Kaks, her combative spirit and her ability to rise above adversity has been Nidhi's most endearing trait...it was her never say die attitude that kept her afloat even during the Mallika track...

Yes, this spunk was missing in a way during the break-up track...but maybe not really...she gave up the fight because she was being torn between her family and the love of her life,...and she was indebted to her father for having dedicated his life to her...she could not break his heart...and yet, the way she tried to cope with the situation in her own way and her attempt to smile even amidst the heartbreak stand testimony to the same do or die attitude...she had made her choice for a variety of reasons but she was not going to let it kill her,...hence her ability to show more fortitude as compared to Dr Ashutosh, who completely broke down...in his defence though, he had lost so much in his life and she was his last hope almost...losing her was probably the last straw!
