SG's 🤗 Its Friday, the telescopes and binoculars were out - and STILL no Arnie sighting. We'd have had a better chance of spotting Haley's Comet as it made its way around the far side of the galaxy. Is BS shooting his movie on Neptune? 😕
Today's Take 5 from an arid, Sobtiless desert - as the oasis that everyone was hoping for turned out to be a mirage. 😕 Also, after yesterday's rant from the CV's - I'm going to be VERY, VERY careful with my review today.
1. The epi opens with KSR pondering a full watering can and an empty wallet. CV's - NOT BASHING, but 20k for Eenie and Meenie? Really? Back to the story - common sense makes a feeble attempt to raise its head (should I tell Jiji?) only to be beaten down yet again - she'll handle it ALONE. Yeah, coz that's worked SO well in the past. 😕
Payash filler. This was the best he could come up with...a couple of slides to woo the wife he stood up for a dinner date? Dude - you need some serious help, even the Hulk did better than that when he tried to pacify Dimbulb.
I actually liked these two before they got married - when Payal still retained both character and spine. But I have to say something positive after the CV's bashed *us* yesterday, so - umm, nice to see that the Payash BG score has returned?
2. Breakfast table histrionics. Has this family ever had a normal meal without some kind of drama? CV's - NOT BASHING, but you do realize that a normal breakfast includes more than toast and juice, right? How about some jam and butter next time? If the budget doesn't stretch to that - no problem. We understand. NOT BASHING.
Mami wants to know where Phatti Sari wents. "Come on Phatti Sari - tells us now!". But Phatti Sari has a chronic problem with the truth - its a wonder this female Pinocchio's nose isn't scraping the floor by now.
So she wents to the Khadi Bhandar to get a gift for the Armani wearing ASR. If he had heard that, methinks he'd have grabbed the gun and tried to shoot himself.
CV's - NOT BASHING, but did we really need to spend 7 minutes out of a 21 minute episode on this?
3. KSR does a Mea Culpa to Mami - who gives her 24 hours to prove her point. But the seed of doubt has been planted by Double-oh-Khushi (DOK), and now Double-oh-Mami (DOM) is on the job. God help Arnie.
More fillers with the beached whale, aka, new Mama ( CV's - NOT BASHING, but please bring back the original Mama), and DOM starts calling 5 Star hotels in Scotland. Too bad they muted that conversation - Mami's lucknowa accent dueling with a fakewa Highlandwa accent would have been interesting to watch. (Hey - NO BASHING! Arnie's missing, so grasping at straws here.)
4. KSR goes haring off to the airport - can I pretty please watch CCTV footage? The airport official is apparently made of sterner stuff than the visa/passport office, and doesn't collapse into spineless jelly for Mrs. ASR.
He refuses to hand over the tapes, but helpfully tells her EXACTLY where it is stored - kinda like a treasure map with "X marks the spot". CV's - NOT BASHING, but THAT doesn't violate ANY security regulations?
5. Precap + Wardrobe. Black is totally Mami's color, she looked awesome! And without the 15 lbs of jewelry weighing her down, she probably felt a lot lighter too.
And that brings us to the end of Week 2 and counting. The sand in the hourglass is running out and multiple rumors abound. He's back on the sets, he shooting, he's away for 40 days, he's quitting, he's coming back. Pending the announcement of a definite date for his return - these won't go away.
