Deepika wants to steal Bhansalis Ram Leela from PC - Page 5

The merry-go-round continues for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's leading lady in his much-cherished project Ram Leela. Just when it seemed like the search had ended with Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone's name emerged creating quite a few ripples. But now it seems even Deepika isn't doing the film.

Deepika, says our source, had no idea about the film and was very surprised to hear the news. More so because her hands are already full with films like Race 2, Kochadiyaan and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. "Where are the dates?" exclaims a friend of the actress, adding, Deepika hasn't received any feelers from the director either. "She is yet to hear from Bhansali's office," the friend continues.

When contacted, Deepika maintained a diplomatic stance. She said, "I have grown up watching his movies. It would be every actor's dream to work with Sanjayji. He presents his heroines so wonderfully in his films." But what if the film does fall in her lap, would Dippy be game for it? "Of course yes, something would work out for sure. But as of now, no one has approached me and there is absolutely no progress," she adds.
