June 11th: Is this the NBT we love?

For a change I'm making a thread to summarize how APPALLINGLY bad this epi was


TERRIBLE direction, no coherent flow to the episode...poorly written out...I don't even know where to begin to sum up just all that was so off about this episode

Let's start with Megha first...seriously THAT is her reaction? Poor acting from Aakanksha...which I don't know if it was the result of the poor direction or it was poorly written to begin with...very STILTED acting for a moment that required more DEPTH from Megha.

Clearly the director had no idea how to PACE himself in this episode with the way the entire thing flowed...you should feel an URGENCY for the situation...Mohan just got SHOT for god's sake but we as an audience never got that sense from the reactions of the characters...Megha alternated b/w just shrieking Mohan, Mohan or stroking his hair like he's her third kid or a pet doggy...

I don't know if it's the change of director since Mr. Chemistry a.k.a the previous director Maan has left the show now but there was NO chemistry b/w MM today...that too at supposedly such a CRUCIAL juncture...Megha just appeared to be going through the motions...her "concern" for Mohan came across as VERY superficial...like she could be hardly bothered.

The way the episode flowed, the way Nanhi and Guru were shown to find out didn't connect...the scenes appeared stilted and artificial barring Guru's breakdown in front of Indu...it's like it was all written on such a superficial level.


In all this the only saving grace was Mohan...who had maybe 3 dialogues in the entire epi yet they were the ONLY genuine bit which CONNECTED...fantastic acting from Kunal...the saving grace indeed.


The storyline is as it is on a cliched path but usually NBT gave us something to look forward to TREATMENT-WISE...sadly that also was totally butchered today...PATHETIC treatment of an already cliched storyline...this is surely not what we watch NBT for😕😕


Anyways, that's my rant...anyone else feel the same way...feel free to rant away.

And those who still think the epi was WONDERFUL...yay for them too😆

Mohan n Kunal where wud this show be without this char and this actor he got me hooked and he is making me stick arnd😆

Well i agree with most of what you are saying but your two cents on what khoon bhaari maang means for future storyline so that means megha is booked for mohan and no one else can marry her and indu quietness as it seemed out of character so does that mean she going to do a u turn of megha mohan u turn and thanks for the post

I felt like it was an alternate universe...even at it's worst of worst, ITNA disconnect nahin hua in any NBT epi...the NBT VIBE was totally missing I felt😕...the EMOTIONAL connect that I have with these characters...aaj unko itni superficially dikhaya that it was just SAD'

Yeah where would this show be indeed without Mohan and Kunal...but sadly he alone can't carry it if the script and direction are pathetic.

If anyone from the show NBT is reading all these posts …. Please convey the messages to the concerned … We r really scared ….

1) Bad direction and more over bad script... very disappointing... specially the way they r using Nanhi, now a days...

BTW Megha brought Mohan hospital, operation was done he was shifted to icu , everyone said bye ... Megha didnt have time to wash her hands ...

OK even if she forgot to wash her hands , didnt the blood just dry out in all this time ??????

2) First of all the show's pace is steadily going down
Secondly today's episode started before M was shot ... why repeat again??
Third , the scene till Mohan goes unconscious was good but again when Megha finds the Hanky , really she remembers which hanky was lost when n how ????

Most important of all , Indu asking who could have stopped him and didn't ? wad kind of logic is that ? Mohan was going as a part of his job and why shud Megha stop him when according to Indu she was not to interfere in Mohan's life ?

3) Why such cliche(s) are coming into NBT's script ?
If they had to use such ancient ideas , then why didnt megha realize during the holi episode ?
So Is it anything special or magical abt Mohan's Blood ????

4)How can they show Megha's character go suddenly from being a Wounded but strong woman to dumb - cry baby who decides to jinx her and her kids future by agreeing to get married to some xyz ...
Getting married is not a 1 minute decision , it is not even a temporary phase to sacrifice it for someone else ...

ew ew ew ...why why why r they doing this to our show ...

5)It wud have been good if Megha went and touched his cheek rather than playing with his hair ... anyway it was a dream , why not show some real care than showcasing motherly feeling ...

6) Earlier the script and direction was good that even if the actors didnt put their soul in the scene , the flaws were easily hidden, never felt the need to criticize the new comer , never felt she was one ..but today due to the faulty direction and very weak script the whole responsibility was on the actors...

Kunal nailed it - may be we can call this experienced acting ...Whereas akansha- felt she was a newcomer for the very first time.

7) Main ise nahin kho sakti - This line depicts many different things ...

She stills finds Mohan as her biggest support
She still has the soft corner as a friend
or the infamous realization that she is in love

Frankly speaking , I was it to the first two points abv
Because Mohan ffalling in love was ok but turning into a deewana was bad
Same way Megha cant just fall in love with him while she is still struggling with Amar's memories ...
I want a decent transaction...not an instant realization.

8)Oh gone are the days when M n M exchanged silent understanding of each other in the park eating ice creams...

Confusion between tum and aap

both walking away and missing each other turning back ...

Mohan faking he lied abt his love and then a drop of tear rolling out his eyes

The episodes were filled with amazing one liners , I remember there was a thread where ppl posted every days fav lines.
