OS- Our World
Arnav walked up to his room carrying a large tub of cookies and cream ice cream, 'this would definitely make Khushi forgive me for missing lunch' he taught to himself. He stood outside the room astonished to listen to the loud music that was blasting through even though the doors were closed. He slowly pushed open the door and peeped inside to be met with a sight never seen before, one that made him want to pinch himself to know if he was dreaming.

Arnav stood astounded as he watched Khushi and his little angel jump and bounce across the room moving to the music, he stood with his mouth wide open when he saw Khushi shake her hips and squeal in a funny voice, she looked crazy, he couldn't help smile gently seeing Riya trying to move to the beats holding Khushi's fingers in her tiny palms. He leaned against the doorway trying to paint this crazy scene in his memory, his little family was surely different in a wonderful way.
Arnav held the door tightly to prevent himself from falling to the floor and laughing out loudly seeing Riya bounce on her tiny feet squealing in her loud high pitched voice, trying to join her mother in singing 'I ike u moviee moviee, I ike u moviee moviee, eee ike u moviee!' she moved around Khushi, imitating King Julian's epic moves. Khushi lifted Riya up and the two were soon scurrying across the room noisily, surprisingly not breaking anything, laughter and the crazy music intermingled painting a different world from what Arnav had known once. He smiled adoringly as they collapsed on bed tickling each other and laughing out loud as the song ended.
Riya was the one to spot him first 'Dada!' she squealed, jumped off the bed and ran up to him, Arnav pulled her up in his arms and kissed her cheek 'How's my little angel doing?' he asked her lovingly not missing the anger still lurking in Khushi's eyes. ' Mama angiee wi you' Riya replied with wide eyes and pointed to Khushi. Arnav smiled and walked up to Khushi, 'Hey' he said as she tried moving away, 'Your Mama is not talking to me' Arnav pouted and complained to his little daughter.
Khushi just glared at him and muttered to herself 'Laad Governor does not even have time to have lunch with his wife, Rakshas!' Riya looked innocently at a smiling Arnav and an angry Khushi and then patted Arnav's cheeks with her little hands to grab his attention 'Dada sowiee' she said ,her wide hazel eyes so much like her mothers, he couldn't help but laugh at how adorable she looked.
'Okay Okay I'll say sorry to Mama' he said laughing quietly at how crazy his world was ' Ask her if she wants to see the sorry gift' Arnav said loudly so that Khushi won't miss it. He knew he had her attention when she turned slowly and then continued setting Riya's cot. 'Surpiseee!' Riya squealed and looked around to find something, Arnav bent down slightly to pick up the large tub of ice cream and then slowly walked up to Khushi.
He placed the cool pack against her skin to make her turn around and look at him angrily, he placed Riya inside the cot and then bent down and whispered in Khushi's ear 'Sorry love, won't happen again' he said softly with that puppy dog expression that he had mastered very soon. He brought the tub up and observed how her eyes lit up and the corners of her mouth lifted in a slight happy smile.
She smiled at him and said 'Okay I forgive you, but next time you can't bribe me with cookies and cream' she said warningly and grabbed the container. 'Mama I want' Riya said pulling at Khushi's sleeve ' Yes my darling' Khushi sing songed happily and pulled Riya out of the cot, she sat down with Riya on the bed and leaned against the headboard and placed the container before her, pulling out three spoons.
Khushi pulled Arnav down as well and leaned into him and opened the container, the three of them dug into the delicious ice cream, moaning at its silkiness and Riya squealing with joy and yelling 'Yummy Yummy' while Arnav and Khushi giggled at how adorable their daughter was and smiled at the perfectness of their world , Khushi wiped Riya's mouth and whispered ' Time for bed sweety' after an hour of hogging ice cream endless giggles, baby talking, teasing and tickling. Riya kissed them goodnight and fell asleep without a fuss, drifting into a colourful world of walking gummy bears and giant ice cream buckets.
'So Mr Raizada your late for dinner too, do you have a gift for that as well' Khushi asked with a naughty smile. Arnav smiled at her and pulled her close 'Anything you want love' and kissed her softly, Khushi wrapped her arms around him and pushed herself closer, 'Oh and I loved the dance' he said with a slight laugh and then resumed kissing her when she punched him slightly and punished his lips with a slight blush creeping up her cheeks. He made her world so happy, together they had painted a world for themselves where there was place for everything anger, making up, stupid fights, loving nights and wonderful moments like these where the true joy of having a little family like theirs overflowed and engulfed them in love and warmth.
Okay this one did not exactly turn out the way I wanted it too, but well I don't know I think it's the laziness and tests that have made my brain numb.
