I think Samsher has planned this incident just to get rid of that annoying Balraj. Only that explains the sudden change in Samsher's behavior. Otherwise why will the man who always protest against the evil will suddenly ask the victim of evil to leave the protective shelter? Thus I think that none of the trio is dead.
