Some sequences and my rantings..

Khushi's monologue: Moments of clarity muddled in confusion..

How did she hurt him? When did she hurt him? Does Arnav know about Shyam and her engagement? No, No, she declares - How can he possibly know about Shyam and her engagement.. Who could have told him.. Her own reflection that she wanted to tell, but did'nt (Oh, not that path girl.. Don't think who might have told.. Rather what he might have seen) And yet the responsibility in her shows when she thinks how delicately the situation has to be handled.. Khushi at her best - always trying to find a solution irrespective of the difficulties and the situation.. Her optimisitic spirit continues.. Go girl..

Khushi was talking about her engagement with Shyam, not the terrace scene.. Khushi has warmed up to the reason why Arnav may have forced the wedding.. but not yet there.. Just warmed up.. Interesting coincidence that Arnav and Khushi have Anjali's happiness in mind..

Arnav-Shyam-Jalebi: Shyam's mask slipping..

It was expected is'nt it.. Being in the receiving end, Shyam was bound to make mistakes.. So, here goes the first one.. Almost caught when he said, Khushi must have made the jalebis and the fact that he knows Khushi makes jalebis when something is bothering her.. Just as his mask was about to slip in front of Anjali and mamiji, Arnav comes to Anjali's (his?) protection and declares he told Shyam about Khushi.. Was there a stress, when he said, he knows all about her.. I wonder..

Mamiji's Bond instincts were spot on.. Continue this, mamiji.. Maybe she'll be the first one to crack on Shyam's double game..

Shyam-Arnav equation.. Shyam is seeing that Arnav does not want Anjali to know the truth about Shyam and Khushi at any cost.. Would Shyam manipulate on Arnav's vulnerability.. Would Shyam blackmail Arnav to do stuff so that Anjali can be kept away from the truth.. Will wait and watch..

Anjali is slowly warming up to Shyam's real face and truth..

Anjali-Arnav equation: Arnav continues to spin lies to Anjali to keep her happy.. When the final moment comes when Anjali needs to trust Arnav - will she...

Mami's missing footage: Khushi-Payal bonding

Marriage video is out.. Nothing there to help Arhi..

The whole sequence of Mamiji's harshness with Payal and Khushi's family for not giving her footage in the marriage DVD seemed to achieve only one purpose - Bringing back Khushi-Payal's bonding.. And it did happen.. It was nice to see Payal and Khushi play cahoots to make Mamiji happy..

Though it was surprising to see Akash's silence in the entire episode.. Did he want the sisters to bond and hence did he kept quiet.. - I wonder.. (For the precap - Is Arnav going to use Akash's behavior today to keep Khushi at home, tomorrow - I wonder..)

Arnav-Khushi kheer scene: Star crossed

While Arnav is in a hurry to leave, Khushi stops him - how- bumps into him with kheer and spills onto his shirt.. While Arnav is all ready to come loud and give her his piece of mind, he glances and sees that Anjali is watching, and while he waits on how to carry a pretense and do damage control - her restlessness takes over -She blurts - He can't leave without completing their conversation.. She goes on and rants that he has to tell her when she had made him sad.. But before she completes, Arnav wants to do damage control.. So he goes all sweet and charming and surprises her.. He goes on - You have no clue - do you.. She - still thinking about how she made him sad - says yes, - and he finishes off - 'that you look so beautiful when you are angry'.. Khushi realizes immediately that something is off that Arnav is being uber sweet to her.. And she says 'What'.. And Arnav continues his rant, - Tells her she does'nt have to always be angry to prove to him she is beautiful.. ' While she looks absolutely confused at his sudden warmth and sweet talk, he leads off with his 'Come'.. Completely dumbfounded by his behavior, she just follows him as a robot.. He makes her sit.. Khushi immediately switches to reality and is about to say something.. When Arnav again controls her just with his eyes.. (She's so totally affected by him, isn't she - ) With his charm full on - he challenges her to continue.. Khushi stammers a bit.. Still sticking to reality and fighting his charm, she continues - he need to tell her... and Arnav realizing that her mind is still working, stops her from talking by feeding her a mouth full of kheer.. Khushi is completely shocked and surprised by this gesture - soft Rabba ve in the background - the little piece of kheer in her mouth - he loses the pretense for a moment (I wonder..) and she loses herself in the moment as he wipes off the kheer - Arnav is the first one to recover - looking at his sister and continues his pretense.. While she looks at him helplessly asking him to stop it - confused by his warmth, he guides her to feed him - (Rabba ve continues..) Anjali is happy seeing her brother in love with his wife.. while Khushi is absolutely confused - refusing to believe his sweetness and yet not able to react her usual self, completely influenced by his charm.. And his sweetness oozes out - he says - The kheer fed by her is sweeter even though it is'nt sweet - Khushi - did she want to believe him for that moment - (did she go back to the past when he kissed her - when he helped get the eating leaves, the sweet moments - I wonder..) - While Arnav continues to pretend - and Khushi is confused to believe or not - Arnav still wanting to control her from talking - feeds her another spoon - Khushi is slowly falling for it all - when suddenly she chokes - That's the moment ---

Arnav stops all pretense and his true caring comes out for Khushi -the love and care comes out as a knee jerk reaction - the pretense dies - his 'Khushi' said it all - He goes on -Are you ok - and grabs for the water..

And then - while she coughs - Khushi sees Anjali and thinks she finally understood why Arnav behaved that way .. He was pretending in front of Anjali so that Anjali thinks they are happily married.. A bit shocked at Arnav's extent of pretense.. and 'finally' Anjali leaves..

While Arnav continues to get the water and give it to Khushi - his concern and care surfacing - angry that he has affected her so much, angry that he charmed his way through, angry the way she was treated - misunderstanding the real concern from him at this time - she pushes his glass away..

Now Arnav not comprehending her action - as he is caring for her at the moment - completely forgetting that it started off as a pretense -waits for her to utter something - Khushi stunned in disbelief about his pretense and her response comes out devoid of any emotion with regret - says - Anjali has left - Time to call off the pretense act..

While Arnav just gets reminded of how the whole pretense started, looks back to see if Anjali was there - and see that she is'nt - realizing his love has again surfaced and remains silent - while she continues to reaffirm - he did it all for the sake of Anjali right..

His love in his eyes - not wanting to acknowledge that his care that ebbed out, letting her continue her misunderstanding - he shares an eyelock with her and while she waits - a little yearning in her that he probably did'nt do it all for Anjali - he realizes the same moment how all that started as a pretense - ended up with his real feelings surface out - not wanting to admit to her (the hurt from the lost love.. and a yearning for things to have been different)- and while she dares him to admit, the hurt shown in her eyes the fact that he did it all for Anjali - he walks off leaving her hurt and in misunderstanding.. and Khushi contemplates again in confusion - her wanting his care to be real, his love to be real, and the sad truth that it was all a pretense, hurting her.. Oh - how she wants to get an end to all this was all there on her face - as the scene freezes..

Arnav pretends with uber charm- Khushi succumbs - Arnav's real feelings ebb out - She calls it a pretense.. Their star-crossed love journey continues..

Much needed to say - Barun and Sanaya were brilliant today ⭐️ - Aren't they the reason we are hooked on to Arhi..

Just a peek into the past and the full circle:

How she lies to him almost convincingly and wiped off his white mush.. And today - how he lies to her almost convincingly, and wipes off the kheer.. While the former was endearing, the latter is an irony of how sweet their love journey could have been but it isnt..

And with their bond of unsaid love and as they continue to work their trust, their journey continues..

Once again awesome post Shuba!

I think the only scene that did it for me was the kheer scene...Yes, yes, half of it was fake...but at least giving her the water wasn't...😉

Now i just want the show to move on...some hot love😆

I remembered the Nainital scene too when I watched the Kheer scene! two things that come to mind... either the CVs are trying to close the loops... coming a full circle or they are running out of ideas... so recycling! For romance sake, I am going with the first option.😆

Shuba, once again awesome post🤗. Thank you for doing this everyday.

Ok now to the episode, Khushi thinking on the lines whether her engagement with Shyam could have caused his hurt is right way to go,but the Cvs have also made her clueless about ASR knowing terrace incident. I am waiting for that day when she knows that whatever ASR saw was only half of what happened. Anyway CVs were moving slowly there so far, now that Abhas is back may be Shyam will be involved more in bringing the truth out at least to Khushi sooner.

As for kitchen, Shyam slipping, is bound to happen now that Khushi lives in the same house. As you said this is the beginning and ASR saved him big time, of course he did it for his sister, but at times I want the Cvs to create a situation where in Shyam also tastes the bitter medicine that ASR and Khushi are tasting. Why is it always necessary to save him, if sometimes RM women especially Maami and Anjali are suspecting something about Shyam let that be that way so when the truth comes out they will put 2 and 2 together instead of making Khushi face all the problems and ASR torn between Khushi and ANjali.

Just as I said previously I like Manorama Bond than Manoram saas. Did not enjoy her drama at all. As for Akash not supporting Payal for the sisters bond to develop, I don't think so. When he promised Babuji that Khushi will be accepted by his family, he never mentioned anything about Payal. I think first he needs to work on his marriage, try to be supportive to Payal and say a thing or two to his Mom rather than standing there as a spineless coward.

Again kitchen scene, Payal and Khushi's tension has been eased in a matter of few mins, I don't know how that happened. Payal did not have any comforting words to say to Khuhsi when Garima hung up the phone but when it came to her problem, its ok to talk to Khushi, because she knows Khushi will find a way to solve her problems.How selfish can she be? So now the gas stove is not switched off, if the Kheer gets burnt so that means she will again blame Khushi tomorrow for her misery.

The final scene was worth watching even if its fake PDA(, I am not saying fake love here because he is definitely not faking love) because of Barun and Sanaya.👏. In the water scene you could genuinely see his love but Khushi misunderstood him. Its ok, he started it and she called his bluff. I also liked how she questioned him and he did not have an answer and walked away. He will be able to keep this drama going for very long, soon his true love, affection and PDA's are going to surface.

As for the precap, the takrar promo that was out last week, we are getting to see it tomorrow, I again like how Khushi gave it back to him but you could also see how proud he was of her. He knows for sure that this is the woman who is going to take him for a task for the rest of his life. But as usual if the Kheer gets burnt and Maami starts her drama, Khushi will not leave as Payal will not be able to handle it all alone, neither will Akash support her. But the Cvs might surprise us by making Akash talk back to his mom, we have to wait for the episode to air.

That's it for my rant even though the episode was an average one, but there were some subtle things that are helping to propel the story forward.

Nice post Shubha,

The show is slowly getting back on track but it's still too slow and I am not liking anything besides Arhi scenes.

Sarun were amazing as usual but I am not liking the fake romance that much. Hope fully things will change from tomorrow. Why does Anjali have so much interest in watching his bhai-bhabi's romance ?

I have no interest in watching kitchen politics and saas bahu drama. Looks like the Raizada's have fired HP after the entry of Payal and extra bahurani.

Why is mami still allowed to call them KBT and Phatti sari? Nani and Anjali don't seem to have any problems with it.

Is it a parampara of the Raizada family to call the bahus by such disgusting nick names?

My dislike for Payaliya keeps increasing with every episode. All she cares about is her image in front of her in-laws. Payal is only trying to make herself look good in comparison to Khushi. She is nothing but an opportunist.

Unless Payal does something really big for Khushi, I am not going to change my opinion about her.

I hope DM doesn't give a hubby like Akash to any girl. He is completely useless.

I couldn't help but notice Shyam's new look. Is he trying to look ruggedly handsome? 😕

Sorry for ranting. I am not very pleased with the show right now. I am being very patient only because of my love for Sarun.

Wonderful post, once again, Subha!😳

Todays episode was alright, didnt doo too much to fill up the excitement that I had all weekend. I was expecting more than just one scene of ArHi, or atleast some progress in Khushi's thoughts. But it seems like the Cv's are taking this slowly, which is a bit off for me. Oh well, I'll let them to unfold this tale of these star-crossed lovers at their own pace...

I dont want to dwell too much into the kitchen politics, Mamiji-Payalia's diet-kheer issues...because we all know they are just fillers. Im sure tomorrow will be a dhamaka for Mami and more tears from Payalia, with the stove still left on...

and yes I also think that these fillers are a catalyst to bring Khushi and Payal together...

The only scene that I enjoyed today was undoubtedly, the last Kheer one...though it was fake, and down out of pretence, you could still see them both fighting...though Arnav initiated the scene to show his Di, but he couldnt help but resurface the love he has for Khushi...one cough, and he was all up getting water...thats the power of his love, Arnav Singh Raizada's love...and as for Khushi, I like how she is still questiong (Atta girl, dont give up!!)...but the ankon-ankon mein ishare from Arnav is something no one can escape...I loved the little eye sequence...and her fumbling...oh she is affected, for sure. When Khushi noticed Anjali, she told him off..and the little eye lock that followed thereafter, you could see both of them fighting...while she hoped that he didnt do all of this out of pretence...and he realized his fumble of caring for Khushi again...surely a star-crossed lovestory :)

and last but not the least, Barun and Sanaya. They are the soul of this show, and they make it all the more worthy to watch...such passionate chemistry between the two...and their comfort as friends offscreen really helps their onscreen scene.

and and BISS.😳 The second he walks into the frame, he grabs all the attention, and you could see this in the beginning scene and also when he walked down the stairs in the end.

@Suha: Thanks.. 😳 CVs for the last couple of episodes are going back to the Dhabha scene..

Lots of scenes resemble that..

How Arnav searches her in the market thinking that it would be the kind of place she likes to be in, but in the Dhabha leaves her saying that the place fits her but not him, and walks off..

How he tells her in the Dhaba, that he hates the fact that everyone thinks they are married and how in the mandir - he declares that she is his wife..

As you said, the CVs are recycling or closing loops.. And I am with you in the romantic take.. 🤗

SHUBHA!!! Firstly, hats off to you for continuing to do this every day ---- even after such a lukewarm episode!!

That possibly is the only reason why we tune in everyday despite the inconsistencies, the cliched non-twists and turns, the melodrama (or manodrama) and the endless tears and constipated looks!!

You bring up a good point. Despite his good intentions, this might backfire on him when the time comes ---- much like what Khushi is going through right now. Only time will tell!!
