With Ahem's heart swelling with love for his wife as she had acknowledged them as husband & wife, he could no longer be away from her. With also knowing that she was sad because she had not played holi with her kanaj, Ahem wanted to ensure she was happy & that she could play holi without holding back. As he was searching for her, he came across a couple, his brother & his wife applying colour on each other with the love they felt for each other. It gave Ahem an idea on how he wanted to spend this Holi. He wanted to colour his wife & also let her colour him. He knew that would bring out a pleasant blush & smile on her face. He wanted to touch her & at the same time let her small soft hands touch his cheeks while applying colour.
Ahem found her wishing others by applying colour on their cheeks. He stood opposite to her in anticipation that she would come & apply colour to him. As their neighbour pointed to Gopi that Ahem was without colour, he was finally happy that now she would come & colour him with the colours of Holi. But her response to the neighbour with longingess in her voice that Ahem does not like colours, made him realise that she was not applying colour on him because he did not like it in the past. He knew that in whatever senario, she always ensures his choice & happiness is taken care off & she will never do anything against it. He knew that he had to take the 1st step to reachout to her & tell her that he wanted to play holi only with her. He immediately turned & took colour in his hand to colour her with the love he felt for her & also to get her colour him. He visualised in his mind on how she would be suprised by his action & how she would slowly smile & blush & finally her happiness would reflect in her eyes.
As Ahem was about to go to her, Jigar stopped him & caught him with colour in his hands. As Jigar teased him, about Ahem not liking colours & now he himself was holding colours in his hand, Ahem knew he was caught by his brother. As he was being teased , Ahem's complete attention was on Gopi. As Jigar continued to tease him so that his wife also heard that this time he would not feel bad if someone applied colour on him, Ahem knew that his brother understood his inner feelings & was pulling him. With his inner feelings so obvious to her, he did not deny what Jigar said & wished Jigar by applying colour. As Jigar insisted that they go apply colour on others, Ahem did not want to go. He wanted to only colour his wife & only wanted her to colour him. He turned immediately to look for her & found that she was not there.
Gopi kept observing her husband from the time he was standing opposite to her. She always hoped that she would be able to colour her Ahemji but as she knew he did not like colours, she stopped herself. She saw Ahem taking colours in his hands & then she heard her devarji, teasing her husband. As her husband was teased, she saw him indirectly agreeing to play holi with colours. Gopi's could not control her happiness & wanted to colour her Ahemji. She took few minutes to calm her happy heart that finally her dream of colouring her Ahemji was coming true. With this happiness she took colour in her hands to apply it on him. As she was about to reach him, she heard her MIL call her & asking her to bring more drink from the kitchen. It disappointed Gopi that she was near her Ahemji & yet she could not colour him. Did she think at that moment on how did she think he would like her to apply colour on him. Did she also think that she stopped herself on time & not make him angry by applying colour. With that heavy heart she moved away from there to take care of other things.
Ahem observed her disappointment & sadness when his mom called her to bring somemore drink from the kitchen. He saw she had colour in both the hands & was close to him. She looked back at him with disappointment in her eyes that she was so near him & still could not colour him. Yet she turned around & went to fulfill her duties. Ahem understood her desire to colour him & knew at that point he had to do something to bring back the spark of happiness on her. He also understood that it was his doing in the past that she was so hesistant now & that he is the one who has to get her to be comfortable with him to share each other's joy.
As Gopi cameout with the drink for all, Ahem saw an opportunity to colour her & immediately picked the colour. He was happy that she was finally there so that he could colour her now . As he was about to reach her, he saw his mom was talking to Gopi & waited till she left. By the time his mom left, his dad pulled him away to meet other people.
With losing out on all opportunities of colouring his wife, Ahem was lost & did not know what to do. He kept walking around searching for her, hoping that he gets to be alone with her to apply colour & wish her & also get her to colour him ! As he walking around searching for her, he dashed into someone to latter realize that both of them had dashed into each other. It finally put his heart at peace that finally he found her. As Ahem observed that Gopi had a worried look on her face because she dashed into him, he immediately wanted to put her at ease. He asked her about her feet to get her to talk to him. As she offered him laddu, saying that she knew he did not like sweets but because it was a prasad she was offering him. He saw her head bent down when she asked him. He could not say no to her & break her heart. Thou he did not like it, but as he said yes, he saw the happiness reflect on her face. As he ate the laddu he observed happiness on her face. Today Ahem in love wants to please his wife & only see happiness reflect on her face. His happiness is now directly related to her happiness & he is ready to do things such as playing holi, eating sweets, which he never liked & never did in his life. But if those things bring happiness to her he is ready to do that only for her happiness.
With having her near him was fluttering his heart & with the love he felt for her, he was about to wish her Happy Holi. As he was about to wish her, he heard his mom calling Gopi & Gopi responding to the call. Even before he could continue, she walked away from him saying that Maaji was calling her. That moment it broke his heart as he saw her walking away from him. Ahem held the colour in his hand all thru hoping that he would get to just spend few minutes with her sharing the love he felt for her & colour her, but with her moving away, it disappointed him that his wife did not understand & reciprocate his feelings. He hoped that she would just turn around & he could just colour her.
Today Ahem felt his heart break as she walked away from him. Did it occur to him that there were so many times in the past where she had hoped he would just be there for her & love her, but he walked away from her breaking her simple heart. Unknowingly Ahem has eaten Bhaang ka laddu. Last year Gopi had it & she expressed what she felt for him & it irritated him. Latter when she did not remember what she did & asked him for forgiveness, he told her that he also does not remember it. Today with his feelings not being reciprocated what will Ahem do? Will he share his feelings with her & make her happy. But when she realizes that he had done it with Bhaang effect , it might not bring her that happiness. When the Bhaang ka nasha comes down, will Ahem remember what he has done & will he be happy with it or will he also not remember & confuse her more. If he does not remember it will push her further away from him which will in turn confuse him as he will not know why she is moving away from him !!!
