I am glad you brought this up - Ghar Ghar ki kahani hai yeh so ...Atleast it gives me a moral support as to I am not the only mother facing this issue - Oh My daughters poor them - They are not allowed to go to the b'day parties just because the dad does not know their parents and the dad even does not want to make effort to know them - How Pathetic for the girls. It is a never ending saga and trust me the major reason for any husband wife fight-😡

Oh I know..I can completely sympathise..I have seen my mum making a special effort just so that we get to do what we want to do!! luckily for me, my mum used to stand my me and support my decisions as a result of which I am here in UK. its also the case that I have been leading an independent life for all these years and now all of a sudden it feels like I am going to be answerable to everything I do..so I really dont know what to expect!!
