Spice Girls Hangout:Made for each other!

At first watch it is a likable episode, second watch I loved it to bits. Again I kept expectations low as I knew nothing much would come from the precap given the fact we still had 12 days to go, there is still much more to be told before we reach that point.

Onto the episode, Bua and Garima see Khushi and Arnav had a nasty fall and are obviously concerned. Bua even offers to massage Arnav's back but Garima wisely realizes this is something that should be done by Khushi. Arnav's eyes lit up realizing the opportunity before him and he took full advantage of it by pretending to be in more pain.

Loved the bedroom scene, Arnav's what the is back!! I cannot remember the last time I heard him say that. So Arnav goes for the tease not once but twice setting Khushi's heartbeat racing. I figured he'd do something like this as he wouldn't go further until Khushi wholeheartedly accepts him as her husband. Until then he knows where to draw the line while evoking a strong reaction from Khushi who like you pointed out Sari yearns for more.

I didn't mind the gift wrapping scene, after all it is Khushi who refused his help and wanted to work for the money so he just found something for her to do while being mischievous in the process. He purposely hid the cup to make things a little more difficult for Khushi, but given what he's done to her in the past when they worked together this is nothing. At least at the end of the day Khushi can say she earned her money and kept her ego intact.

I have to say I was surprised that Arnav returned home but like that he tries to balance both his wife and his Di. While winning Khushi back remains his top priority, he did not forget Di. Taking some time out to let Di know he's still there for her does not hurt

The next scene was adorable, Arnav has really come to know Khushi well realizing she must be celebrating thinking he forgot. Loved the miss me bit when Khushi decided to call him to ruin his night, a little payback for earlier in the day. For these two its always about keeping things on a level playing field so it comes as no surprise that Khushi would attempt to get the upper hand after Arnav. Arnav has really changed, sure he got annoyed but was not angry and did you notice the DM mention when he asked Khushi earlier if she wished something bad hence the fall?

Ok so there is confusion to what Arnav's game plan is since these actions only seem to drive her further away, I don't think that is the case. Arnav has tried to be the prince charming and did try to get her to open up but that did not work, so he went back to being ASR the one who knows what makes Khushi tick. He is purposely pushing all the wrong buttons, my guess is to get her to finally speak her mind. Until then, there are still layers of her prince existing but layers Khushi cannot see. Earlier in the day some of us speculated Arnav is going to renovate the GH which is highly possible given Bua's dialogue about the leaky roof and career change as the new developer. He would not purchase this business for the hell of it, there is more to it.

Sari: Absolutely loved your post; this should be a must read for everyone on the forum today! What a wonderful positive take on the episode and i could not agree with you more on "made for each other"👍🏼

I liked the episode; the pace slowed down a little and the tom and jerry games continued but it was a decent continuation from Friday. The only thing that does not quite fit in is that ARHI are back to complete bickering mode at this stage in their relationship. A couple days is fine and i enjoyed today but if it gets stretched beyond that it will not fit with either Arnav who is supposedly doing all this to win her back, or Khushi who wants to distance herself from him.

That being said I loved the bed/massage scene; loved how they walked back to the room supporting each other, how he asked for her help in removing his shirt, how she taunted him that he is free to do whatever he likes in "his" 24 hours, how he pulls her close and playfully teases her, she apprehensively starts the message and he says she must have wished something bad happen to him and finally the super sexy flip and eyelock and his flicking her nose and saying "phir se laal ho gayi hai"😍 till Buaji does the honors of interrupting this time. Wonder how he figured out ki "Kushi ke haatho mein jaadu hai" and even complimented her when she barely massaged him for 5 secs😉

The episode kind of lost its grip a little after that; Arnav puts Khushi to work and is playfully enjoying troubling her. He just cannot stop smiling around her these days and Khushi despite her hardened exterior cannot get enough of his company. Loved the scotch tape scene and the gentle caress of her lips when she rips it off. More nok-jhok follows only to have ASR return to RM. I did not mind the Arnav-Anjali scene except the feeding each other the Kheer; it worked for me that he went to check on her and spent 10 minutes of the day with his sister who is lonely and depressed after spending the whole day trying not so successfully to woo his wife😆😆. Khushi seems to be responding well to the getting intimate ASR; today when he pulled her close she leaned in in anticipation before he flicked her nose and brought her out of it, she was clearly lost in him during the eyelock when he was above her on the bed reading her eyes and was flustered when he caressed her lips during the packing. Arnav is probably also playing on her attraction for him and trying to make her more comfortable without rushing her❤️👍🏼.

I'm not sure how ASR plans to win Khushi's heart by making her stay awake all night and annoying her, plus I don't get why Khushi has to keep calling him to irritate him and return to Swaami mode if she wants to distance herself from him. The scene which would have been really cute a few months back did not seem to fit in completely today; how sweet was the flustered Khushi though when Arnav asks her on phone if she was missing him😳. I get that they annoy each other and then comfort each other, in Barun's words and the nok-jhok is a big part of what makes ARHI, but I so want to see some maturity in their relationship now. The big positive I guess is Khushi's antics got ASR to come back to GH; so we may be in for some romantic action or maybe just some more nok-jhok before they share the bed but all they do is just sleep.

I'm not looking forward to the hideous outfit Khushi is wearing tomorrow and I really hope the whole taking over the developers office track and nok-jhok does not continue all week. Sure ASR has a plan where he wants to help the Gupta's but for the sanity of all it needs to be revealed to us even if Khushi is kept in the dark for sometime😉😉.

...and the games continue!

Another fun-filled episode! stayed true to the essence of the show and the characters. Thodi nok-jhok, thoda banter, thoda morance (love this word! thanks Doc), thoda drama and bohat sari masti. Vintage ASR and feisty Khushi with added twists! Everything that I fell in love with when the show started. Full of innuendos, double entendres and lots of good humor.

Arnav-Anjali: It was a genuine scene but seemed a bit disoriented probably because of glaringly obvious BDs. It is quite possible it was added as an after-thought for added drama or to please the TRP aunties. I'll give CVs a benefit of the doubt on this one - maybe the intention was to show Arnav balancing both his roles and be there for his Di. Him keeping his end of the bargain, his allegiance to the bro-sis bond. One thing still gets me though: regardless of how much she appreciates her chote being there for her, why is she masking her sadness? Her husband left a gaping hole in her life, why don't we get to see that? Has she accepted that her husband was a liar and cheat? If she has, where is the anger? Don't get me wrong, I am not asking for more rona dhona but merely stating what seems unnatural to me. Still on the fence with Anjali and like Lady J says, it is poking me in the ass!

ASR - KKGSR:
Today is just a continuation of what ASR set out to do on Thursday "Meray pass 12 din hain tumhara dil phir say jeetnay kay liye. 12 din jis kay bad tum hamesha hamesha kay lie KKGSR ho jao gi". This is a quest of ASR to get KKG to accept and acknowledge him and become KKGSR. It is about the acceptance and acknowledgment of haq! The very haq that he is throwing at her left, right and center and she is resisting. Only if she'd care to understand that resistance is futile! If you understand that it is about giving and receiving haq, you will clearly get the picture of what has been happening since the GH track started and more so since Friday.
Up until Friday, Arnavji was being a caring, concerned husband diligently doing his duty by helping his wife with her problems but to his dismay, Biwi's ego got the best of her and decided to refuse all the help. He told her it is your haq, use it but she throws it right back, it is your favor and I don't need it. What does he do? keeps her dignity and self-respect intact and lets her propose a deal but still keeps all the cards with him. She is not accepting what is rightfully hers and he is not taking no for an answer. So the solution to the problem - Deal or no Deal? I'll take the suitcase with 24K 😊
Bedroom scene - Gotta love Amma and Buaji for being the phangurls' savior and allowing for much anticipated bedroom morance. Besides the 'obvious ooh aah' moments, there was something very poignant, raw emotions and perplexities in the scene. From sad rabba vey to Khushi's plight and than added teasing from ASR which heightened Khushi's guilt. Not to mention the added catalyst - mention of DM and Di. And then there is the slight moment where Khushi is maybe willing to accept him and here comes Buaji! crashing their plans as well as stomping over the phangurls' dreamland 😆. Take away from the scene - claim your haq! it is right there. All you have to do is ask, reach, grab and accept!

Gift-wrapping scene - Another way of ASR to keep his end of the deal and maintain Khushi's self-respect. Loved how he snuck the teacup out of the box and asked her to repack all the gifts. All done in very ASRish way but with no harm intended. All in the hopes that she will crack and say, hum aap ki patni hain, hum yeh sub kiyon karain? But alas! she still doesn't get it. She wants to earn it, so be it. Notice how he is not asking her to stand in the rain and direct traffic, he is not asking her to stay at a guest house. She is wrapping gifts with a smile and he is sitting right behind her enjoying the view. Take away from the scene - claim your haq! it is right there. All you have to do is ask, reach, grab and accept!

Aaqa and his Kaneez - Sau sonar ki aik lohar ki! Or in this case Sau ASR ki aik KKGSR ki! Did he forget that he has met his soul mate? his equal in every respect. If ASR pounces, KKGSR lunges. What a welcome relief to see the feisty, flirty, firecracker Khushi back who is not going to put up with any of his shenanigans and give him right back! Now she is keeping her end of the deal. She is at his service for 24 hours and service it shall be, warranted or not. Did he expect she will call him? Of course he did. Did he expect she will stay up all night? of course he did. Now did he expect she will call him every hour? Part of me thinks he did. Also, did he expect she will call his employees? Probably not but it accomplished one goal - She called the manager and told him she was Mrs. KKGSR. Take away from the scene - claimed haq, unintentionally hi sahi!

I can see why people might be getting confused with ASR's actions and his end goal. I totally understand. The problem lies with execution. Unless one is able to understand the characters and pick up certain nuances, an in-the-face explanation is needed to justify a character's direction. Especially, if the story seems to appear disjointed. Perhaps a monologue or two from ASR can do some good for the audience. But everything that is being shown is very much in character for ASR and Khushi. Their relationship thrives on nok-jhok, challenges and deals. He asked her to stay up all night and work, she put juice in his shoes. He threatened to cut her salary, she changed his ringtone. Kuch yaad aaya? Why should things be different now? He is not physically hurting her. He is not asking her to do any laborious work. She is not being submissive either. If she does the job, it comes with its share of taunts, undertones and much needed sarcasm. They are two sides of the same coin. Another thing which might be confusing is the involvement of the Gupta household and the money angle. Why is he playing with the whole family? But is he? Notice their conversations, she never once said "aap humaray ghar walon kay saath aisa kaisay kar saktay hain?", neither has he mentioned "tumharay ghar walon ko ghar khali karna paday ga", at least not yet. That might change, but for now that has not been brought up. It is the ultimate battle of the egos, both want the other to be happy but they don't realize it is their happiness together.

Enjoy these light-hearted episodes guys because good days are too rare and too short in IPK. As the wise Vee says 'kya pata kal ho na ho!'.

Hola peeps!!!

One scene that triggered it all was Garima sending Khushi to go and complete her wifely 'duties'. How I love the Guptas more than the Raizadas! :-)

Rabba Ve lovely ladies! What an epi! Or maybe what I'm trying to say is what was that epi?😆 It seems the CVs are trying to see if 15+ mins of Arhi in cutesy bickering mode with some pimping of male lead will help to spike the trps so that they can then go back to the drama. And I'm ready to play along for a couple of epis

On that note, a cute-ish epi. The catch- fall rabba ve ->back massage ->bed flip sequence was given fairly generous footage considering nothing was ever destined to happen and turns out these two don't really need no help from the Arhi ecosystem to be interrupted. ASR himself doesn't plan to take this any further. Yet. Can I say I'm glad? At this point going any further could seriously backfire for him considering Khushi is still somewhat in the main aapko pati nahin manti stage despite having lost the challenge.

Loved Amma again today- she seems to be a rather fun character who again understood that Arnav was understandably averse to a chiropractic session with Buaji. When Khushi was volunteered, loved Arnav's naughty gleam, overplayed groan and super quick agreement for a back massage.

Super cute to see Arnav do Khushi speak- Hey Devi Maiyya accha kiya jo Arnavji ko unke kiye ki saza di. Aww he does know sanka devi and her language really well😍. Khushi's reactions were somewhat confusing but assume she was sad that he thought she would be pleased to see him hurt. The bed flip showed him that she wasn't as unaffected as she was pretending to be😳

Turns out Khushi and Arnav have another thing in common apart from their ego- inability to come up with a robust plan. If Khushi did not think through her plan of leaving RM, Arnav seems to have upped the game by being completely unprepared for what he wants Khushi to do in those 24 hours or even how all of this will bring her closer to him.

And so in a rather inane move he asks her to pack, unpack and re-pack some gifts while he tries to pretend reading a book but in effect is busy ogling his lovely wife. The first round of wrapping was to be done in 50 mins. while the second round was allowed 9 hours- umm come again? Yeah I remember no trespassing by logic allowed. BS and SI were cute though as the harried biwi and chilled out lovestruck hubby⭐️ and as always they make any scene worthwhile

Arnav goes back to RM to spend some time with his Di and I thought it was rather nice to see him trying to strike a balance between his two priorities. Also considering he is lying by omission by not mentioning that Buaji is in fact fine, this was probably his way of assuaging his guilt a little. It doesn't have to be that one or the other between wife and sister is more important for him; showing him trying to make both coexist in their own space would be a nice take- tad idealistic but nice nevertheless.

Asking Khushi to stay up the night in case he needs anything while he tries to chase away those dark circles seemed like another strange idea. I liked the first time she called him though when he hadn't yet caught on to her plans and asked rather eagerly if she missed him. 😍

Ah but sanka devi isn't called that for nothing. So she decides to make life hell for him in her own way and pretty much succeeds as he gives up trying to sleep and comes back to GH. Good going Khushi! Except this boss from hell is also the hubby and hawt to boot so this hopefully isn't going to be easy..

CVs if you are going somewhere with this track, right about now would be a good time to let us and Arnav know as both are currently sorta enjoying the ride but rather clueless about the destination and how to get to it.
