While yesterday's sequences was about liberties and giving in, today the lesson starts on defining boundaries - when elasticity of their relationship are tested... His need to control - a tad too much and she taking liberties - a tad too much.. And hence my rantings..
Arnav-Khushi office scene: - A simple sequence: While Arnav tries to tell Khushi that her dhabba business is not going to run in AR, she simple defies him and walks off..
While he asks her to sit to talk, she makes it look like she wanted to sit as she has been tired.. While he tries to discuss paitiently the need for her business - she rants off on the problems in her business... While he forces her to look at him, so that he can control - control her to stop the dhabba business - she uses the conversation to decide on a name for her business.. While he questions her what was special about her food - she reminds him how contently he ate yesterday..
He tries to exercise control on her and her actions.. While his methods are different with paitience galore - making her sit to talk etc.. he still tries to exercise control - a little too much - not giving her the reasons - but expecting her to accept it..
While his methods give her the space - she is the testing the limits - of taking liberties - not trying to listen, or explain - but exercising at will - with total ignorance to him.. - giving a damn to his control.. Would this snap his patience..
While he needs to learn not to control too much, she needs to learn to the limits to liberties that she can take with him.. While his control on her life makes her rebel and take too many liberties, her rebellion may break his patience.. (Will wait for Monday's episode to continue here..)
The stage is set for them to learn the limits of control and the boundaries of liberties that can be taken in a relationship.. The elasticity of the relationship is tested - taking too much control or taking too much liberties, is bound to snap it.. I am waiting for Monday to see how they are going to unfold this out..
From the story perspective -
Arnav decided to stop putting money into Shyam-Anjali's joint a/c. Shyam is in a backseat now.. His intention to win Arnav's trust is going to stop him from questioning Arnav's decision. If he starts a proxy war through Anjali, Arnav is going to get suspicious.. So is Shyam going to play mouse for a while.. When would Shyam's control snap?
Khushi is starting a business to repay the paltry sum of Rs. 300.. What a message it sends to Arnav.. The girl whom he thinks is a betrayer is fighting odds, working hard to repay his loan.. The reality versus his jaundiced view.. Though they are not talking about the MU, the scenes are completely setup for Arnav to learn Khushi's innocence through life's experiences..
And Khushi is seeing Arnav's patience- his methods - would she understand his underlying love.. Will wait and watch..
In an odd way - the boundaryless control and liberties is why Arnav and Khushi are in this state of forcefully wedded.. While he showed too much control - forcing her to marry him, without giving any reasons - she has taken too much liberty by not telling him or Anjali about Shyam's truth.. Would be interesting to see how this track unfolds..
I am loving the fact that Khushi is starting a business.. While her previous attempts as KKG have failed - I am sure the new KKGSR is going to succeed.. ASR will not let his wife lose... (While he controls his employees to cancel their orders - he reminds them to address her as Ma'm) Waiting to see this in action..
I loved the way Naniji accepted KKG's job and the need to be 'standing on her own legs'.. Though she wanted marriage to happen according to customs and traditions, she yet again proved to be level headed in practical matters of life..
The new lesson in their relationship has started - setting boundaries on control and liberties... Arnav and Khushi's journey continues..
