It was about a beautiful girls dream; her dream of finding her Prince Charming...Ek din Rajkumar Godi chadke aayega...It remained just a dream...Will it ever be realized? Will he full fill her dreams? She is still hurting...Can he ever make it up to her?

Today's episode was a well-grounded one; it had a little bit of everything. Musti with LG's repair center; meaningful and entertaining fillers with Buaji and damaadji bonding; Garima and Buaji's angregi cooking and hurting Khushi for ASR to see... Just when I was going thru an IPK low; and was coming up for some air the CV's throw me a lifeline...😃

LG ban gaya mechanic - yeh tho bahut talented nikla...Itna confidence, that he knew he could take back his dulhan to Shantivan. Why do I get the feeling LG will take her back as his dulhan this time? A symbolic wedding but in front of the Mohalla that counts...Khushi's godi pe chadke rajkumar sapna will be realized soon...Din mein sapne dekhna bandh kardo Sari...🤣

It's always about a challenge for these 2...😉

Bewakoof nikla LG, I expected a different kind of challenge. Yes, the gutter'wala...What a wasted opportunity...😆 LG just doesn't seem to use his god given bheja...Buaji to the rescue; that was a cute gesture extended to damaadji...She really thinks her damaadji is heera; chain factory ka maalik...😆

Sanka devi is buaji's clone. Was I reminded of the Nainital trip with the bluetooth wala Buaji-ASR filler? Sr. Sanka had some great zingers today; zucchini, yeh koyi chini hogi...🤣Aur baccha corren I mean makkai...😆 Both G'ladies think Khushi is the problem; KKG has done a wonderful job of covering up her LG's sins...What more proof does any want, She loves him...Yes, she loves him! I think when the time comes, the Gupta's will be the enablers again; helping LG patch up with his dulhan...😳

Btw, ASR ko ho kya gaya? He is amazingly in control of his emotions; his anger just evaporated. Is it the guilt? Is it Garima's khana? Public mein nahana or is it the innocent girl who was having a little too much fun at his expense? Or Bhagwan ne sach mein sadbuddhi di?😆 He just calms down looking at a playful Khushi; she gets a kick out of silly things & he did get a kick out if it too...I mean the real one... ☺️ But the girl remained clueless, true Sankadevi...😆

We are back to Khushi's dream of a beautiful wedding...the man of her dreams heard it all... He felt responsible, he crushed her dreams... His guilt was apparent & it's only going to hurt more once both find out the truth...They both were responsible; one for hiding the truth and the other for not trusting or at least giving her chance to explain...Both equally responsible...

but he will be hurting more...coz he treated her like an animal; throwing her out in the cold the very first night and leaving her there for days on end...The person he loves the most is the one he crushed ruthlessly...The real culprit is still running loose...

Is this another wedding in the making? Last time it was Payal, this time it's Preeto...But both times it is Arhi? They added the sangeet now, a teri meri in the making? Dulhan will get her greenwala lehenga w/chudiyan and the payal too; at the least a public acknowledgement is coming at Preeto's wedding...😳😳😳 Then he will take the dulhan to shantivan the next day... 😍 Will she know the truth before heading home? Either way she is going back now that she promised...😉 But once we go to RM; we are back to square one, snake and the Laad Governor...

Bottom line, they just want to skirt the real issue...as long as it takes...as long as the idiot in me is glued to the box...This last part was for me; to keep me grounded...I jump up & down over 1 good episode...🤣 & then come Mon, there we go again...*deep breath* Low expectations, my new mantra...😆😆😆

A huge part of my annoyance since yesterday has been the way the road to ME is being setup. If the ME is going to be about Khushi knowing the truth, why exactly are we being shown a build up on ASR's side?

Because that is what the GH stay has been about so far. He can handle anything. He can fix anything. He makes mistakes anjaane mein but when he realises it, he fixes it, quite nicely too. However , if we are heading towards a revelation for Khushi, then shouldn't the buildup be Khushi's hurt and why she deserves the answer??

And we got it today and I will come back to it. But look at how it was brought about. Mr. repair-anything is on a mission to repair everything that is presented to him. He started the episode with the goal to fix everything so that he can go to RM the next day and ended the episode being handed the biggest problem he has to fix, though he doesn't know the full extent of it yet.

The repentance track when it comes will be about Arnie fixing everything, agreed. But the hate track should have been about Khushi's hurt and broken dreams. Instead it was about Arnie's hate + guilt + unrequited (in his eyes) love.

There have been lots of hints these couple weeks on how the track is going to play out once the cat's out of the bag and they all come back to how he is Arnav Singh Raizada and how he can do anything.

And thus my annoyance. We can forget about the story being about Vaidehi(*shudder*) or didi-ki-saut(* double shudder*). The story is and will remain about how this man is the cause, effect and answer to everything that happens in IPKKND land. That is not such a bad thing though, because the CVs have shown time and again that they know and understand ASR a lot better than they do Khushi. Yes, I get it. He is IT, the aplha dog in this game. Every alpha dog needs a underdog, though. Someone that the audience can identify with and more importantly root for. Can we at least start seeing more of Khushi's side of the equation now that we have circled back to it FINALLY? If Khushi's hurt, broken heart, dreams and life are not highlighted, underlined, and set in bold times 10, W*F will be the basis for the repentance track or even her reaction to finding out why he married her ? Ghanta????

Now that I have that off my chest...

Today's episode was a nice friday episode. True to the storyboard, where they play around and pretend they are in la-la-land during the first four days on the week, they come back to reality on friday. Mostly, it is ASR who does the honors. Today, they brought Khushi's FB of the wedding night.

Can we just say a Hallelujah!!!! she remembers it!!!

So Khushi sets up the whole neighborhood to come to "Raizada Repair Centre" (foreshadowing, much?) and Arnie (oh wow, look how smart he is, see how it took him all of a second to realise this is Khushi's doing) challenges Khushi.

ASR: what do I get in return?

And of course, he is absolutely doing great fixing every random item from the 1800's that the neighbors come up with. And Khushi is smiling and proudly watching the proceedings. *ME: Do you want to go back to RM, you child bride? Am I watching the wrong channel?* Thank God for bua-ji. Arnie is studiously not saying a word while buaji dismisses everyone. Because HE, for one, does not want to go back to RM yet. And where Anji gives him the face saving excuse at RM, at GH it is his new best friend, Bua-ji who does the honors. (This is my version of the expressions on Barun's face in this scene and I am sticking to it. Damn if I know what else it was supposed to mean)

Does this mean the showdown will happen by the end of the day (the wedding and sangeet seem to be on the same day) and Arnie will be leaving on his own? Or will he use the condition for the challenge (which was never completed 😕 ) to take her back? There was a point to this, wasn't there?

The buaji-Arnie and bluetooth scene was funny. Arnie is realising the sanak runs in the family. You know like living in la-la-land does for the Raizada siblings. Anji does it in her mayka, Arnie does it in his sasuraal.

Garima and Buaji trying to cook Italian food in the middle of the wedding chaos (WTH??) made no sense but the makai ka bachcha was 😕. What would the dictionary have said about Zu-cchini?

The Gobar, pipe snaan again. Dear CVs, I am sure there is some symbology/metphor thing behind the constant snaan that he is subjected to, some purification, removing layers nonsense. Well, no one is getting it. So just drop it. 😡

A darn non-rabba ve, a very one-sided rabba ve at that, in between all that. He has just given up on the child-bride. First, she volunteers to sleep on the floor, then she is fine losing the challenge to go back to RM and now, here he is all set to rabba-ve her in the middle of the street and she is too busy spraying water to even notice. He just walks away. What does guy need to do to get some rabba-ve attention from his non-wife? Wait for her to climb a ladder again? What is the world coming to? If I were him I would turn the AC cooler by several notches, just saying.

And then of course, the big scene with Khushi talking about her non-wedding day. What a scene..👍🏼 brought back the intensity, the love-hate pull these two have with each other, the BG score ,everything that is vintage IPK. Khushi looked absolutely beautiful in the lehenga, her description of how she had dressed up for the wedding brought back the post wedding scene, the absolute longing with which she had looked at the Bridal Joda and Jewelry Anji had given to her. And this is where the 18 year old thing is used beautifully. Everyone has dreams about how their wedding, marriage and most importantly, the man they would be getting married to. At 18 , those dreams are more rose-tinted than most. To have those brutally ripped off as happened in Khushi's case, the hurt and the utter broken-ness of her was brought back in that scene. There is big part of her that is badly bruised, that she keeps hidden behind the brilliantly fake smile and today it was brought out for Arnie to see and ruminate over. I have said before that Sanaya crying is like a puppy has been hurt and she manages to touch the heart in these scenes.👏 Very, very touching way to end the week. Why was the sindoor and MS missing??

Nice closure to the week with viewers hitting the jackpot in Khushi's wardrobe department, finally!!. In the words of Arnav, Khushi looked "buuuetiful"!!

Raizada repair center is officially open for business. Buaji's chagrin on seeing this and admonishing Khushi - well done. When Buaji reminded him that he was "chain factory ka malik",Arnav's reaction was - ya right, I thought so too?!

Nice scene showing the Gupta ladies trying to read recepies for SIL. The smirk/smile
during water hosing - was it because he was happy that Khushi was having fun or was it because it is one more day and then you are back on my turf smile?. I am confused! I did not like the fact that they both were not in the same shot because they were not in the same scene together. There was a BD in the scene spraying water. Do not waste RV on scenes where they cannot have the leads in one frame.

The last 5 minutes was totally back to reality for Arnav and Khushi. The deep pain and hurt that she was hiding overflowed when she described her imagination as to how she was dressed for her wedding. Arnav watching it silently with a similar feeling of hurt
and pain. You could not help but feel for this girl and hope that one day Arnav will wed her again exactly in the grandiose and fully festive manner that she has imagined since she was a child. Sanaya emoted very well.

Let them extend the GH track till Sanaya is back. They need to have the actual confrontation scenes with both of them in the same frame, absolutely no body doubles!

Hi Sari and Spicegirls and Sush when u come later!! I was missing the hangout!! Anyway its been a long day and i actually managed to watched the epi way in the morning TGIF bc i hve fridays off oh yea..lol so anywy it seems like forever since i watched the epi!

I think it was a very well balanced epi.

Loved how Arnav brought back his challenging ways from before the wedding..so with u Sari i was like uff bas itna small bet dude ask for something more oo la la but dreams shattered he just wants to go back to RM! Sari stop getting my hopes up i love ur getting married again symbolically idea but CVs se koi umeed nahi!

I loved Buaji supporting the babua she is such a sweetie!! Khushi being silly and showering him with a hose..if not shirtless ASR cvs need to put in a wet one lol

Payal mami i skipped soo silly, though i like mamaji so much more then mami lol...

Best scene for me was the last one! Aww poor Khushi soo heartbroken over her wedding dreams that never came true! I hope Arnav makes them come true soon though!

Sanaya looked really pretty..Barun OMG totally what the yaar did Arnav not pack any clothes now just put a brown tie with the shirt?! Khushi buy your swami some nice clothes will ya!

From the sublime to the ridiculous, huh? How far have we travelled down the Rabba Way? ……. we're now at the gobar crossing. I can't even muster up enough anger to rail against it. I'm just so sad that what we loved about the RV is so far out of sight. 😭

Every epi RVs are forced down our throats. RV, RV everywhere, not one to satisfy a romantic heart! I'm beginning to wonder if this surfeit of RVs means that a hefty dose of nafrat is coming down the pike real soon, that we're being softened for a painful blow! I think I'm ready to be plunged back into the cauldron of hate…….. the Gupta House sojourn which seemed so promising on Tuesday, touched a low today.

Blessings: Well, the last scene between Arnav and Khushi –A mirror was held to his face where he saw that her dreams were at his feet and he cruelly trampled all over them. This is as close as we may get to a conversation between the two where Arnav is faced with his destructive cruelty in crushing the dreams of the girl he loves.

So definitely a blessing, but ….. somehow the scene lacked the poignancy of the one right after the wedding where Khushi sits at Arnav's feet and explains how she's been orphaned all over again and in an utterly pragmatic way just asks to understand why he did what he did. That is hands down my fave Sanaya scene but perhaps one of my faves on IPK

Thinking about why this didn't quite pack that punch –

- For one the creative team has worked hard at getting us to forget the emotional bloodbath that was the result of the MU. We've OD-ed on comedy and could be forgiven for having forgotten that the horrendous terrace scene ever happened.

- I like direct one-on-one dialog – it seems so much more transparent and honest. "Symbolic" devices like mirrors make me nervous and this was a bit heavy handed.

- I think Arnav was meant to feel a complex cocktail of emotions – regret, guilt, sadness, pain. Yet Barun managed to look mostly constipated! The aftermath of the gobar spa? 😉

- Finally, the dreams that Khushi unfurls for her friends are all about the trappings – the red and green bridal outfit, the jhumkas, the payals, the bangles, and the tikka. Yet, for Khushi the biggest regret over the forced wedding has to have been the lack of family – Payal helping her get ready, Amma adjusting her pallu, Buaji clucking over Sanka Devi, Bauji admiring his little princess as a bride – and the absence of their approval, their blessing. The dream Khushi wove didn't reflect that – it was all about the external, the accessories, not the heart or the soul.

Khushi for all her nuttiness, ditsiness and annoying exuberance is endearing because she is all heart. We've lost the essence of that Khushi. 😔

Hi Sari was so disappointed at not finding the hangout so thank you for making the post. the weekend is here yay!! And in IPKKND land the CVs have plummeted to new depths of crafting pathetic episodes. Right after the epi I wrote some pretty scathing thoughts but toned it down later though only a tad.

What the hell was that epi? The only saving grace was the last couple of mins. The rest was beyond cringeworthy. I'll still be watching it onMondaybut thats only because I am a hopeless case and/or that ASR is a chic magnet. Coz frankly Sanaya is beginning to lose it big time as far as I am concerned- whether it is the characterization or her own disconnect I don't know. In any case Khushi's feelings just don't come through esp in all those wholesale rabba ves.

A gobhar covered ASR being hosed by his crazed biwi is occasion for rabba ve???? What crap Seriously CVs are you freaking kidding me!!!!

The Raizada repair shop in action, maami's inane track which even in ff mode did not seem to pass fast enough- this episode was mostly just a massive wreck.

The GH ladies attempts at reading English could have been endearing except they were unrealistic- for someone who was educated only upto Grade 4 buaji was real quick with words. Makkai ka batcha atleast evoked a faint smile so won't complain too much.

So coming to the only positive last bit- Sanaya was excellent in conveying the hurt that has been inflicted and which she is still very much carrying just under the surface.

Atleast ASR had the grace to look shame-faced. Otherwise could not decipher ASR's expressions there - I could have sworn I saw him smile when her friends spoke about not having been invited to her wedding. And that didn't make sense.

It was a poignant moment that the two shared and was very well executed. The sad rabba ve background scored was fantastic.

Is the regret going to make Arnav blurt out the reasons for the contract marriage?

Preeto's marriage track certainly has potential to make the leads realize how their own is in shambles and to drive some home truth's down ASR's throats. If only the CVs will distract themselves from domesticating Arnav and having "crazed- gleam -in -the -eyes Khushi stop her plotting.

Precap scare: there was no pre-cap. Does Nandini's talk of sangeet mean another epi(s) of "so you think you can dance" is on the cards?? Lord please NO!!!

Weekend to-dos for the CVs should includeworking on the onerous task of retrieving their brains and putting this crumbling house in order.

The neglect of ASR's hair and grooming when he is pretty much the only thing holding this enterprise together? This should be legally punishable
