You know what's the problem with this forum?

People tend to ignore newbies or people that are not "known" on this forum.
Why? 😕
I've noticed this happen to many.. including myself.

MOST of my topics aren't paid attention to or simply are just ignored.

For example, I had this post made a few weeks ago about my reactions to a certain things..
yeah some responses.. but when another member of the forum was inspired from my post & made similar topics.. they got many responses. I guess she's well "known"

Hm, that's all I had to say.

& This post isn't for everyone but some/most of you.
I just had to get this out there & I wanted to from a while now.. I guess it was the best time right now.

Many of you might not agree and many of you might.. but this is just what I feel as it happens to me.

Anyway, I had a nice time with you all in this forum..

I agree with you I do appreciate the guts you have of posting this here... now I don't honestly know if this people are going to agree with you or disagree because this topic could get closed down too... who knows...

But im glad you made this post...and its not JUST with newbies...Ive seen IF-Rockerz with amazing posts and they dont get any recognition... and who gets recognition? the people who are very well-known... now im NOT saying that theyre post are bad...eveyrone's posts are amznig...the hard work everyone does is only appreciated by some and that discourages us...it has obviously happened to me too... but oh well...thers nothing you can do about it :(

Considering that your saying HAD are you leaving??? Don't leave.

Im glad you had a good time on this forum :)

Yeah it might get closed but it had to be done.. (not that it will make any difference) but yeah!

hmmm.. i get ure point... even though im a goldie i still kinda feel that way... like i will never fit in but its ok...everyone does sometime

It ocasionally is the newbies but ive seen a lot of newbies who actually do get a lot of recognition... ive seen quite a few...im guessing its luck...thats all i got...

this is so true, i agree with you!

i rarely post on here, usually i just read other posts. but i remember making a post once and it was basically ignored (got a few comments), right then another well known member made the SAME post and said my same ideas and predictions... and they got so many comments. lol people are weirddd, and there are certain members on here who are making up stuff and posting it (for attention) and its one specific girl, whos been doing this for the last couple of days, but everyone is believing what she's saying blindly.. but its just lies...

wish people would wake up, make their own judgements, and think logically.. and stop favouring well known posters...

i dont think thats true.i've been on this forum.. n other forums for a few years (almost 7) now...

and from what iv seen/read some topics just intrigue u or hit u enough to comment.. while others are just likeable.

every member faces the same things.( it doesnt have anything to do with how old/new or known/unknown u are to a forum)

i think what brings us here more importantly is the love for this show.

frankly.. after all these years on IF. i dont really care if anyone "comments" or doesnt on my posts :) i've shared the love from my side.. and that gives me happiness enough :)

i agree...i had also mde one post...nobody commented..i was full sad dat y i joined i-f...its not newbies only who dont get comments in der post..senior members also dont get attention...😔😒

I feel the same way! It's plain rude and disrespectful. I don't give up though, actually, I don't even care, I just read topics and add my 2 cents.

Being someone who makes posts all the time let me tell you

some rules

Write what you believe in.

Say your point crisply.

Give two hoots who replies but reply to those who do reply

Keep on making posts you believe in

Stay away from attacking anyone or anything (of course it brings you to the limelight. but it does not last)

AND LAST BUT NOT THE LEAST: Believe you are a veteran and not a newbie!

Easier said than done. But just be sure of yourself.

Sorry for preaching. This is coming from someone who has followed these rules
