SS: Crazy, Stupid Love
Chapter 1
"Boss is calling you" Natasha notified him walking down in a straight line preventing eye contact. He immediately noticed the chuckle she was trying to hold and groaned loudly.
"What happened?" Khushi queried turning around in her chair to find his hand on his forehead. She chuckled immediately realizing what had happened.
"Did boss call you?"
"Unfortunately, yes."
She threw her head up in laughter. "So what are you going to do Mr. Arnav Singh Raziada?" she mocked his name.
He lift his head from his head and replied, "Well I don't have a choice do I?" He stood and picked up a random file from his desk, a distraction so he won't have to face her.
He clutched on to the file and left his cubicle towards his boss' room. Shooting back a glance at Khushi he saw her mouth the words, 'Good Luck.'
He shook his head in dismay and mouthed back, 'Shut Up.' But he and she both very well knew he was going to need it desperately.

"So, Mr. Arnav Singh Raizada... How are you doing?" she rose from her chair and sat on the edge of her desk leaning forward. Arnav recognized exactly what she was doing and in his groaned loudly in his mind.
Why is this woman after me? Her seductions methods are so stupid. She needs a life.
"Is something wrong?" she asked snapping him out of his thoughts.
"Huhh? Umm...Nothing.. Did you need something?"
"You know what I need Arnav" she replied with her stupid seductive which he had been a victim of many times. She walked over swaying her hips in a swift motion and once again he had a reason to groan. Inching in closer, Arnav was completely aware or their close proximity and was absolutely not comfortable with it. She played around with his tie and gazed into his chocolate brown eyes. She had to admit, those eyes were an extreme killing device.
"Boss.." Arnav managed to utter.
"Arnav...how many times have I told you to call me Alisha?"
But before her voice could reach his ears, he had struggled out of the weird position and dashed out of the cabin.
Alisha sighed loudly at her failure attempt again.
Someday I'll get him.

Arnav busted out of the cabin as soon as he could. He pulled open the door and smashed it close behind him leaning against it catching his breath. Today was just- too much. She had gone way too far and he had to stop this. After recovering from his heavy panting, he noticed the people staring at him. Almost everyone had gathered around the cabin to watch them.
How disgusting.
Without any further delay, he stormed away from those awkward stares which were still following him and tracing him. He rushed towards that one and only place where he could find her, and there she was, sipping her coffee reading her favorite book.
He slid into the chair in front of her and pulled down the book away from her face to get her attention. Annoyed of his gesture she let out a 'Hey!'
But before ranting out on him, she noticed his distressed face and let out a small chuckle.
"So how was it?"
He lifted his head up to answer her eye to eye.
"What do you think? Same thing all over again except this time'"
"Oh my gosh Arnav you actually-"
Arnav knew what she was going to say and cut her off, "Of course I didn't. I would never you know that!"
Khushi lifted her hands immediately surrendering as she noticed his voice rise in anger.
"I need to stop her. This is going too far."
Khushi nodded and was proceeded to take a sip of her coffee but before that coffee tasted her lips, it was snatched away from her and was now against his lips.
Once again Khushi Kumari Gupta was ready rant out but she knew, he was too troubled.
And she had to help him.
"Look Arnav, I know you really want to get rid of this awkward relationship between you and her-"
"Relationship?" He stared at her horrified. "You know there is no relationship between me and her except for a boss and an employee."
Khushi let out a loud sigh and rested her cheek on her palm waiting for him to finish freaking out. Arnav noticed her reaction and hesitantly said, "Continue."
"Thank You!" Khushi rolled her eyes. "First thing, you're going to have to confront her and ask her what in the world she wants."
"Isn't it obvious? She wants my sexiness!" Arnav interrupted once again.
Khushi again let out a loud sigh in incredibility of this man. "Will you let me continue?"
Arnav noticed she was starting to get mad and no one was more scared of a Khushi Kumari Gupta than himself. He nodded innocently.
"Maybe she doesn't want your sexiness, which by the way you don't have at all" Khushi tried to stop a chuckle as Arnav stared at her in shock. "Okay okay' give her a condition that you both agree to , to stop this nonsense."
"What do you mean?" Arnav asked furrowing his eyebrows.
"For example, ask her out on a date."
"Woah woah woah'I am NOT going on a date with her!"
"Please let me finish Arnav otherwise get your advice from someone else" Khushi blurted out gathering all her stuff getting ready to leave.
He grabbed her arm and made her sit down and pacified her, "No wait Khushi don't leave. You're my best friend and plus you give people million dollar advice!"
Khushi sighed at his worthless attempts to praise her. She sat back down and continued, "Tell her that you will go on a date with her and after that she will have to stop this."
"But what if she doesn't agree?"
"Of course she will! She'll be ready to die to have a date with you!"
"Well then, I guess we have our solution! Thanks buddy."
"You're welcome" Khushi bowed with a smile.
Arnav was getting ready to leave but then suddenly Khushi had a million dollar idea.
"Hey why don't we go clubbing tonight?"
"Clubbing?" Arnav queried looking down at her.
"Yeah! I think it's a great idea! Plus, it will help you get rid of your stress."
Arnav had to admit it was a pretty good idea. "Well then, clubbing it is" he replied with a smile.
Khushi then gathered her stuff and stood up to leave and said, "Okay then, pick me up at 7."
"Pick you up? I thought you were coming over to our place?"
"Our place? Arnav it's your apartment!"
"Yeah but you live with me more than you do with your sister so might as well call it our place."
Khushi nodded her head in dismay and continued, "I can't come over today, you know Jiji and Jijaji are right? I've already slept at your place too many times they think you and me have something going on now. They just don't get it when I try to explain it to them but whatever. I better go home today otherwise they're going to get pretty mad."
Arnav nodded in agreement.
"Also I need to get a new dress for tonight!" Khushi added excitedly. This time it was Arnav who nodded his head in dismay and said with a smile, "Come, I'll drop you off."
***
Khushi opened the door to her condo, well her brother-in-law's condo and saw both, her sister and her brother-in-law leaning against the sofa as they were waiting for her.
As she closed the door behind her and strode closer, she noticed the expressions on their faces and she immediately realized, this wasn't going to be good.
"Hey Jiji!" Khushi nervously said interrupting the awkward silence.
She walked over to the kitchen and made herself a coffee but still, no sound emerged from both of their mouths.
Turning on the TV, she settled herself on the couch and still her Jiji and Jiaji were standing like terra cotta statues.
Annoyed of their silence, and their visions tracing down her every move, she blurted, "What is it?"
"Khushi?" finally one of them said a word.
"Yes Jijaji?" Khushi replied, terrified of the silence.
"How many times do we have to tell you?"
"Tell me what?" she completely confused.
"To not go over your limits" this time her sister replied.
Oh. So they were going to have THAT conversation.
"Jiji, I have no idea what your-"
"Khushi please don't lie." Payal replied in a calm tone. "Look Khushi, we let you do whatever you want, we tried understanding you like a friend, but now-"
"Now what?" Khushi replied, her temper rising.
"Khushi, don't get mad, we're just trying to explain-" Akash tried.
"Well I don't want to hear a thing!" her voice boomed, almost shaking the condo. She stomped out of the living room, and slammed the bedroom shut behind her.
Payal was on the verge of tears. Noticing this, Akash comforted her, cupping her face, reassuring her, "Don't worry Payal. Khushi is still pretty young. Her temper will always get in the way. We're going to have to be more friendlier-"
"Friendlier?" Payal stared at him in disbelief. "We've been so nice to her, and this was what her reaction was!" she continued pointing towards her sister's bedroom door. Payal rushed out of the living room towards her bedroom, leaving trails of soft sobs behind.
