No doubt this 'love' story keeps us all glued.
We are besotted with it. We spin a thousand emotions and thoughts and feelings around it.
Tons of reviews, each one more beautiful than the other, make it so profound.
Tons of VM, picturised on lovely songs, make it so meaningful/
But once again I beg to differ if ARHI love is at this stage all that we make it out to be.
Love needs trust-something sorely lacking from both parties. While Arnav thinks Khushi is an adultress, liar and home breaker, Khushi thinks ASR is egoistic, snobbish and murderous.
There is no understanding between both. Arnav doesn't know what Khushi is all about. He doesn't understand that this girl is all heart and selflessness.
Khushi doesn't know that Arnav is all thunder and no rain. He never means those hurtful and hateful things he says or does to her.
Arnav doesn't know Khushi the person. All he knows are small things like what she fears and what she loves. But he doesn't know anything about a ton of stuff which makes Khushi what she is. Her past, her feelings for everyone from Anjali to Shyam to Akash.
Khushi doesn't know the real Arnav too. What made him so bitter? What made him lose all hope in life? What makes him a cynic? She has no clue.
So, despite epitomizing and worshipping this love, the way many do... I sadly feel especialy after the last few episodes that these two are miles away from true love, the way I define it. You may define it differently.
It is in the next few weeks that I am sure I will see the basic essence of love blossming between these two - Trust, understanding, knowing each other and valuing each other.
But does anyone think this is already true love and I am exaggerating? Let me know
