May 21st: Mouse chases, clues & kidnapping

Good epi today...they are handling the developments well with the entire search process and the picture building up step by step.


The bits I liked:


1) The opening MM scenes in the kitchen...lol Mohan being Mohan HAS to drop something and we get the awkward moment with him helping her pick up the katoris.


2) Mohan's reaction to that mouse under the sink🤣 PRICELESS🤣🤣...SpiderMan is scared of MICE? Awww🤣...Nanhi ko pata chalega toh woh use MERCILESSLY tease karegi😆

That entire bit with BOTH him and Megha standing on the counter/chair was just so hilarious...what a PAIR🤣🤣...so different from the cliched setting you'd expect of this kind of a scene...and lol@ Mohan saying ki ghar pe toh Guru chuhe ko bhagaata hai🤣🤣🤣...and Megha telling him ABHI toh tum kuch karo! lolll...awww@ Mohan finally becoming brave enough to tackle the mouse when Megha tells him abhi Amar nahin hai toh TUM hi karo😆


And Megha cracking up at Mohan's attempts to shoo the mouse away with a jhaadu🤣🤣🤣

And awww@ Monu's embarassment after this as Megha continues to laugh at him🤣🤣...bechara...awww he was really cute in this scene😆


3) GuruDEV thwarting those loser kidnappers👏👏😆...Guruji ki JAI ho...but sadly poor Nanhi did end up getting kidnapped baad mein


4) MM scene when they are looking through that box...seriously SUCH a poignantly sweet bit...probably my fav. in the epi...one for Megha's reaction to that last gift that Amar gave her and told her not to open it until he gets back...and then he never came back...just the way she says that breaks your heart for her...and Mohan...awww...the way he takes the package and hides it behind his back...as if taking away a painful memory and then pulling out a picture of her and Amar where Amar's trying to teach her how to ride a scooter...awww...such a SWEET moment...from Mohan especially that he pulled that picture out and the SMILE with which he showed it to Megha...and Megha also starts to smile and reminisces that she could never learn to BALANCE...I thought that was an interesting word choice...and after that Mohan pulling out that picture of Megha dancing...I just LOVEDDD the smile on Mohan's face as he was looking at all those pictures...such a fond, sweet smile...not asking for anything but just so happy to see HER so happy in all those pictures.

And then Megha taking away those pictures from abruptly...and again attempting in an indirect way to tell him that she's LIVED her life already in every way...she married the man she loved, settled into marital bliss with him, had two wonderful kids with him...she literally feels that she's lived her life out in every way and there is nothing else left for her...she again reiterates that her memories of Amar are all she needs for the rest of her life...this was again an attempt to tell Mohan that he is wasting his time and should pick a different path...I loved Mohan's expressions in response...and the way he changed the subject to looking for clues again.


5) The last bit with MM moving through the house and hiding from the police was well done too without any OTT crap thrown in for the sake of it...so I liked that...and Mohan's determination to find the clue increasing was nicely shown too...he is always THE most firm one even as Megha and the FIL get spooked more easily.



I enjoyed this epi a lot...and tomorrow looks like they will find the CD...things are getting more interesting.

Mohan is so clumsy- he has to bump into Megha or drop Katoris- he just HAS TO do something SO Mohan-y nahin? 😆 And I love his his unique Mohan-esque title for Amar - "Mr Perfect" and him making a mental note to NOT compete with him because he stands absolutely no chance 😆

Hi5 Anu! I had the same reaction - so MICE are the antidote to spiderman's powers eh? I wonder what would his Chavanni think if she saw her spidey's mice handling antics 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Aww I know- just the MENTION of Amar and Mohan LEAPS at the opportunity (with hesitation of course) to prove to M that he is as "chivalrous" as Amar - sun naa Mohan, ab compete kaun kar raha thaa bey? 😆

Dude that JHADOO antic cracked me up so bad - I was laughing non-stop! The way he was throwing the broom all over the place and dancing with the mouse was hilarious 🤣🤣

And awww@ Monu's embarassment after this as Megha continues to laugh at him🤣🤣

I agree - he was SO cute aww Monu *pulls cheeks and ruffles Monu's hair*

Aww yeah! Guru's gharely nuska like Amy called it, to shoo away the kidnapper reminded me of that Home Alone kid 😆. Bhagayaa bhi toh kya bhagaaya - bilkul Biwi Guru style mein 😆. I was touched when Nanhi thinks it is Renu and runs to hug her in fear - it just shows how innocent a child she is , at heart. In that moment of fear, even though she knows she can hardly expect Renu, of all the people, to be her savior, the way she holds on to her so dearly and just her relief and that blind faith that her Tai jee will somehow protect her was so endearing- I think AK did a FAB job there 👏

WORD on all of this Anu- you summed up exactly what I felt. It was such a poignant scene- as much as I felt for Megha, my heart really went out to Mohan. He is not even expecting anything in return even though he loves her, he is just taking everything in his stride and is accepting all her memories although it pains him, just to see her happy. He can't help pining for her because well that is an instinct that is out of his control and he has a hard time as it is trying to quell it and it really doesn't help when Megha totally slams the door shut in his face by saying that she can live the rest of her life with the memories of Amar. I feel bad for Megha but I also feel bad for Mohan

5) The last bit with MM moving through the house and hiding from the police was well done too without any OTT crap thrown in for the sake of it...so I liked that...and Mohan's determination to find the clue increasing was nicely shown too...he is always THE most firm one even as Megha and the FIL get spooked more easily.

I liked that it did not go OTT to Anu- even Mohan cupping Megha's mouth to stop her from shouting was not "glorified" , if you know what I mean. M-M hiding from the cops and then helping FIL also hide from them and M immediately sensing that this must be DN trying to be cautious and feeling even more determined to scrap every nook and corner to find that proof was very nicely done 👏

I agree- I really really liked the episode today. It is a good beginning to the week 👍🏼

I love the way Mohan says, "Sorry" after dropping the katoris...that tone as if to say, "pata nahin har baar kaise ho jaata hai...I'm hopeless"😆

And Megha also has this expression like "ab toh mujhe aadat ho gayi hai"😆

True that Anu. It was indeed a good episode...a good start to this week and good build up of events leading to the case investigation.

MM scene was very nicely done. Both Kunal and Akanksha emoted very well in that moment especially that bit with last gift and the pulling of the pictures. I had Mohan's smile on my face whenever he smiled. I just felt for Mohan more when Megha started talking about Amar and how she has enough memories that she doesn't need anything else. I get megha's point too but i don't know I felt for Mohan more there. I liked how Mohan interrupted with the CDs bit...you see his emotions welling up inside him through his eyes and his body language. The moment he seemed "saturated" with megha's Amar talk, he politely and respectfully interrupted. I really liked this scene.

@police chase--- yeah that bit was done better than expected...well umm after all it's Mohan we're talking about, right? He can be anything but OTT stupid when it comes to such stuff.😆

@Guru-- I loved his bit too. He's one smart guy. lol @ him using his "gharelu" trick to rid those pests😆. Despite his attempts, those thugs ended up kidnapping Nanhi. 🤔 I bet Guru will be instrumental in the investigation of this kidnapping. I can totally see Mohan and Guru working together to solve this issue.

Yes Yes Yes! Such a tadakta bhadakta episode! ME se laakh guna better- though I have started softening up to the ME as well. 😆

Excellent episode and nicely done scenes but the best parts were the rat scene so rough and tough mohan is scared of rats so epib then the mohan megha conversation and megha attempting to tell mohan to back off andthe police scene were nicely done and even the kidnapping scene was logical and finally on a different note it is time mohan really walks out of the megha life and only then megha would realise his true worth and by the way i request the writers to tone down the amar jaap of megha to mohan because it is irritating and in reality any person would have died of heartbreak till now and mohan deserves better

Oh but I felt equally for both Mohan and Megha in this scene...I thought it was a fantastic scene that way to show both their viewpoints...I GOT why Megha did what she did...and she tried in her indirect way to get her point across...and yes your heart goes out to Mohan for the way she breaks it piece by piece too...but it was the kind of angst I like...their reactions and POVs were in character...and in an odd sense there was such a COMFORT b/w them in this scene even as Megha in a sense was trying to push him away...Megha WILL keep on talking about Amar endlessly...it's just established fact now😆

Loved the episode! very gripping episode and many things happened today..

Megha and her Amar ke yaadein..the stress on Megha being content with her Amar ke yaadein and not wanting anything more in her life has been continued from the ME and today it was directly expressed too by her..really felt for Mohan here..but loved how he just came out of it to be back to his business..and very sweetly he was picking up each photo and showing it to her..his comfort level tho ban raha hain with all these Megha's yaadein of her past moments and those with Amar.. and he is not dwelling into it too much now..also not giving out too much by holding onto his feelings...just loved it!

I think the unopened gift has some clue..as it was given by Amar during his last days...i don't know but it is just my weird guess..
agree with you Anu, loved that moment when Mohan takes it and hides it as if to take away that painful memory.. they both were matchless in their expressions in this whole scene..anyways as per the precap, they got the CDs I think..and good thing was, by the entry of the police they also became sure of DN being scared and about the clue being in the house itself..

Guru though managed to bagao the kidnappers twice but eventually could not stop the worst..sadly many would be feeling the regret later that somehow they could not stop this from happening... like Jiji who could not wake up when Nanhi called her..
hope nanhi has Guru's mobile with her though it is unlikely that she would be carrying it around at night when she just woke up from sleep..hope she has it in her pocket or something..guru and the neighbor the main witness here where they have seen them closely..
and what was renu doing running with that jadu and sanjay behind her..😆..and they didn't even go outside to see what was all that about..😆..sab hero giri inside the house..

and the hero giri of Mohan and the chuha..🤣 🤣🤣🤣 aur ye raaz bhi khula ki it is guru who takes care of these things at home🤣 🤣..
per madam ki baatein tho maane padenge..and the way he finally managed to scare it off, it looked like he scared off many more chuhas too and who knows what else..🤣🤣🤣
