Priya - truly short and sweet! And captures everything so perfectly!

The last three episodes have been so great but I've been all over the place and didn't have time to write about it in a detailed way like I'd have wanted to. But it's been quite a hell of a ride over the past few days, hasn't it??!

First of all touching on Mamiji and Anjali - superlative scene over the last two episodes - the urgency on Mami's part to protect her child from the "conspiring forces" and Anjali's dialogue - "aapko galat faimi hui hai" - flat out denial. We get a glimpse into the reality of what Anjali really is - a damaged person from the inside who protects herself from the harsh realities of life with her worship and her trust. But the seed of doubt has been planted now - it's not going to be a good ride ahead especially for her relationship with Khushi!

Shyam - I was overjoyed at the scene when he realised he's been played! Wow, that was just superb - I was actually up from my seat and dancing! I was honestly not expecting it to happen so soon - and I was thrilled that it happened, because it just upped the drama quotient now big time! All the chess pieces are slowly falling into place for the big game to be played!

I found the scene where Khushi found the note from Arnav very poignant - her reactions, her utter relief, her smile at the word written there "Laad Governor", "apne aap ko bula rahe hain"... she is now out to get him back - she's made corrections to atone for what she perceives to be her fault in getting the signatures from Arnav for Shyam earlier. I loved the interactions with NK too - he's on her side, he's ready to support her, be by her side, be her sakha!

Again I will repeat myself - no other SP bahu I think would do what she did - she's ready to compromise a lot of things, including the values of respecting marriage, to get back her love - "unke liye hum kuch bhi kar sakte hain" - she's done it, managed to lure the snake into his den to then slay him. Were her methods the best? Always debatable. She's always had the best of intentions though - in between the manipulations of the two men who are dictating the path of her life, she is ready to play the game too now. I am completely in awe of this Khushi - must say though - I miss my darling Khushi who smiles and laughs!

But looks like her laughter will be coming back soon... oh boy Arnav Singh Raizada is back, and how! Hot hot hot hot hot hot hot!!! It's been a long time since fight sequences on Indian television have made a thrill go down my spine! The casual way in which Barun acted through the scenes - phew!!! And ab toh mausam suhana hi lag raha hai - all weather forecasts are good for the near future!!! 😉

All in all, I am so proud to be an IPKKND fan - what do I say about our faith and belief - as good as Anjali's, right?! Bring it on CVs, we are all set!

P.S. Priyaaa, tussi na jao!! We will miss you sooo much! 😭😭😭 Pleejjj to keep phone on!! And yes, we are in for a treat with Anjali opening the Crooner! 😊

the episode was awesome yesterday! was expecting anjali to be in a denial mode, n DB was too good in that scene, mami was worried but bhanji was very sure ki sure ki her mami ko huvi galat faymi😳

i'm waiting to see how Anjali will behave with Khushi, once she's back from the mandir😕 will she be normal or will there be any change in her behaviour after mamiji's revelation?? I seriously hope Khushi comes back with Arnav this tim by the time anjali n mami come back home😳 in case if khushi dint return with Arnav(which i hate🤢), will she be showered with all the questions by mamiji, if she will be questioned, will she wait for Arnav's arrival or explain everything to mamiji??😕 confusion hi confusion hai solution kuch pata nahi😕

hated the way Snake held Khushi n said hamari pyaari khushi🤢 but the expression on her face when she saw Laad Governor on the bill was priceless!!😊 naaniji is in search of mamiji😲

As always your quotes are bang on!!! They fit the King to the T. Rising from the ashes is something that Arnav has done before as well. This time it will be about his belief and his trust. He is all set to return and take everything into control. Once he is back, it will be time for his belief to be put to test. Again there will be a mind vs heart conflict. Will he make a choice or will he do something so that he can have both Anjali and Khushi. Waiting to watch him in action.😃

ASR is back and how😎...did he actually kill two of those goons? Itne aasani se? 😲 phir what was he waiting for all these days? Common tells me!! I cant get over the look he gave those kidnappers. This is all that we wanted…we got a peek at the dhulaai session. Waiting for Shyaam to be kicked.

I loved Anjali's reaction...just as I had expected. She lives in denial and will not believe Shyaam's truth so easily not even if Arnav tells her. She needs to witness it. She is quite similar to Arnav that way. I feel very bad for her. For someone who literally worships her husband to see this dirty side to him can be so devastating🥺. Anjali trusts Khushi but will she do so now? Will she overlook all those instances when she has seen Khushi's love for Arnav? Khushi never hid the fact that she was missing Arnav and for someone who is so lost without her husband suddenly talks about divorce. Somewhere things don't tally. Will Anjali ponder over this over time?🤔

Khushi's reaction to the laad governor 😍. Awww...it was the cutest thing. Apne aap ko laad governor bula rahe hain. She had not even given the gift a thought but the minute she saw the note, the disgust that she felt with Shyaam around seemed to ease out. Her laad governor had sent her a note and as expected it didnt take her any time to realize its from her own Arnavji. She shared it with NK immediately. His reaction to this note was very cute…woh hum unhe laad governor bulate hain. Sheesh, these small things in life make my heart feel like jelly ☺️

Cant wait for tonight's episode...we have been getting such fantastic episodes these days. I will be missing it 😭 but will watch it later at night. Our magical IPK is back with a bang and as you have said, it time for us to sit back and enjoy the show!!!🥳🥳🥳

I am not going to delve into the episode today because I know others will do a better take on it than I will. I loved it, just as I did the one from yesterday! (Quick aside: I was really happy to see Naani back in the mix!👍🏼) Instead, I want to use this space to concentrate on your quotes, and the crossroads in the journey of two people, so intrinsically connected:

Faith and Disbelief: Anjali's response was expected, and thank God, the CVs did not give us anything else! She is cocooned in her chrysalis...I used this analogy for her yesterday. Her reeling in that spectacular scene was not because her husband had talked about divorcing her; it was because Khushi had mentioned those words...This is the clincher! Her husband is her GOD. How can GOD even think about doing something like this to her? She, who is so DEVOTED to him. She, whose FAITH is intact. Always has, always will be...Such things DO NOT happen to the BELIEVERS. Her adamant, brusque statement to Mamiji: "Aapko Galat Faymi hogayi hain", she said...Very formal, very direct. Its her final word. She will ask Mamiji to speak about it to no one. It will take another dawn, & another such scene when her "blinders" will finally come off. A journey into the "depth of her winter" to realize the delusions that heart has acknowledged for so long...Until then, we wait.

TEST, TESTIMONY, TRIAL, TRIUMPH: Now coming to your quotes above. The main part of my post today, Priya. Your title couldn't be any more fitting! The test has been completed, the testimony prepared, now comes the trial, and finally the triumph. I shared with you a few Crooners ago how much I love The Lord of the Rings. Seeing your quote today just brought back memories of reading and watching the adaptation of that great body of work by the master scribe, Tolkien. This is going to be the culmination of a journey for a man who had his own "beliefs" playing havoc with his heart and mind. A man who had to experience his "depth of winter" to realize what sunshine is. To feel that warmth, he would give everything. This is the story about that man. We call him Laad Governor, we call him the Boss, we call him the Don, we call him the King But when all is said and done, this is the story about a man who has now come into a reality. Shackles come undone, cobwebs cleared...

The man who uttered the "I LOVE YOU, Khushi" was a man broken, hope lost, darkness calling out to her...but to hear her voice, was his strength. Crippled by disbelief, and his mistrust of trusting what is the truth. Virtually on death's doorstep, a man who had no read on who or why he was captured. Until her silence spoke volumes to him; confirmed to him what his heart had refused to acknowledge only days prior. He made to escape to go back to her...A chance meeting, and the harsh reality of an incomplete love came back to him. His very words to her as they read each others minds on that fateful day "Tumne mujhe iss vishwas pe vishwas dilaya...kya kar diya Khushi tumne mere saath...itni koshish ki...itni zyaada koshish ki...ki tumse nafrat kar sakoon...par main tumse nafrat kar hi nahi paaya...mera khud ka dil meri koi baat nahi maanta..." His heart has heard the testimony. It has handed its own verdict. It is ready to fight now.

Heart over mind, mind over heart...Arnav and ASR. What he feels for her, is the former. What he feels for everyone else, the latter. Today, the heart drove him to fight those goons. Plain and simple. Coming from behind those boxes--"a light from the shadows"-he is ready to fight for that which is worth fighting for! Moving forward, it will be the heart & the mind together which will allow the "trial by fire"--fire symbolizing the phoenix who has risened from the ashes to his new reality. The "shaatir dimaag" will SHINE! Yesterday, you so astutely reminded us of "the men who have signed their fates" for their women. Of epic battles being fought in our legends. Today was a physical depiction of that battle to come. The emotional one still remains to unfold. But his very time spent in that "depth of winter" will help him seek that which matters the most to him...not just her, but his world as well. He will fight for his wife and his sister, not because he is a husband, not because he is a brother, not because it is his responsibility. But because he loves them. Both of them make him who he is now-heart and soul, redefined. He cannot be without one or the other. They are his shakti, his strength. So the fight will be twofold, with one enemy. The "collateral damage" will be revealed soon enough! Yes, at the end, his heart and his world--Khushi and Di will both be with him. He will win that battle...He is the king because he now believes...There is is that word again, Priya, that you so poignantly reminded us of yesterday--BELIEF!

But the wonderful "twist" here is that he won't be alone. He doesn't know his queen has already blazed the path for him. Made the most dangerous moves just as the queen does on the chess board. They will be in this together-yin & yang in synch at last! The "sunset" as you put it is upon us soon enough...the hamesha, hamesha--much awaited...But for now, I wait eagerly for the dawn!

As I write this, I can't but think of another gem from Tolkien which is my favorite. It resonates to me for everything we, as the viewers, have talked about when it comes to this show:

"Sam: I know. It's all wrong. By rights we shouldn't even be here. But we are. It's like in the great stories, Mr. Frodo. The ones that really mattered. Full of darkness and danger, they were. And sometimes you didn't want to know the end. Because how could the end be happy? How could the world go back to the way it was when so much bad had happened? But in the end, it's only a passing thing, this shadow. Even darkness must pass. A new day will come. And when the sun shines it will shine out the clearer. Those were the stories that stayed with you. That meant something, even if you were too small to understand why. But I think, Mr. Frodo, I do understand. I know now. Folk in those stories had lots of chances of turning back, only they didn't. They kept going. Because they were holding on to something.

Frodo: What are we holding onto, Sam?

Sam:That there's some good in this world, Mr. Frodo... and it's worth fighting for."

The fight will be one for the books, Priya...The next "volume" in the saga will be written now!
