I have always said that when the man melts, he is going to be like a popsicle in the summer sun. And that he was today. He has accepted the love and emotion that he has been bombarded with since Khushi entered his life that day at sheeshmahal long, long ago. And as it always has been, the melting has happened just as suddenly and quickly as the infamous temper comes in, without any prior warning. Be it diwali, the sangeet or kidnapping. And for all I know, it might fizzle out that quick too, if IPK history is anything to go by. But for now, hold your horses, girls, 'cos ArHI seems to be ready to scorch the screen again.

So today's episode started with Khushi and Maami discussing their finds from the detective giri and not coming up with anything concrete. None of which matters anyway,'cos she finds a big lead by fluke. But before that, maami asks her to go over to GH and stay the night. Aww.. how sweet!!!! And so convenient , too. So no one will notice her absence now that she is kidnapped herself. Wah, wah, kya baat!!!

Next, follow scorpion tattoo, get in trouble, danda on head and girl ends up in the room right next door to Arnie. wah, wah, kya baat!!!All not important. Why? because the gust of wind blows and they feel each others presence. And then it was Arhi windfall of EPIC proportions...Wall to wall Rabba ve, instrumental IPK BG, then synchronized walking away from the wall, the searching nazar, the bekaraari... Hai, hai, kya baat, kya baat!!!!

And then Khushi, as usual, the more vocal of the two, says it out loud. Arnav-ji??
And he hears it, knows where she is and does his throaty Khushi.. thing

And Khushi, holding on to wall with sheer relief and happiness at find him... aww...

Aur phir kya?? Synchronized searching for table, and then both on table and finally, eye lock, fingers meet and Arnie smiles... haila!! yeh kya hua???

Aww... so sweet. This is Arnav now, nothing else matters but seeing her, feeling her, having her close enough and basking in her outpouring of care and love.

She rips into him

--such a cute scene -- hum nahi rukenge, hum jaante the aap kisi musibat mein hai, aapne humse jhooth bola tha phone par, aap thik nahi hain. She says it three times, almost as if she wants him to admit that not all of it was a lie.

She holds on to his fingers as if she never wants to let him go and he asks, oh so lovingly...

Khushi, tum chati ho mein tumhare paas aaon?? Mujhe yeh grill todni hogi

Lo, metaphor quota for the day, done.

And the guy, who has never comforted Khushi or cared for her without having the ASR facade on, who has never openly showed his concern, was an open book today. And showed all the signs of being a very clingy, over protective husband... Well, all that overt possessiveness of ASR had to translate to something in Arnie, right??

And then he finds out, the tapori hit her and it is his turn to rip into her and he does it in a manner that is neither ASR nor Arnav.. somewhere in between and is shocked to see a smiling Khushi. Welcome to the loving husband club, Arnie boy, where the wife laughs at you when you get mad...

And a smiling Arnie, who unlike her dreams, does not feel creepy at all... aww...

And then, how did you know I was in trouble???

Ah, the million dollar question...and if Khushi's confession happens through the grill...😡

Oh who am I kidding???, We all know we are suckers for their romance... we will take it any which way and thank the CVs for showering us with the crumbs they do in the name of romance...hai re pathetic-ness...

Sanaya ruled today, in every scene. Every single one of them. 👏

IPK fans hit the jackpot with today's episode. Loved the episode to bits and their reunion after 3 weeks was totally worthwhile. For the first time in their journey together their actions and words echoed what they felt in their hearts, there was no hiding, no incomplete sentences, no pretenses just raw emotions.

Barun and Sanaya once again rocked and proved why they have captured so many hearts around the world.👏

Khushi regains consciousness in a darkened room and feels Arnav's presence. Arnav also feels the same and both of them become restless and start pacing the room. Khushi's "Arnavji" call heard by Arnav and he responds back, Smile and tears flood Khushi's face the relief of hearing his voice and knowing he is next to her. She clings to wall as though she were clinging to him. He asks her to be careful several times as she tries to get up on something to see him across the grill. What I loved was the fact that the responses and the behavior of A & K were very true to their characteristics - reserved and control Arnav and child woman Khushi.

They see each other and do not talk for the first minute. I loved this scene , it was as though each one was just drinking in the other's presence and did not want to come out of it. Her concern comes out and she pounds him with questions and he patiently shushes her and tells her he will answer the questions but needs to break the grill first.

The next sequence is where the child woman in her comes out, she clings on to his hand afraid to let it go. He patiently explains like he would do to a child that if you want me to come next to you, I need to break it. I am near you. She reluctantly lets go
and slowly sits on the floor and calls out for him again to make sure he is still around. His comforting words "I am right here" brings her solace. Sanaya was brilliant in portraying these emotions.

She smiles when he gets angry at her for having gone through so much trouble and innocently says that she missed his yelling. This shows that she has accepted him completely with all his flaws, all his virtues good and bad.

The emotions of longing, yearning, holding, aching to be next to each other loudly resonated today without absolutely no memories of the heartaches of their journey so far.

Awww Sari, your posts always give me goosebumps. And I am not a romantic, but I will always be grateful to this show for showing me what love is. I finally get it. Thank you Arnav and Khushi!

I don't really know what more to add, you've said it all. "Pyaar nafrat se bada hota hai, sabse bada hota hai", Khushi realized it before Arnav did, but now Arnav has and he will never let go willingly. He will hold and and do whatever it takes to keep her with him and shower her with everything good.

Although I wasn't sure about how I felt with the consummation track being played out right away, I did maintain that whatever the CV's will decide, I'll oblige and watch. Complete faith in them when it comes to the romance, intensity and passion.

This will happen next week. It has to be passionate and in the moment. A planned scene is no fun and will take away a lot of the charm. These two have been affected by each other since the first time they met. I think for them and us, it's about time. They will go through with it. And it's not a bad thing. This is important for the "Jo kuch kaha, jo kuch kiya, uska koi matlab nahi tha, bus tum'" to play out. If this doesn't, somewhere we all will wonder if the "I love you" was because he thought he was about to die and was telling her how he felt or was it to give her a clue. With this done, that "I love you" will be considered his "I love you and nothing else matters to me" act.

Once she gets shot ofcourse the truth will be black and white in front of him and we all know how he'll punish himself for everything he put her through. But, should there be another misunderstanding, which I doubt because Shyam-Khushi on the terrace is bigger than anything else now (except the dark past connection) and Arnav will not pay attention to it. His "I Love You" is testimony to that. This night will be something they will both hold on to. He for more reasons than one, he will feel guilty after its done and when the truth is clear because he may feel he "took advantage", but then again, it'll tie up with him punishing himself and Khushi getting him out of that. Not to forget, when Khushi walks out, this will hold a lot of meaning then too.

Yes, I don't want her pregnant and something in me tells me he should carry the silver foil in his wallet, but then again, he hasn't been getting any for a while either.. so who knows.

But seriously creatives (and Jamba if you are Gul :P), getting Khushi pregnant will be a major flop. Your USP is your tagline and passionate love (along with Barun 😳 and your cast). Not baby-making with timeless gestational periods.

Besides, they can't have released the promo and then not show it, it will be major "boy who cried wolf" then and they will lose credibility. They could test the waters though and make a more passionate one when the official SR takes place and attract even more viewers.

Mad love which cannot be weighed is just flowing as tears from their eyes. She was fuming for lying about his state. His thirst of wanting to be loved by Kushi is quenched seeing her concern and her stubbornness of holding his hands tight. Love healed all their pain, killed their demons. He can go through any pain but cannot see his tender Kushi getting hurt, who is as delicate as a flower. What can we name this purest of pure love which is more pure than the blue flame?

1) Payash separation to maintain contrast to ARHI.

2) Maami's bonding with Kushi will help Arnav to open his eyes. Seems like another misunderstanding is in it's way, which will hurt kushi to leave him.

@Veeps: Yes even i felt spark in Barun is missing in the first half of ArHi scene. But any how something is better than nothing in the present status

Awesome post Sari! IPKKND fans are on a high today for more than one reason. Barun and Sanaya have won another award for their sizzling chemistry, their characters have finally reunited after what felt like forever and that promo was HOT!

Before I say anything, please excuse me while I do my little jig for the evening, "It's back, it's back, it's back, it's back, it's back, it's back, it's back, it's back, it's back!!!! Ok, now that I have gotten that out of the way, WHAT AN EPISODE!! We all knew what was going to happen, our expectations despite our best efforts were sky-high, and yet, everything was exceeded today. Many beautiful words have been said and will be said about today, but for me, it was all about one thing. One thing that's always been there, but what I wasn't really expecting to see today right at the forefront. Arnav's concern, nay worry for his Khushi. Over the top, but oh so sweet! This track began with Khushi realizing her feelings finally and being sick with worry over Arnav's well-being. She finally comes face-to-face with the love of her life after what seems like eons, and what happens? She immediately lets him take over!

Arnav watches carefully, anticipation mixed with fear while she drags the box over and starts climbing up to catch a glimpse of her beloved. He is desperate to see her too, but even at that instant he remembers her penchant for clumsiness and cautions her again and again. She wants to help him break open the grill, but he insists that she stay out of the way for her safety. She reluctantly obeys and only when he has satisfied himself that she's on firm ground does he set about figuring out a solution. He has his heart in his mouth when he hears her being threatened with violence; on hearing that she has already been struck by the kidnapper. He wants to look at her again; he's searching her for signs of injury, hoping against hope that she hasn't been hurt. He finally explodes when he realizes the danger she put herself into, and she smiles as she hears those familiar words. How many times has she been reprimanded in this fashion.. "Kya zaroorat thi.. blah blah…. Tumhe kuch ho jaata to.. blah blah" His censure is music to her ears and she tells him as much.

Sigh… it was beautiful! Looks like we're in for a wild ride, buckle up spice girls!

One more thing, when this began, who would have ever thought that Arnav would be found, escape to the jungle and possibly make love to his wife and we would be left wondering who the kidnapper is! 😲

The love. The longing. Pure awesomeness.

The gust of wind blows, they sense each others presence and an amazing collage of their earlier moments together passes through their minds.

Them walking around the room, her hugging the wall- We have been reduced to complete mushmellows by this pair. And who the heck wants to be practical when make this make believe is so awww.

Dhoondh liya tumne mujhe- she has indeed found him literally and figuratively. She has managed to track down and reach out to the heart within. The relief awash on his face as he no longer wants to deny his love- priceless!

Her concern for him, his saying he's fine and her angrily contradicting him was probably my most favorite bit within all that fabulousness. BS's expressions of indulgence, love and fondness- perfecto mundo!
