Director's Cut - July 31, 2012

Dear All,

Once again, I welcome you all to yet another take on Director's Cut... our view from the Director's Lens !!! What a super episode yet again... Gul Khan is shutting her critics up... left, right and center !!!

I take this opportunity... to thank the Gen Next on the DC thread... Ruby and I are amazed at the young writers here... Sammy, our little Patakha has always been an inspiration for me !!! I could never put 2 sentence together when I was her age !!! Aditi, although busy with her super hard studies... creates such beautiful posts... I feel humbled ! Maham, with her views from across the border... keeps reminding us the love has no borders whatsoever !!! Young and Talented... DC would not be DC without you guys here !!!

Remember during the New Year's Eve time... when Khushi had suggested Arnav to leave from the window so that HER family doesn't wake up... how arrogantly he had said... "Leave from the window? Are you nuts? Why should I leave from the window... I will go from the door !!!"

Today, the very same Arnav Singh Raizada has climbed in from the same window, so as THEIR family doesn't wake up !!!

That day he was just her ex-boss, her sister's would be brother-in-law... but even though, Today he is her husband and has all the rights to come from the door as and when... he chose to climb the window !

Arnav Singh Raizada is a man in Love... And he will do anything to get his wife back by hook or by crook !!!

Are we noticing the changes in both these love birds... since they have finally acknowledged their love... at least to themselves !!!

Arnav has become a sweetheart... A few months ago, could you ever have imagined The Arnav Singh Raizada picking up plates and clearing the table !!!

And our dear old Khushi has become an obedient wife... He told her not to go back when he comes towards her... and she hasn't, since then ! He told her to be awake... she was ! And the moment he told her to go to sleep... Khushi was asleep... just like that !

If I were in ASR's place... even I would have said... What the !!! 😲

So he picks her up and takes her to the bedroom... and as per her habit, she doesn't let go of his collar... He makes sure she is comfortable, and is ready to leave... but she doesn't let him go !!! Subconsciously, she wants him with her... around her... always !


All he needed was just an excuse... and he sleeps peacefully next to her ! The man who had, but a couple of months ago, made excuses, to not go to Gupta House, has now no qualms sleeping over, just like that ! He doesn't need an invitation anymore... it's HIS home too !!! 😊



He wakes up to see his wife sleeping in the "Taekwondo" pose... I personally love the way Khushi is all over him in her subconscious... No Arnav Rekha for her anymore !! Why this happens in Gupta House only... well Arnav is equally puzzled... no wonder he loves sleeping here more than Raizada Mansion !

Did we notice... Arnav... has not only started speaking more... he has started with monologues too !!! Bitiya has a good influence over him !!!😆

If its her habit to sleep all over him... he cannot sleep anymore without holding her hands !!!



He knows she hasn't slept a wink last night.. so her next chore is... Sleep !!! Did we notice Khushi's small little smile... Bitwa is learning fast how to make her smile, eh !!!

The 24 Hrs are up and she earns her money and earns it well... She has done everything he asked her to do... and done it with a smile on her face !!! Look at the pride of completing the Task !!!

But will Arnav let his wife win so easily !! Oh No no no... He has another ace up his sleeve !!! He makes sure she returns to him... and he has another deal to make with her !!!

Cut 2

The AMEZING Developers office ! Raizada being Raizada... he buys Buaji's house, and tries to cut a deal with Khushi... Will give you Buaji's house, if you come home with me ! Khushi disagrees and storms off from the office !

The point to note here is NOT why Arnav is doing all this to Khushi? The point is... he is so amused at her anger, because he had anticipated her reaction !!! The way Khushi destroyed the whole office in anger... he could not help but smile... even offered to help !!! He was having fun to see her annoyed !!! Had it been earlier... He would have been furious, even if just a pen was moved here from there !

As this Production House loves to repeat their scenes, jogging our memory back to magic times... once again Khushi's dupatta got stuck somewhere and she turned around fuming towards Arnav... but this time he was well prepared, and glad she didn't have HOT TEA in her hands !!! 😃 Didn't we all love the scene back then... what fond memories !


Did we notice... Khushi has become Arnav... the way Arnav has become Khushi ! WHAT THE comes as easily to her as Smile comes to him now a days !!!

He has started talking about Devi Maiyya (even if mimicking Khushi).. and she claims to have started writing her own destiny... like him !!!


But whatever games these two play, Arnav Singh Raizada will not tolerate anyone passing comments on his wife or any woman for that matter ! He makes sure the world knows who she is... Khushi Kumari Gupta... SINGH RAIZADA... His Wife !!!


Cut 2

Khushi wakes up, yet again dreaming about Arnav, but soon realizes the water and electricity of only their house has been cut by him ! The scene to note here was Amma and Buaji wanting to Khushi to go back to HER own house, as it is not good for a married woman to stay in her parent's house for so long after marriage !

Khushi is worried now... did she think about how she would break the news of leaving Arnav forever to her parents? Like Arnav, she doesn't think about consequences before her actions... and now that Amma and Buaji have raised their concerns, will that be a factor in making a decision by Khushi?

Points to Ponder:

• Rakhi preparations have started... For a bro-sis duo like Arnav and Anjali... Rakhi means a lot... Last year, Arnav brought Khushi back into the Raizada Mansion... for Anjali's sake ! Will this Rakhi bring in some new twist ?

• Anjali is getting calls on her mobile now... Seems like the snake has upgraded his system from Land-line to Mobile !😆

• NK is back !! 😍 Oh... he is back... !!!
  

• So, NK has noticed Anjali's Lie... Will he let it go... or will he pursue his doubt?

Arnav has made his next move... What will Khushi's reaction be? To know more... keep watching... Monday - Friday, sharp at 8 PM IST... Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?

we will start here from where we left yesterday,,the first day giving way to the second day..the first day saw..both arnav and khushi behaving like a partridge trying to build its nest in the dwarf pear tree..and the pear tree trying to dislocate the nest or the home..is it not what happened to arnav and khushi.. arnav is back in the raizada mansion during the end of the first day and the beginning of the second day..so what does the Christmas carol talk about the second day.Given below is the interpretation i posted in yesterday's and day before analysis


Two turtle doves,-Doves are a common symbol for love and peace, two Christmas themes. Turtle doves are a common species of dove found in France and England and they were often kept in cages as pets during the Middle Ages and earlier. There are a number of references to doves in the Bible. Turtle doves also migrate to warmer climates in winter and their re-appearance heralds the approach of spring. The turtle dove is species that mates for life, so the giving of two turtle doves could be a way the lover is expressing his intention of love and marriage.this doves in reality represents the testaments or the two doves in arnav's life.. that is the old testament being anjali and the new testament being khushi.. where old testament(anjali) being the foundation of the religion and the new testament being khushi which is his present ..so the balance between both gives the religion a peaceful existence..so what does this mean to the wooing?The Second Day of Christmas - Two Turtle Doves - The doves represent the Old and New Testaments, the two books that comprise the Holy Bible.Doves are known to mate for life. In Christianity, they represent the holy spirit as well as the Old and New Testaments. They also represent faithfulness, marriage and long-lasting love. That is why they get released at weddings


now let's connect this to the episode today's episode.. what was it all about today-it was about the house..and the two doves in arnav's life ..who fall back on their religion whenever in trouble..am i right?partridge(arnav)has been dislocated from the pear tree..he goes back to the RM to start the preparation of his second day with making anji happy..so now the old testament(anji)taken care of and the new testament(khushi) planned for the later time..arnav goes to sleep...but khushi does not allow him and the partridge is back into theGH in a new form..so what has khushi done so that arnav is back to him..she has challenged him with phone calls.goaded him with the lack of sleep,put in a spot with calling employees and lastly has played the same game arnav played..so arnav went back to khushi to pacify her..but happened there?once she went to sleep..did she allow arnav to leave..hell no..she caught hold of collar,caught hold of his hand..just didnt allow him to leave..so the subconscious of the dove telling her that arnav is her religion..he is the one for here..look at arnav,does he want to leave..no,no. he wants to stay..he stays with his dove and looks at her the first thing in the morning..she is like the book which he wants to view every night before he goes to sleep and wake up with in the morning..once they get up in the morning bot proudly proclaim each other to be their habit..i meant holding hands and wrapping herself around him during sleep..now that he has pacified his another dove..who is waiting for him at RM..anjail(the first dove)..his old testament..the foundations on which he grew..anjali looks out for arnav,the first thing in the morning..feels unhappy about not seeing him..but pacified when nani explains about GH wanting help..but is the dove all at peace..no,no not all..disturbance is around the corner with the phone call(looks like it shyam)..with rakhi around the corner and disturbance..arnav has to balance once more..


so secondly we come to the house..which is main area of focus in this episode..if it balancing the various aspects to life one area of focus..the second area of focus is to provide the essential needs to the spouse and extends it to her family..isnt it what arnav is doing..but is his wife accepting her rights..?No..so what is arnav doing here..creating situation whereby khushi accepts his overtures of a new life not only for herself but her family too..he buys the house where her family stays..he turns into the prince charming in her life..he tries to woo her by by showing that he cares for her family...is khushi accepting all this overtures?..oh..NO..isn't she KkGSR ..his equal in all respects?....what does she do here after the money for the previous day's work is given to khushi..he follows the same methodology he usually does but in a peaceful fashion and a big smile .. he challenges her(by increasing her rent ),goads her so she walks up to his new acquisition
(by asking her to stay in his house with him through his staff),puts her in a spot(by saying he would lock the house and bring her folks to the road)..and finally throws her to the brink where she reacts violently by throwing all his things in the office strewn around ..wow..isn't this the second day that the carol talks about..?that the partner provides everything that the spouse needs for her and isn't this what marriage is all about?isn't this what love is all about.. For this couple though there is bickering.there is this latent concern in that too.. they care about each other too much..so is arnav talking about new beginnings here, the marriage here and that too balancing the two important relationships here...so are we talking about the second day's carol about two doves and faithfulness, marriage and long-lasting love...even though arnav wants to achieve these through a different approach..Aren't we talking about the perfect case of role reversal..yes.. The readers and viewers do understand..am I right?


does khushi accepts al the gestures..ofcourse not..so arnav has started his third day's planningthe third day starts with her noticing that all the essentials in the house like water and electricity, are missing only in their house ..am I right?. what is arnav's plan of action and khushi's reply to that.. i will leave u with the hint about the third day with words from the Christmas carol.

on the third day of christmas my true love gave to me-Three French hens,-Chickens were domesticated in pre-historic times and have been a common barnyard animal for thousands of years. Since chickens were a common domesticated fowl it is only natural that they would be on the menu of great feasts.

Unlike some of the other birds in the song, chickens, being domesticated, would be readily available for an evening's feast. While game birds, like the partridge, would only be available on the menu if the day's hunt had been successful.so should i say it is the process Of domestication of khushi.. that is another step towards marriage..while the partridge cannot be caged and domesticated but the hen can be.. put arnav in the partridge's place and khushi in the hen's.. you will understand what i am talking about

i loved the episode.. it was perfect mix of love, emotions, anger n comedy...

so today the angel in me loved:
1.the first 5minutes of the episode- epic...!!😍 can love get more purer than tat? he asks her to sleep.. switches off the tv... cleans the table... wow... is that the same ASR we know?
2. the entire scene where her carries her to bed... tucks her in... n as usual when she doesn leave him... he also sleeps beside her ... in his fav position... holding her hands..😍... did u guys notice she also curls her fingers around his hands this time...wow ...

when she wakes up next to him in tat "tae kwon do" position😉.. she is shocked to see him... but she doesn mind it... infact they have a cute convo...
3.nani rakhi anji ... blah blah blah.. i m sure my other friends will be able to put better ROSHNI on than part...
i dint know i missed NK so much... nani was calling him nanhe today...😉
he is really a fresh hawa ka jhonka...😳
4. khushi turning into an ASR was fun to watch.. even asr was having fun watching her this way... n somewhere khushi knows he wont hurt her physically anymore.. so she throws around stuff.. n he is just amused...😳.. ASR in love guys... n r khushiji very well knows tat she can get away with anything now...😳
5. buaji amma n babuji... i love u guys... i don wan khushi to go back to RM bec i wan to see ya guys on a daily basis...

I liked today's episode more than yesterday's. Atleast today he's not treating her like a slave! But I am failing to understand Arnav Singh Raizada's way of wooing his wife back to his house. 😕

Hi guys, today I won't be writing bout our Laad Governor & his Sanka Devi.

Remember when Khushi was confronting him in yest episode, she asks, 'why r u smiling?', he says, 'coz u don't know what is going to happen in a few hrs!!!' That's the reason I'm not writing about them, I want to see what ASR has planned for tomorrow, as of now the picture for me is still incomplete''..

Today I'll write about everyone's bone of contention''.ANJALI'.

Who is Anjali? Is she a Singh Raizaada or a Manohar Jha??

With each passing day the confusion deepens''..

I always say, that a person's past shape their actions & reactions to their present & the future.

What is in Anjali's past? All we are aware, as of now, is:

1.Her & Arnav's parents are dead.

2.Either of their parents, prob, committed sucide.

3.All this happened on her 1^st wedding day.

4.Her wedding was broken.

5.She was prob 18 or 19 yrs old, ASR 15 or 16 yrs old.

6.Their uncle (chacha) threw them out of their home after their parents last rites.

7.Their nani took them in, & along with their mama & mami, have raised them.

8.They left their surname Malik in Lucknow & adopted their nani's surname, Singh Raizaada.

Remember a dialogue between ASR & Anjali, in the beginning of the serial, where Anjali is telling him to forget the past & move on, ASR replies back saying, 'I've forgotten the past, have u?' That's the question isn't it, has Anjali actually recovered from the traumas of the past to tackle the present & the future emotionally & mentally?

For anyone to have gone through what Arnav & Anjali have been through, it's not easy to pick up & move on, especially for a young woman on the cusp of her future, about to celebrate the happiest day of her life with her family & friends. How it must have affected her, what she must have gone through to handle her grief so that she could stand strong to be the mother to her younger brother.

12 yrs later'...

Anjali believes she is blessed, she has a loving family, a beloved hubby, & a caring younger brother, & now a baby on the way''. Her world is complete!!!

Then one fine day, all her happiness is torn away from her again, she finds out:

1.Her little brother was kidnapped & almost killed for the money, by her own husband.

2.The husband has been living a dual life, while being married to her, he's been lusting after another girl, who just happens to be her brother's wife.

Her dear brother throws out her beloved husband out of the house''..

How do you think she should react? Her husband's been thrown out of the house by her brother declaring that he believes his wife''.when her brother believes in his wife whats so wrong in her believing her husband?????

Has she been shown any proof of her husband's wrongdoings, given any explanations?? Nothing, so why should she just accept the words of a girl who she knows for a few months over a husband whom she has known & lived with for 3 yrs????

Even now everyone is focused on Anjali & how Shyam betrayed her & how it will affect her?? Has anyone stopped to ask her how she feels, has anyone given her some clear answers?? Initially she was too depressed, but now that she is well, what is everyone around her doing, treating her as a glass doll still, sweeping the great elephant under the rug''''..is it helping her??? No'It's probably feeding her illusion of her husband's rightness!!!

As we've seen, Anjali is the apple of everyone's eye at RM. Her happiness, her needs, is given priority by everyone!!!

I think because of her physical condition & what she had to face in her life, she has been wrapped up in love from the RM waasis & esp her 'chottey'.

If she's controlling in nature, it could be because that control has been handed over by the people in her life, willingly, initially maybe to ease her pain, make her feel a part of this family, but overtime it has become her nature!!!

Also, people who face severe trauma, where they feel they have lost control of their life, rebuild their life seeking control. They try to control situations, people, everything around them according to what they think is right'..overtime it can turn into manipulation.

Has she been overcompensating to keep her relations intact????

People have problem with her not respecting the fact that Arnav is married, when he himself never crossed that boundry'..

Firstly, Arnav is a guy, guys generally don't push themselves in their sisters lives, thats usually what girls do...😉

Secondly, who would teach Anjali these boundaries??? She's been married for 3 yrs but is still living at her mayeka, behaving exactly as before. If nobody has stopped her then, definitely nobody is going to stop her now...

Right now, when shez at her weakest emotionally, shez trying to rebuild her life, as she knew it, & as she knows how, for her she's doing it for the baby...It's her taking control over her life, wich was taken away from her the day her husband was thrown out of the house by her brother!!!! So, for Anjali, bringing back Shyam is justifiable!!!

I'd also like to add that during pregnancy the extra hormones swimming in your body do tend to affect you emotionally...

Also, she is ignoring Khushi...again this is about Anjali controlling the environment around her. She wants chottey in her life, always, her chottey wants Khushi...ok, chottey can have Khushi, she'll act accordingly as & when required, her chottey is happy so she is also happy...her reasoning, to her is simple!!!!
