Diya Aur Baati Hum fights the IPL

TV serials were hit badly by the IPL. In fact in the last week of the IPL, when the semi-finals and final matches were held, serials were most affected.

But one serial that didn't face the heat is Diya Aur Baati Hum on Star Plus. In fact this number one show on TV has actually registered a rise in the Television Rating Points (TRPs). From a rating of 4.9, the show actually touched 5.5. It's the current track which the viewers seem to have liked, where the lead pair has finally sorted out all their misunderstandings and are starting life afresh.

So, what's next now for the show? What direction will the story take?

This show should be a lesson to other pruducers who use the excuse of IPL as a downfall in TRP. It just shows that if you work hard and show what the fans like the show will do well and stay number one like DABH has done. It didn't accept defeat but kept on fighting and now it showed us all.

Diya aur Baati is the no1 show on tv ..no doubt about it
hats off to the whole team ...esp ANAS and DEEPIKA 👏
ANAS is the best actor on tv ,who can emote any kinds of expressions..no one can beat him in expressions ..Deeepika is pretty and doing a good job ...👍🏼

really fought a lot to get the remote during ipl times😆😆
but, I always won & i didnt even miss a single epi and its repeats...
DABH Rocks⭐️ and created many haters for me in my own house...lol

Thanks a lot for sharing the link and as well as the article, I am really proud to be called as a fan of DABH. DABH is and will continue to be THE BEST SERIAL ON TV. Hats off to Anas and Deepika who showed brilliant acting along with other members of DABH. DABH simply ROCKS :)
