty about it!!

Its not for just the world.. her beliefs are her own too!! And she does not want the world to know that they dint have the phera! She has expressed her desire only to ASR! She dint want Daadi to know about it! SO its for her more than anybody else!

As for the validation.. she behaves like his wife and he behaves like her husband coz thats how they feel about each other! She loves him, has loved him all along!!

And we all knew ASR fell for her long back, his every action and reaction told us how much he loves her.. yet the 'I LOVE YOU DAMMIT' mattered more to us as well as Khushi!! I think thats what validation is all about!!!

you have always felt khushi deeply and i always enjoy and believe in your insights regarding her.

if khushi has a problem with consummation before she marries with all proper rituals, that's her desire, a valid desire. however, the time to say so should be a little before you let him lay you on the bed of flowers, don't you think? he took it slow and easy once she came out in her lehenga. then she saw the bed bedecked, think she could have said something then? asr may still not have understood, but that's him and she has every right to say what she feels is correct.

if khushi had an issue of not being ready yet, that's also fine.

you know what bothers me is the moral policing being done by the channel and then writers when none at all is required. in the bargain, a fabulous character like khushi is looking less than who she is. she has risked her life for her love, she has saved him showing immense courage, she has played shyam whom asr couldn't manage to see through in the beginning, she has shown unbelievable strength when she realised shyam is a fraud and a married man, she is fearless, she is just, and she is incredibly cute and mad. is it fair to show her as a scatterbrain who suddenly realises that ooops my marriage isn't complete so let me leap out of bed and start saying many ill considered things to the man i love deeply. just a day ago she'd sworn to herself she'd be there whenever he needs her to share his sadness. the night before, what beautiful care she took of him as he woke from his nightmare.

to create a remarriage, is it necessary to reduce this super cool girl? just my thoughts. i believe today she's said the kind of wonderful things you'd expect her to. i want to watch her grow and be all she is capable of being, sanka intact.

do i make sense?
