It is learnt that filmmaker Imtiaz Ali and wife Preetihave decided to cast their blue-eyed boy Shahid Kapoor as leading man in a film Preeti is producing forUTV Motion Pictures, which is a remake of the 2009 South Korean flick My Girlfriend Is An Agent.

And sources inform that, Bosco of Bosco Caesar will make his directorial debut with this film. But what seems interesting here is Shahid's entry in the film. Buzz says that Imtiaz was very happy with Shahid's work in Jab We Met. Kareena Kapoor and he got a lot of appreciation in the film and Shahid's role won many accolades.

One can easily conclude that the role of Aditya was not that easy but Shahid did it with so much conviction. Now we hear that ever since, Imtiaz has wanted to work with Shahid. Preeti too loved his acting in the film.

As for Shahid, he has simply loved the offer, the source revealed, adding, "The modalities are being worked out. He may not do UTV's Hindi remake of Vettai but he might just do this film for them now."

So, here comes another chance for Shahid to prove his brilliance!
