Finally, an answer to my question...scrap the whole sequence of Nidhi telling Ashu that Mallika is faking...so I respectfully withdraw the question...and good that Nidhi chose to let Ashu live in his world of delusion...like they say, you can wake up those asleep but not the ones that are pretending...like Nidhi thought to herself, Ashu se ab kuch kehna hi bekaar! He is the self appointed judge and jury and he has already passed his verdict!
