I think Mallu already knows hat they are married. I also think she is faking. Not to say that she is faking the abuse, not that. I think she is faking this whole memory loss and being disoriented thing.
I don't know if you've read some of the other posts, but in a couple of the other topics it been bought up by others members about how did she get to India from the US, alsohow she managed to find a hotel and was staying there and also managing to avoid payments by putting of queries about payment from the staff etc, after all if you can't even remember your address how can you go overseas and manage to look after yourself. Plus she recognized ashutosh pretty quickly.
Also if you notice, she also is aware of the surroundings and people, then how come she does not notice nidhi, she always with ashu in the same room. I mean how can you recognize everyone and not the o e person you hate most standing there as big as life.
I think usko sab pata hai and thisis a plan on her part. Of course she is in a pathetic state, and she plans to take full advantage of it. She knows how concerened ashu is about her. so she is deliberately, ignoring nidhi. She will use ashu friendship and concern to cling to him thus creating MU between the two. And ashu will not listen to any thing nidhi has to say, as we have seen previously.
My take, of course I could be totally wrong is that we might also have another (hopefully short) separation track, during which ashu will find out the truth, and he will she her for what she really is. Ab is saare track ko kitne din stretch karengein, ram jaane. This is just my pont of view.
