Another fantastic take Swasthi.

As I watched I realized he thought he was going to be free of this guilt soon, but instead not only does he get more guilt on top of that there is humiliation and shame. His mind shut down and he couldn't talk even if he wanted to. When the marriage broke and Nilesh and his father were leaving he was only able to shake his head no.

Favors in Ahemji's point today. He may not have acknowledge Gopi with a look but he is well aware who resides in his heart.

When Gopi was injured and he carried her he was besides himself, and even when he brought her home and carried her up his feeling were overwhelming, but today when he carried Anita part of him was detached. He wasn't thinking I am carrying the person I love or still have lingering feelings for. He was not beside the stretcher when she was rolled into the hospital, he wasn't holding her hand nor did he try to wake her. All he wanted was for her to checked on quickly.

Then of course there is more to come, Anita doesn't have anywhere to go, and now the shock is so great she cannot remember the fact that the marriage was called off, and thinks the marriage took place and is now asking for her husband.

All through this emotional roller coaster he did acknowledge Gopi and thanked her for being there for him. He knows that his Gopi trusts him completely, only thing he does not know is that Gopi does not trust his feelings for her because he has not voiced them out loud.

This is a good thing what is happening now. He will now help Anita with Gopi supporting him to get back with Nilesh. This will free him of his guilt for hurting her in the past and present also.

Let's see what next week brings us, but I know one thing Gopi will not misunderstand him and will stand by him, but after Anita is gone, her doubts will have to be dealt by him.

loved your post 👏...i was relieved at watching today's episode...i cant pinpoint any particular scene or reaction to explain this but i am quite certain that whatever ahem is doing for anita is only out of a feeling of immense guilt and responsibility since he is directly and indirectly responsible for her being in this mess...infact in the precap ahem looked almost desperate to set things right..didnt look like a man in love with his ex..

Nice post Swasthi. One wishes that he remembers what he said to her on the escalator and will hold do it. He may be breaking inside but has he seen his little china doll that is Gopi. She has broken time and time again. If she is to be his strength then he needs to look beyond his pain to put her together again. Only then will she feel the need to stand by him. Just my thoughts. Total waffle as usual.

He felt guilt-ridden, embarrassed, ashamed and humiliated. This look could not be missed on his face and in his eyes.

As the events unfolded two things needs to be raised:

1. At his mother's insistence Gopi stayed behind with Ahem at the hospital. Gopi in turned gave him immense unspoken strength. This he had observed as she took care of the people around and even calmed his mother on the phone. He was amazed at her ability to be in calm control of the situation whilst he was breaking inside. He was grateful for this and expressed his thanks to her.

2. The resounding words by Anita - what kind of husband would leave his wife on the first night of marriage? Will Ahem think back to his wedding night and the treatment he had given to Gopi when he came into the room?

Whilst Gopi took care of Ahem's personal material needs, she continues to take care of him but this time it is his emotional needs. She is gradually enveloping him completely.

Like he had told Gopi when he helped her up the escalator, mein tumhara saath saath rahonga ... mein hoon na, so too is she doing the same. With this the way forward is clear. Ahem will free his past and present encounters with Anita and move on with his life with Gopi.
