If she was planning to return the money ASR has so magnanimously given. she should have opened her mouth and said something.she has a bad habit of opening her mouth when she should be shutting up,like coming in between Aakash ans Payal.and shutting her mouth when she should be opening like not telling Shyam's treachery to anyone until it was too late.When she knew that ASR has taken the money back,why did she go to him? where is her self respect then? just to tell him hum sambhallenge?to let him know she was planning to return the money in due course?it is a huge amount .when he asked help chahiye mujhse? why didn't she say yes?it is false ego.now she will be forced to go back to him only because it is a huge amount and given her financial condition she will not be able to cough up that amount in 24 hours.So I still maintain this problem she is having to deal with is beyond her control and she should be showing enough maturity to deal with it,not childishly rejecting help from her so called husband.If and when her plan fails and everyone is thrown out in the streets(which will never happen bcoz of mighty ASR)fingers will be pointed at her ,since she knew about it and she will be hurt once again.I hate to see her in that condition.she has been there so many times...
You are missing the point of this character -- they are showing a girl with a strong pride. Let me give you a feel for the character and why what you said does not work for her!
1. You said she should have gone to elders -- I dont know if you have experience in taking the responsibilities of a middle/lower middle class families in India but the elders dont have much to say. Her father is in a wheel chair, her Bua is a widow and her mother does nothing. So, if one is someone that takes responsibility -- like Khushi does -- she has nothing to expect from these guys. Remember she paid for their expenses when she took that thing to train Lavanya.
By the way dont react to "I dont know if you have experience in taking responsibilities .." line above -- I just said it because I dont know you -- not to challenge you in anyway shape or form.
2. Now why does she go to ASR? This is the pride and love factor -- she wants the guy to say certain things. She is in love with him and she believes that it is his responsibility to protect her EGO. What is true and false in matters of heart??? She expects him to act a certain way is the underlying meaning. I dont know if you noticed this -- irrespective of how much you yell at your fav person, when in tough times you go to them directly first -- it is an auto drive mode thing -- no choice there. This childishness is what makes her character special. She is defiant and she wants ASR to protect her EGO by offering to help without making it sound like a HUGE FAVOR -- people learn to do this for family members as we grow up. What he did in today's episode is also correct -- he will in the future after he knows that she TRUSTS him.
So, this is NOT really her fault. It is the way she is as a person and given all the great qualities she has, it is something that is worth protecting at any cost -- ASR is capable of doing that for her. That is what she is looking for from him.
Now on "protecting ego thing" -- here is an example -- I have a friend whose Maternal Grand Mother needs some financial help. But she is old fashioned, she will not take money from her grand children because she wants her sons to do the work. Those idiots dont want to give her the money she needs to feel secure. So, what did my friend do, he sent her money through one of her sons and made it money coming for one of her sons. The actual goal was accomplished and her ego is still intact that her Sons are taking care of her -- a matter of pride in India.
3. For the question -- why didnt she think the whole thing through -- it has been 24 hours and she just landed in that house and this is the first phone call she got!!! What is she going think through? She reacted first. We cannot do "hind sight is 20-20" thing here. It is only a matter of few hours that passed between the time she landed home and this fiasco started.
So please dont "hyper judge" the character -- no one said she is "PERFECT" from an "INTELLECTUAL" stand point. No one is expecting that from her. For the viewers she is PERFECT FROM A HEART stand point -- she has a heart of gold and it is worth keeping it that way at any cost.
