What a beautiful title GS!!! Totally in line with the episode. Brilliant crooner doing justice to the beautiful scene we were given๐Ÿ‘. I agree with you on every single note there. When two hearts become intrinsically a whole, a rhapsody becomes a part of them; they sense each other's presence through it and nothing else matters. A calling of the soul. Ever Present. Ever Lasting. Wow!!! this blew me off completely. I so agree with you, the first ten minutes of the show was sheer brilliance. It was beautiful beyond words.๐Ÿ˜ณ Just love the pics you have put up!!! Its beautiful!

I haven't recovered from that scene and I don't think I will recover anytime soon. I don't think my words can do justice to the scene. I have lost count on the number of times I have watched it and every time the scene evoked the same reactions from me. I am yet to gather myself after watching Arnav trying his best to revive Khushi.

The first thing that struck him was that she wasn't holding on to him unlike the previous two fainting spells. His immediate reassurance to her that both of them were fine was so heart wrenching. I had a lump in my throat when I saw his desperation. No one can miss feeling the pain he went through. I get goosebumps even now when I think of Arnav's reaction...how he tried to wake her up. He tried yelling at her...it didnt work. He tried CPR...it didnt work. When nothing was working her dialogues from the heer ranjha act were coming back to him. Then he recalls her "Hum bhi ek taara ban jayenge"!! He always associated the stars with his dead mother and Khushi could not become a star. No, that could not happen. He did not want his worst fears to come true. As you said, it was the dil ki dhadkan that did the talking. "Hamari dhadkan ek ho jati hai". The union of the two souls could not have been any better. My heart melted when his face broke into a smile when he saw her awake. He pulled her towards himself and hugged her tight. Total awwwable moment. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜

Uff those hugs and kisses have sent me to heaven yaar...the SBS segments were nothing compared to what we saw. It was mind blowing!!! Just loved the way, he smiled when she held on to his banyaan. He put her dupatta back on her and carried her away. Loved how Devi Maiyya was a witness to this reunion. A beautiful touch by the director.

Hats off to Sobti boy for an absolutely outstanding performance. He is by far the best we have on TV today. The first ten minutes belonged to him in the true sense. Sanaya pitched in perfectly as my heart went out to both of them. Two absolutely fantastic actors we have!!!!

Khushi did a great job by telling the truth to Arnav. I knew Arnav was clueless about the kidnapper and he was shocked when she told who was responsible. Khushi will have to show the family proofs and I am afraid she will not have any because her purse and her phone are missing. She probably has only the divorce papers which are not going to help her in anyway. The only saviour could be the hard copy of the will that Shyaam has safely hidden under the cradle. That will be the proof that will go against Shyaam. Either Anjali will find it unless our lakshmiji decides to redeem herself before that. Since there are no proofs, the only way for the family to believe Shyaam's truth is to listen to the confession from the horse's mouth. Arnav and Khushi could plot a plan in such a way that Shyaam will gloat and confess to his misdoings like a fool. That is when he will get the best dhulaai of his life from ASR (I hope my prediction comes true at least this time๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†). I agree with you GS, Arnav and Khusi have come up with some plan otherwise both of them wouldn't have entered separately.

Finally, the family finds out about Arnav's kidnapping. What was with Shyaam's reaction? His performance fell flat!!! Shouldnt he be shocked and scared that Arnav is alive and Khushi knows about his plans???? His reaction was anything but that! He may not have wanted the family to know but I felt his expressions were not up to the mark. Shyaam needs to buck up. We cant have the villain with unconvincing expressions at this juncture of the story!!!!

Mami was the true mother who went running to hug Arnav. It was so nice to see mami so emotional on seeing her son return. It will be very difficult for her to take sides. She will definitely do her own investigation to find out Shyaam's truth.

Anjali was shocked. She doesnt want to confront her husband. You are so right yaar! Anjali is like the three monkeys. Not wanting to speak, hear or say anything. She is still clinging on to her cocoon. Waiting to see how she reacts to the revelation tomorrow. Daljeet was bang on with her expressions!! The black queen has taken a place! I just loved the way she tried to connect the dots when she saw an injured Khushi but she was taken aback when Arnav made an entry. Her chotte takes priority!

Other points -

  • Arnav entered in his banyaan ๐Ÿ˜†. Finally, the end of my baniyan worries ๐Ÿ˜†. Just loved the way he entered in style and stood at the door step...typical ASR style ๐Ÿ˜Ž
  • Rocky kiddo ne aakhir haar maan hi liya. Couldnt he have said the same thing when Arhi escaped the first time ๐Ÿ˜ก
  • Cant wait for the tan de tan chaanta.

So much happened in the episode...phew!! still reeling from the episode. I have no clue if I am making sense because my heart rate isnt normal anymore. The only thing I notice is that this post is super long ๐Ÿ˜•

Loved the crooner, Anjali! The title and the first pic defines the episode completely. Rhapsody - What a beautiful word! When there's the union of souls, the heart sings its own melody, connecting and bounding the souls forever.

The initial 10 mins is what the epi was all about for me. My brain is yet to register the rest of it. I've literally abused my phone watching the first half again and again. LOVED LOVED LOVED those few mins of ArHi reunion.
It has always been about the moments and gestures which define the life story of this couple. Every little moment or gesture has a story to tell of its own. And that's what I loved in the re-union. CVs have always managed to deliver some poignant FBs which just takes the scene to another level altogether.

Even in an unconcious state, Khushi always use to cling to Arnav's shirt. The absence of that hold had the man reeling, making him realise the depth/seriousness of the situation. What followed then was a heart wrenching sequence. My heart went out to the man making desperate attempts to revive the reason for his being. He commanded, he pleaded, he cajoled, he begged and did everything possible under the sun to make his wife concious. Her memories, the only thing reminding him of the worst possible scenario. Shunning them, also gave him the strength to fight with new fervour.

"Hamari dhadkanein... Ek ho jaati hain"

My heart melted at this scene. Two souls connected through their heart beats... If one's heart is beating, the other's just cannot stop. Such a beautiful concoction of the past 'dhak dhak' moment of Holi to today. The relief on Arnav's face after hearing that "hmmm.." and the smile that followed was to die for. Words would fail to describe the EPIC moment where Arnav holds onto Khushi for his dear life. The overwhelming happiness on getting her back after almost loosing her so evident on his face. And then the man lifts his woman and takes the journey of love, trust and togetherness.

Two shots which I loved the most - First, the smile on Arnav's face when Khushi holds his vest and second, the DM temple in the backdrop when Arnav walks away with Khushi.

Take a bow, Barun Sobti! You are a competition to yourself. Such a flawless performance and beautiful portrayal of Arnav's emotions. Sanaya, you shined through all those intense eye locks. Both of you compliment each other in every way. Lastly, Kudos to the entire IPK team. Scenes like these don't come everyday.

The King is back in his den and the duo have a plan. Very excited about the track...

PS - Thank you Anjali for putting up the post every night and giving a space for the discussion. No excuses but only apologies from my side to everyone for missing from this place. I love reading everyone's post. :))

"Ever has it been that love knows not its own depth until the hour of separation."
? Khalil Gibran

Anjali... Absolutely Brilliant Crooner dear. Rhapsody..Sure it is..

Generally, it is difficult for me to express my feelings that too through words. So you can imagine my condition after such a beautiful episode. I am spellbound.

Hats off to the person who wrote that "hand clutching the vest" scene. It was beautiful. You could feel the love the writer has for his babies (characters). GH, I bow down before you for creating such a beautiful character named Arnav.
And Mr.King...YOU ARE THE BEST..PERIOD..

Every love story will have such moments-moments when you realize the meaning of love. But to depict that on screen with such conviction that you go and hug your loved one, you feel like letting them know how much you love them, needs SKILL. BS, AK and the IPK crew team, you showed the world - the difference between IPK and others - The Class.

I don't want to talk about anything else, but those 10 mints, because i am a hopeless romantic at heart.

There's no love, like your love.
And no other, could give more love.
There's nowhere - unless you're there.
All the time all the way.
Everything I do, I do it for you.

She surpassed everything that was thrown at her by destiny, to reach him. He also had to fight a long battle, first the heart vs mind and then the evil ones. And then he found her. His eyes lit up, he knew that she was there for him, only and only for him. He called her, she is not responding-he lifted her, she is not holding on to his shoulder as she always did, a response which assured him that she trusts him. He can fight any battle for her, he wants to give her back everything that he robbed her off, he wants her to know how much he loves her, but she needs to breath, she needs to talk to him. He remembered her words, he can't let that happen, she must wake up for him. He cried, shouted, begged to open her eyes and did everything that he can do to make her breath, but...
He remembered their "Dhadkan" conversation. He held her close to his heart that beats for her, she could hear it, she could feel it, she responded. His eyes said it all- the relief, the happiness, the love, the care. He hugged, he kissed her, he lifted her- her hand was back to his shoulder, it assured him, everything is back to normal. He walked back to their new life with her safe in his hands, to fight the new battles together..

PS: I am sorry for the grammatical and spelling mistakes...

Hi All!Today I dont have anything to say.Coz everytime i watch the first half of the episode by the time Khushi revives,i myself feel a desperate need of CPR.
An outstanding and brilliant performance by Barun Sobti.Looks like the king is hell bent on breaking his own record.
Brilliant potrayal of panic when Arnav realizes that khushi is not clutching his vest making him feel something is wrong, his denial during his desperate attempts to revive her and his utter grief as the realization hits him that his happines, his Khushi is not responding to his commands, and with Khushi's first breath came Arnav's happines and smile itself.Especialy after watching Khushi clutching his vest.
Arnav's heartbeat calling Khushi and Khushi did respond did send me to unconsciousness i myself needed CPR.
A lethal storm brewing up in RM.But I am glad Arnav decides to support Khushi.
Cant say more as i still have not regained my senses completely.

The IPK team has managed something spectacular methinks - I am completely speechless to be honest! Bade josh mein aake reserve toh kar liya but I don't even know what to write here!

Can I just say how much I loved the first half of the episode - rhapsody indeed! It moved me to the core of my very being. It threaded together so many things which I love about this show, which make this show what it is and which make us love Arnav and Khushi. My favourite Heer Ranjha which we were talking about just yesterday, Holi, every moment when she held onto his shirt, everything brought out so vividly - and with yesterday's marriage rewind - just brought out brilliantly well.

Barun Sobti - Arnav Singh Raizada - I don't know which one I am more in love with currently. The emotions, the pathos, the helplessness, the wretchedness, the utter relief when she wakes up - oh so well done! Sanaya, her expressions, her body language, her eyes - wow! So beauiful! And Anjali, you have described every word so beautifully here - it was truly a sense of oneness that they brought out, because after this you can't imagine them separating or having a misunderstanding!

I was honestly also stunned by how quickly everything progressed after that - I will probably digest it all only after today's episode. For now though it looks like a rift - and what each person's reaction is going to be - Payal, Mami, Akash, Anjali, Shyam, Naniji, NK - and of course Arnav and Khushi. Our chess board is set up, and the game is about to begin in true earnest! I am very interested in the lives of all three couples now - Arnav & Khushi, Anjali & Shyam and Akash & Payal. What twists will life take for them?

But I was so thrilled about one thing - how Arnav asked Khushi for proof to prove only to others, never questioning what she was saying - their souls are truly one - truly in harmony, to draw upon the musical theme.

I was also so glad to see the posts on the forum about how they now understand why IPK is such a special show - it took something drastic to do it but I'm really happy that people realise. It's not easy to bring a show like this to TV, and kudos to the PH and CVs who bring us the show!

Sorry for such a short and sadela post - not keeping too well, and also lost somewhere since last night's episode! But I am waiting for bated breath once again to see how this is going to progress!

P.S. So happy Priya is back tonight! Back in good time for all the dhamaka looks like! And Anjali! ๐Ÿค— Loved your posts - superbly written in your completely inimitable style!

"Every parting gives a foretaste of death, every reunion a hint of the resurrection."

Anjali...
Waiting to read the Crooner but have a really early morning tomorrow with absolutely no breaks till evening.. so not sure if I can update tomorrow. So sorry to update before your crooner is up!
A Brilliant.. brilliant title...
Love it... it was indeed a Rhapsody... a fluid poetry... that made my soul sing... A song so beautiful that it made me cry and grin like a demented moron at the same time!
There is so much to touch on today's episode, that it is not possible for someone with limited intellect as mine to do justice to it. I KNOW you and the rest of the crooner buddies will cover it ๐Ÿ˜ƒ.
But I cannot sign off without a few points under My Gush Fest (And with an exhibition of self control that my parents would be thrilled with ๐Ÿ˜›... I will try and stay clear from Arnavji and Khushi ๐Ÿค”)
Gautam Hegde and screenplay - (Dont tell me you are surprised ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜›) I dont who deserves credit for the clutching of Vest scene ๐Ÿ˜‰... But that was a brilliant touch... incredible way to capture a part of their journey. The way certain conversations were bought forth and tied back... GH... You are The Man of the Moment!
CPR - Not for the obvious gutterlicious reasons..but for pushing new boundaries on television. I dont know if it has done on Indian TV before... but I can't imagine a more aesthetically shot CPR!
Arshad Khan & Direction - Every frame was perfect ( I was a little disappointed with Editing in 1 or 2 scenes.. but thats when I am being overly critical). He did a splendid ... splendid job. Great shots.. Perfect Execution! That long shot with the Temple behind them when he finally carries her to take her home - A beautiful touch... I couldnt have imagined it so perfectly.
Actors in RM - Except for Akash, I thought each one portrayed their emotions perfectly. Anything I say for Mamiji will be less - exceptional Acting. Anjali's restraint even when she sees a hurt Khushi... DB will rock whatever new track is thrown at her.
Music Dept - The 1st part of episode.. they were gorgeous...but they retained the pace even during the scenes in RM.. not such an easy task.
...
If my brain was not in such Slushy state... I would try and write about the pain of loss, the panic, the admission of acknowledging gestures by his Khushi that he never knew he noticed... the need to be in control, the anger at his own helplessness...the belief that one's soul cannot leave him bereft like this... the cry from the dregs of his core.
But how... how do I write about what I felt?
The Agony, the silent prayer for her & him... THEM, the relief at his expressed love, the shivers at his cry, the beauty of him embracing her, his craving to breathe life back into her... the tenderness of the kiss on the forehead... the thrill of the kiss on the palm... the disbelief and pride at the CPR... the heart stopping reunited heartbeats...the Ecstasy at them being finally together... A tiny hint of resurrection of my joyous soul...A Mesmerizing Moment!!
I sighed with deep contentment when he placed her duppatta back on her... the 1st time...till now he never believed he had the right!!
Khushi didnt just clutch his vest when he finally picked her up... They clutched my heart and held it there through out! As he smiled at her... and she looked at him in awe... I inhaled again...
When the hut scene had been aired... it was a full moon night, I remember mentioning that in the Crooner.
I think it's purnima tonight too... the moonbeams are here again to fill our lives with tender light. A gorgeous and beautiful and serene night... when lovers should meet. And they did just that!
A perfect Rhapsody of the Soul!

๐Ÿ˜ƒ...๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜...dont know what happened but i think i am in heaven...๐Ÿ˜

the scene which has stayed with me is the smile on his face when she holds onto his vest as he is lifting her & him draping her dupatta...๐Ÿ˜..indicating he is her protector..he will restore her dignity...

My brain is not functioning well...๐Ÿ˜‰...awesome performance by Sobti boy...๐Ÿ‘...his dialogues were perfect...that gaze so full of love turned on Khushi was WOW...!

The direction was beautiful...all those FBs were spot on...!

I am hopinh Arhi have a plan up their sleeve to expose the snake...

Looks like we r heading to an Anji- Arnav showdown with both supporting their spouses...!
