Q: How has the response been so far to the show and to you?A: Superb. Simply amazing. Q: That must make you very happy?A: Very happy. The show is doing well. Also, basically I am a happy-go- lucky person. So, no complaints. Q: You look like you really enjoy playing Ananya?A: Completely. Ananya is so much like me. She is so loving and caring, modern at the same time as well as very Indian. She is a perfect mix. That makes it easier for me to play her because I am a lot like her. Q: What do you like most about Ananya?A: She is so well balanced. It's so important. Q: You ride a bike in the serial. Are you into bikes in real life?A: No, I am not a bike person. I think it's more of a boy thing. But in the show I love my bike. It's cool. Q: Coming to your looks, what is your chief asset?A: I think my eyes and my smile. Definitely not my nose (laughs). Q: Do you watch television?A: No, not at all. No time. I do try and catch up my episodes when at home. Q: You have done lot of commercials - Clearasil, Johnson soap, Pantene, Sangini Diamonds, etc., so which do you prefer - acting or modelling?A: Little bit of both. Q: If you were not an actress what would you have liked to be?A: I have studied microbiology. So I would be doing biogenetics and then specialise further, do a Ph.D. may be. Q: Why are you appearing in just one show?A: I play the protagonist of a prime time daily. So I am happy with that. Also, there is no time although I do get a lot of offers. Q: What next?A: Don't know.
Q: Tell us your philosophy of life?A: Keep it simple. Keep it balanced
