Apr.22nd: A perfectly adorable family

So the super episode is finally here😆...Good epi overall barring some cheese here and there...but there were some pretty sweet moments and typical Mohan-isms sprinkled in so I'd give it a thumbs up from my end :-)

I wish I could do a bigger essay but I'm in a it of a rush...so pointing out the bits I liked :


1) During the dance, the bit where Megha gets uncomfortable after Mohan puts his hand on her waist so he like moves it out like one inch out just hovering in the air😆😆 and motions with his head to ask her if she's comfortable now😆

Once again they used the "Megha will do anything to respond to Rashmi's taunts" formula to get her to agree for the dance...I liked how Mohan was reluctant and tried his best to get out of it before having to give in.


2) Mohan's made up on the spot proposal story😆...I liked the way both of them were fumbling and trying to give each other cues to continue the story until Mohan finally gets caught up in the moment and verbalizes his actual feelings...in all this I liked the symbolism of Mohan saying that he took her hand to help her over the gaddhe in the road and thought to himself will he lose that once the journey is over? Lovely lines in this scene...Kunal acted it out very well too...and Megha...LOL oblivious as ever is complimenting him on his "acting" after this *shakes head*


3) Gautam is deffo a nice guy and doesn't seem materialistic...liked his genuine appreciation for Mohan's speech and the point he made about Mohan having a way with words and since he himself doesn't have it, he had to make do with the giant bauble on Rashmi's finger to propose😆

Oh and how can I forget to mention...they played "when you say nothing at all" in the beginning of the scene!😆...English equivalent to 'na bole tum'😆...and yeah Rashmi continues to get upset seeing the genuine bond b/w MM.


4) Mohan's reaction to Gautam telling him that it was HIS idea to give them some privacy in a room together..."Masttt hai" LOL love Mohan's sarcasm as always😆

5) Mohan's attempts to make Megha comfortable in the room and actually leave as well but it didn't work out.


6) The bit with the equating of the earring being found to Mohan getting Rashmi back in his life again just left me😕...so Megha is actually going to attempt to get these two together again...great...what was the point of this lame husband-wife drama then?😕😆...you pretended to be his WIFE, Megha...not his GIRLFRIEND😆...what kind of a far-fetched random plan WAS this?

Oh well...this is how they are going to drag this out it seems...even though Mohan is more than madly in love with Megha now and it's only Megha 24/7 on his mind😆...the irony is that it's only RASHMI who is busy flaunting her life in Mohan's face...Mohan couldn't care less...but megha can't seem to understand that😕


7) I actually thought Mohan WON'T return the earring to Megha but he did😆...the way he was sitting and just smiling at the earring was amusing me😆...and the khule baal waali imagination...lol...a bit random but oh well.


8) Mohan was reading Marley and Me! Awww...and the way he was sleeping with his mouth open like a chhota baccha😆


9) Megha saying ki yeh toh Addu se bhi battar hai when Mohan goes PAKAA MAT in the morning when she tries to wake him up😆


10) Mohan coming out of his imagination and the imaginary chai scene he uses to lighten the awkwardness...cutee😆...and so much more MM...they don't seem to realize how comfortable they've become in their pati-patni roles😆


11) MEGA CUTE Mohan scene with the kids...like SUPER AWWW also wouldn't do justice to describe this...Mohan tying Addu's shoelaces while being supervised by his Chavanni and then Nanhi teaching him to braid her hair...just awww like tooo sweet yaar! And Megha watching this in amusement and finally joining them and braiding Nanhi's hair...and Mohan watching them all...they sacchi did look like a perfect family in that last shot and that is what Gautam comments on as well.

But Rashmi is too busy being insecure...and I guess now she's going to try some cheap tricks to get back into Mohan's life cuz she feels THAT was a perfect life she lost out on...hmmm


Nice epi...I liked the lift wala super-episode more but this was good too...

And i wasnt too sure abt the epi to begin with but it turned out to b quite aww and i liked it splly the last bit ...the family scene ...def not as gud as the lift Super epi ...but def a gud one on its own !!!! and i liked the song choice today ...both u say it best and darmiyan !!!👍🏼

I hoped they play the english song for the dance, but they switched to "darmiyaan". I was a little bit disappointed, though this was played in SBB.

So I caught up on the episode and I am surprised that all the cliches played out well. Let me start with the initial scene where Mohan kind of confesses his true feelings for her, the dialogues were much better than the "Pyaar mujhe insey nahin" scene, like you said. What I truly LOVED there was Mohan's subtle moment of realization - as he begins to narrate the fake story of their proposal and says that somewhere his life got entwined with hers and he did not realize it he has his epiphany at THAT moment! So he pauses and reflects on what he just said and then it becomes crystal clear to him , immediately Mohan's tone changes completely, from ramming his brain while trying hard to weave a story to just spilling out what he truly felt, the scene flowed wonderfully- the change of Mohan's body language and the way he confidently looks at her while saying all this was amazingly SUBTLE. I especially LOVED Kunal's acting there - his voice modulation, change of expression and body language before his reflection and after - excellent! 👏 👏 I can take a MILLION realizations like this over "what is happening to me? No, this cannot be!" soliloquies ANY DAY!

Coming to the dance scene - first of all THANK GOD Megha did not hyperventilate at Mohan's touch and no electricity was generated in either of their bodies! It was obviously awkward for Megha so Mohan understands and tries to make her feel comfortable by moving his hand away and then checking if she is feeling comfortable now with a slight head tilt and I could feel the essence of M-M in that bit. Rash is now literally in flames seeing M-M's "chemistry" (I swear, no pun intended), ironic how Rash is living the ultimate fan girl fantasy eh?! 😆 But seriously she is DUMB- she was being too obvious and that was making G also uncomfortable but she couldn't see that 😕 but I guess Gautam knows better how to handle Rash's silly tantrums and doesn't give a crap that she walked off with a sudden PMS-like fit. He goes to check on the kids instead. G seems to be enjoying the kids' company a lot, may be he mentioned to Rash about starting a family after their wedding and that sort of turned a bone of contention between them?!!! There seemed to be a bit of hostility between the two.

Now we are back to the room and Gautam insists that they have some "privacy" and I get to witness MOHAN-ISM of the DAY thanks to that - "Your idea? Mmmast hain!!!" 🤣 I LOVE LOVE LOVE the style in which Mohan delivers the dialogue with sarcasm, of course Megha can't get it and she is shocked! 🤣🤣 Mohan realizes what he has done and tries to somehow get them out of this sticky situation but their plans fail so they end up sharing the room! Rash has to be extra considerate towards Mohan just to show off how much she knows Mohan, in front of Megha 🥱 but G, for once, was my hero there - he totally shut her up saying it is not her business but M's to take care of Mohan! Go Gautam! 👏

The conversation about the ear-hanging was good and I actually liked the way Mohan having her ear-hanging was woven, he did not collect it as if it were some love memorabilia, he took it because he genuinely did not WANT Megha to find her ear-hanging because that meant he'd get Rashmi back , awww, it was like this little superstition for him! 😆 No comments on Megha thinking that Rash cares for him, I wish Nanhi were here, she would have drilled some sense into her mom's head perhaps 🤔. Anyways, Mohan duly returns the ear-hanging the next morning after Megha successfully manages to wake him up despite his "PAKAA MAT" and "Addu se bhi gaye guzrey" ways and of course he has to be taken in by how Megha is wearing it on her ear, letting her hair down loose in the process and he has to imagine helping her knot her hair - rules of TV love and "chemistry" 😛. Anyhow skipping over that, Mohan starts off chai banter to quell the awkwardness LOL and the invisible chai act was totally up Mohan-Megha's alley! I really liked the scene ⭐️ ⭐️

Then of course the highest point of the episode - Nanhi-Mohan-Addu scene! No amount of words would do justice to it. It was plain awesomeness! Starting with Addu-Mohan light bickering over shoe laces and then M showing him how to tie the laces under his teacher N's supervision awww to Addu throwing his other leg on M as if ordering him to tie that too, it was really cute! Of course he doesn't care about learning it duh-huh! He just enjoys annoying Mohan! 😆 And the MEGA AD-AWW-ABLE braiding scene between M-N, I don't know HOW but each time M-N just manage to outdo their last awesome scene with an even more awesome one in the next, they are a league of their own and NO OTHER relationship in this show can even COME CLOSE to the standard of M-N no matter how well developed and wonderful it is, M-N relation surpasses even Megha-Nanhi's blood relation! I just BOW to the writers for penning this piece of pure brilliance that is Mohan-Nanhi! The last scene was indeed a perfect family portrait as G observed. No comments on Rash's PMS-fits though !!!!

I would like to credit Kunal and Akanksha, especially Kunal for saving most of the cliched cheesy scenes today! Like I was telling you earlier, Kunal is doing a MUCH BETTER job of portraying the romantic side of Mohan than the "hawt" hunks! Even though I am not a fan of Mohan gazing at Megha, I am able to buy it because of K's wonderful performance, most importantly, the WAY he looks at her with this brimming, overwhelming admiration than "passion".

And I wanted to add, that Gautam was more than a dummy in today's episode - his character is slowly picking up, I am waiting to see if it has more shades to it!

Apart from that, Anu, did you see how the fountain sprung up in the background as De Re Naa started playing so dramatically the moment Mohan said "main aapse pyaar karta hoon" to Megha and they had an eyelock?!!! I found it damn funny! 😆

Precap : FIL looks furious, god knows what will happen hmmm...

I had missed some bit of today epi. Bt w8ever i saw it was superb. And mohan's expression was awesome, when he was saying his feeling nd when meghan were in state of dancing.

superb write up .. Evn i wished that they play when u say nothing at all for megha and mohan ... But darmiyan .. Ok ... What an awww epi .. I also thot he wldnt retrn her 'baali' .. Hehe .. Mohan is head over heels in love with mega and it's nice ... I especially lovd the scene when he says their story .. When he confesses mujhe aapse pyaar hai the fountain in the background stars .. And water splashes ... Beautiful i thot so ...
