I had the same feeling Anu - I was like "Wait! Am I really liking the episode? Or am I under the illusion that I am liking it" 😆. I guess having very very low expectations and bracing ourselves up helped a LOT!

BTW, you missed the beginning which was essentially a repeat telecast of yesterday's last scene. I don't know if I am the the only one who found it OTT when G started clapping after hearing Mohan's dialogue or may be directors decided to give him some footage apart from showing him as a dummy? Or...dare I hope...that he was truly impressed by what Mohan said about her character and dignity and felt a kind of *gulp* *says cautiously* respect for M-M?

The bits I liked:


1) The Mohan-Addu bonding...sweet scenes during the cricket match and aww Addu kitni KHUSHI KHUSHI use Spiderman bulaane lag padaa hai...makes you think a child's love and affection is so easy to win in a way too...

Aww I know! I love the bit where Addu throws a tantrum as he gets out - "main nahin kheloonga" 😆, Addu was such a cheek-pull worthy little boy there, I love his innocence *pulls Addu's cheeks*.

2) Mohan-Nanhi giving each other a flying kiss...LOLL...never gets old for me and just lights up the epi for me.
Damn! I missed this, I think I went to drink water then! *runs to catch the episode*

3) Megha's reaction to the Mohan-Addu bonding...I thought it was a nice poignant moment...I connected with the characters/storyline there.

I also liked the way Megha was feeling happy about Mohan cajoling and coaching Addu on how to play, there was this hint of satisfaction in her eyes when she saw Addu playing well after listening to Mohan - as a mother, her happiness lies in her children and she derives her strength from them but somewhere she knows that no matter how hard she tries she can never play their father, she cannot play that guide and when Mohan became Addu's unassuming guide, it was evident that she felt thankful and more respectful towards him. I was thinking that may be the children would be a huge factor in Megha's decision to accept Mohan in the future?

4) Shocker of the day...Jeeji bonding with that Rashmi's mom? Woah...loll...although it was cute to see the two of them giggling over Ranbir Kapoor😆...and now suddenly they are BFFs...Rashmi ki mom ki saari akkad bhi nikal gayi? Wow

TELL ME ABOUT IT! As sweet as it was to see them getting all giggly about Ranbir Kapoor, it felt kinda out of the blue?! SUN NA?! CHAL NA?! Saree shopping?!! Whoa! That was faster than the pizza delivery services 😆


5) Forgot to mention...Gautam does seem like a nice guy...even if one-dimensional...atleast he isn't' being catty like Rashmi

Yes, I felt that too today- he seemed to genuinely enjoy his time with the kids and Mohan when they were playing cricket.


6) The Mohan-Rashmi convo...long overdue...this should have happened two-three episodes back...anyways, better late than never...maybe Mohan needed to loosen up through all those arm wrestling and cricket competitions😕😆...so anyways I loved Mohan's body language through all this...Rashmi feeling insecure as always trying to remind Mohan of their past memories together to get some kind of reaction out of him but for a change Mohan wasn't listening quietly with his head bowed and actually looked much more relaxed and confident...Rashmi kept blabbing but he gave her good responses and to the point...glad he mentioned that she didn't even have any hesitation in leaving him...this is one those SHIKVE that Megha had told him he needs to clear out...so I was glad to see him verbalizing that...

Rashmi toh sadd gayi cuz she got put in her place by Mohan...but kept looking at him reproachfully and in confusion baad mein bhi...which Megha did notice...

Honestly I cannot understand Rash-me! When she first met him, she said "tum itney badey loser toh nahin hogey" and today she was getting all nostalgic about their past?! What should I make of this woman? And she said "I was a bit too ambitious" to Mohan, what the hell did she mean by that? That she regrets her decision now? That she just had this amazing epiphany of what an idiot she has been when she saw him happy? Or did she just want to test how much of a hold she STILL has on him? What IS she trying to accomplish with all of this? I am glad Mohan acted confident and was more in his element around her today, instead of meekly digesting all the crap she was saying, like he has been doing for a while now. I loved Mohan's disinterested body language and expressions when she was trying to remind him of their dance or whatever! The dialogues were really good there, like you said he did get some of his complaints off his chest, I can see the burden getting lighter on Mohan slowly, I think Amar being brought up by Super Rash served its purpose today! So yes in a nutshell, we saw some PROGRESS finally. Better late than never!


7) The last Mohan-Megha scene...LOL sometimes I think Mohan is the voice of the audience...it's like he verbalizes everything that has irritated some of us about this entire drama😆😆...all he told Megha about how use zyada hi shauk chadha hua tha drama karne kaa😆...Liked the roothna-manana in this scene...liked the new hybrid si tune they played in that bit too...Mohan's "I'm sorry" was naturally done too...and Megha's "sun naa" LOL this is SO Aakanksha...Megha toh us moment mein khatam hi ho jaati hai...she was totally talking like real Aakanksha...with a TAPORI vibe😆

Anu you felt that too? 😆 I was also like "Mohan thank you for saying that out loud for us" 😆 and special mention to his dig about their "acting ki beemari" (wait, am I paraphrasing that again? 🤔). The scene had that natural M-M vibe to it, as in I felt that connect with M-M for the first time this week and Megha's "sun na...tumho ki mujhe acting dikhaaney ka mauka hi nahin dete ho" act felt more like AS than M as you've mentioned! I liked Mohan's "bilkul beti par gayi hain" 😆 more than Mohan's earlier "bilkul maa pe gayi hai" about Nanhi! The apology was very natural, I especially liked Mohan's body language there, the way he dug his hands in pocket and shrugged while apologizing brought back that chilled out dude aura of Mohan! ⭐️ The crossing of fingers was ..ummm.. okay!

So no precap...or did I miss it? Chalo big drama coming up...I guess the maha-episode will have all the dance, room sharing, earring, khule baal stuff and then end mein explosion of FIL or someone showing up there...kuch toh pangaa hoga hi...since the FIL is so suspicious now.

Yup! There was no precap. Hmm jeeji tried to cover up for Megha but it remains to be seen whether FIL was convinced by that or not...

I liked the scene between Mohan n Addu so much...they are slowing building up their bond which is very good...
