Imran had Two hits last year , Delhi Belly and Mere Brother ki dulhan yet he is not getting good projects and Not the first choice for the roles

Imran has only Two forthcoming movies , Matru ki Bijli ka mandola and Once upon a time in Mumbai 2 ( and he was not the first choice )

even Ranveer Singh is getting more offers and better offers

So is it bcz he can't make a movie hit ? ( both his hits last year were not his movies ... DB was mamu's movie and MBKD was Katrina's movie )

and now he has to face more competition ...first it was only Ranbir Kapoor but now more are coming ... Arjun Kapoor and Ranveer singh

How long he will be able to survive or He will be like Jr AB ...will keep getting movies bcz of Mamu ?

he always does movies with people with more star power than him

break ke baad - horrible movie but deepika had more screen space. both were so bad hence didnt do any good to his career

mbkd - kat stole the show. it was her movie

emaet - kareena is more popular and the movie was not that great

It's because he is a horrible actor and everyone and their dog knows it. So he will always be the second or third choice until that too eventually gets taken away. He will go the Abhisekh way or fade away like Fardeen.

Well I just would like to say one thing...

there is a dialogue in which he asks his friend...'ghar bhi nahi chodega..kiraya bhi nahi..yeh kaise karega'

the way he speaks this line is enuff proof tht the dude needs acting classes...just wearing a bad make up and wacky clothes or smooching an older woman doesn't make him a great actor...his fatty friend...The just mohabbat DUDE is a much better actor than him becoz he is natural

he is a very bad actor. it is also a shame that a lot of hard working actors who struggle cant get a break cuz people like imran khan get the roles he doesnt deserve it

yah now for Second and third choice too competition is strong ... ... he will get bacha kucha 😆 ...yah He will be like Fardeen ... Jr AB still managed many movies and better actor Thank IK

this year even Filmfare Dropped him and Took Ranbir and SRK ...next year it will be may be Ranveer -Ranbir or Ranbir -Arjun ... No IK 😆

Omg when IK-RK hosted Filmfare for the first time... I loved them together, but IK was so bad. Ranbir was more at ease, while Imran was nervous the whole time, and it was so obvious. 😆

Coming to your actual question, I actually like Imran more than Ranveer as a person (Idk I feel like Ranveer thinks he's a big shot after BBB, and comes off to me as being really cocky). But in terms of acting? Ranveer is definitely ahead of Imran. And everyone knows that Ranbir is ahead of him too.

I think Imran is really bad with his dialogue delivery, and he should definitely take some classes or practice or something. I really loved his acting in JTYJN, and thought it was great for a newbie, but every movie after that didn't impress me much. I don't want him to fade out, but I won't be surprised if he does end up like a Fardeen.

@Hotmess : that i agree with u...i can tolerate Imran anyday but can't Ranveer...becoz he is even more overrated than him...why people think BBB makes him a great actor...in tht case imran wasn't bad in JTYJN either but problem with imran tht he has been repeating himself and getting worse with each film...but still i hate Ranveer more than him...his FACE 🤢

I dont think we can dismiss IK. He will be around as long as he can bag projects and he bagging them alright. He recently bagged OUATIM2 and is also going to do Milan Takies with Tigmanshu Dhulia. Agreed that he wasnt the first choice for these projects but BO record matters a lot in BW. And his recent movies like DB and MBKD were hits and EMAET was average which is better than people like Abhishek, Prateik, Shahid.
For all younger roles in BW the choice is between Ranveer, Ranbir and IK. Fortunately for Ranveer and IK Ranbir is taking the Aamir Khan route leaving many roles and letting them take those up.
