*Love After Many Sights*Last Chap(page 6)

It wasn't love at first sight. In fact, she didn't think much of him when she first laid eyes on him. She didn't think much during the second time either. But after a few more sightings, she didn't know what to think.

"Kriya! Oh My Gosh! You just wouldn't believe what, or rather, who I saw today!" My best friend Sharon exclaimed. Her curls bouncing, as she jumped up and down in excitement.

I smiled, "If you don't think I'm going to believe it, then why bother telling me?" I tilted my head and gave her an innocent stare.

She rolled her eyes at me and my antics. "Well, I'm going to tell you anyways." She paused, probably for dramatic effect. "I just saw, the most gorgeous guy . I shook my head amused. Leave it up to Sharon to make a big deal about a cute guy. I love her to death but sometimes she's just too boy crazy for her own good. Suddenly she let out a noise that was half a gasp and half a squeal, "Look, he's coming down the hall." I suddenly noticed that silence filled the hall. I finally turned away from Sharon to see the person she was making such a big deal about.

I studied him curiously as he gracefully loped down the hall. I guess Sharon wasn't far off the mark when she called him gorgeous. There was this graceful air about him. He had black hair that went to his shoulders, with bangs that slightly covered one of his eyes. His lips formed a slight smirk as he noticed the attention he was receiving. He caught my eyes for a second and continued walking down the hallway out of sight.

Sharon was looking at me with questioning eyes "What?" I asked.

She shook her head, "Well?"

I gave her a shrug and told her, "I guess he's cute." She gaped at me, her mouth slightly parted in shock and disbelief. I rolled my eyes, "Sharon, really, he's just another guy." He really was just another guy. From that smirk he had on, he was probably an arrogant one too. Besides, it's not like I'm actually going to really meet him.

I entered the cafeteria and spotted Sharon sitting with her twin brother. As approached the table, I noticed that there was a new addition to the table. And guess who it was? The new guy. Yup, life was that predictable. I started approaching the table more hesitantly and when I got there, Sharon gave me a smile. "Where were you earlier? She said while ruffling her brother's hair. He pouted playfully, while I laughed at the twin's antics.

"Sorry," I said vaguely, "I just got held up." Sharon gave an understanding nod.

Rohan, Sharon's brother then cleared his throat and said, "Kriya, this is Rey. Rey this is Kriya." We gave each other polite nods before he returned to his lunch. I then turned my attention to Sharon and started a conversation. We didn't speak the rest of lunch, and at the time, I didn't really care.

The next day, I found myself getting to college earlier than usual. I decided to make use of my time and sat under a tree. I took out my sketchpad and pencil as I looked around trying to decide what to draw. I looked towards another tree right in front of me. At first sight, it was just another tree. Sure, it was beautiful in its own way, but it was still just a tree. But as I looked closer, I noticed the little things that made it distinct. It was bushier than most of the trees around it, it was definitely bigger. Only a few branches could be seen, the rest were covered by its leaves. Leaves that had the richest shade of green I had ever seen. Automatically, my hand flew across the sketch book. I was working intently trying to capture every detail of the tree.

I was done after twenty minutes and stared intently at my work. I suddenly heard rustling and there was a soft thud on the ground next to me. My eyes widened in shock as I saw Rey there, smiling at me. "What the hell!" I yelled, scooting away from him in reflex. "Are you trying to give me a heart attack? Seriously, who the hell jumps out of trees out of nowhere? What are you? A wannabe Tarzan?"

He just merely gave me an amused smile, "I saw your drawing from up there... it was pretty good."

I stared at him blankly, "That's it? That's all you have to say about hiding out in the tree, giving me a heart attack, and scaring me half to death." I looked at him suspiciously, "Were you spying on me?"

"Yes," he deadpanned. "I'm psychic too so I knew you would be here."

I rolled my eyes and made a face at his sarcasm, "What were you doing up there in the first place?"

"Nothing you'd be interested in," he said, patting my head.

I scowled, annoyed, I hated it when people did that. "Whatever," I grumbled, "I'm so out of here." I left, muttering angrily about how idiotic guys were. I glanced back to see Rey staring intently at me. When he saw me looking, he gave me a smile and wave. For some reason, this only made me more irritated. I continued marching down towards the college. That stupid idiot...
