Why the FBs ?

The hug was beautiful ! Passionate, intense & wanting ! It showed how much they longed to be held by each other . But the Flashbacks !! Ok FBs are necessary during an emotional scene when they're not with each other and are probably remembering their moments together. But during a scene like this, alright, it's fine to have them , but why so many of them? A hug that could've been more complete was just completely disturbed with the constant interruption of the FBs . The same happened during the Teri meri dance sequence. That was still ok as , they cud've been used as fillers inbetween the song , but tonight , in the hug scene , Iam not sure , but just wanna ask you all , were the FBs really necessary ?

P.S - Ok , please don't pounce at me. I absolutely love & adore ArHi as much. Was just a tad bit disappointed due to the numerous FBs that were included in the scene. Most of them were out of place & I felt , disturbed the momentum of the hug.

Yes I was wondering the same thing. I just wanted to concentrate on their hug.FBs were a distraction...but hug was great. It was LOOONNNGGG, Intense hug. The kind we were hoping for :)

i know what u mean unnati..but probably they wanted to show the same jodi which went through all that is hugging like that..i know too many fb's today..which didnt even have much symbolisms to the hug..though some had.. but again they did it to fill the time and moreover we can always edit one for ourselves na??;))

I felt the same way. I was like okay we get it but can we concentrate on THIS moment please. They are using the FB a lot these days, partly to remind fans of all the iconic scenes of the past but also to attract new viewers who may have just started to watch the show IMO. In the past the FB were used well but of late ...I dunno they just feel forced and out of place. Just my point of view, please no 'basher' remaks.
