I kind of did not like Khushi's reaction on seeing Arnav...I mean she was kicked out of her parents' house, which should have been devastating...and frankly, she should have been angry and upset, thinking again that this is all Arnav's fault. So on seeing him, why did she behave like she was a kid who stole money and ran away from home and got caught?!!!

Sathu...beautiful analysis and interpretation. I loved how you explained that Khushi came to the temple because DM is her true mother and the temple is her true maika...and hence it was like the pag phere rasam for her...and Arnav coming inside the temple...that is the second part of the rasam - the husband coming to the maika to pick his wife up.

Today I liked the episode, because I forwarded the Gupta House scenes.

Just watched Arhi scenes and later the neighbors blessing and Happyji wishing Khushi.

Am in a good mood today.

I loved each and every word of your post. I can't even bold out any text...since all of it makes perfect sense to me!

I was pretty upset with the family's reaction...but I have come to accept their stance on this whole issue now. Won't talk about them any further...the only thing I felt was I wish they hadn't mentioned over and over that she was adopted...that was a low blow and I guess that has always been something that Khushi has always felt subconsciously and she is not able to forget that she is not one of them...because she never shares her problems or fears with them...she always turns to DM.

I loved the rice analogy...during bidai the bride throwing rice and leaving her maika behind...Khushi did that leaving behind those gifts and closing the door and leaving.

I too did not feel she severed her ties with them...she never can and never will. It is just that for now she has turned towards her new home...her husband and new relations.

Also, the door closing...both Arnav and Khushi closing the doors to their respective loved ones..temporarily alienating themselves from their families, but to be with each other, to protect those very families (Anjali and Payal...)

The bandagement scene was fantastic and very symbolic...had loved it back then. I believe a lot in symbolism, signs and God...so I like such scenes.

Arnav having to walk and look for her...then coming to the temple and having to enter during the aarti...all of it like DM's conspiracy to bring him back to where he started it...the marriage to Khushi.

Pag pheras completed...

Doods...you and Sathu make me feel like I am a moodh agyani ...when I watch the episode, there are so many things I do not grasp and after I read your posts, I think...OH Yes! That's what it meant 😆

The anger would have been there had she not blown her gasket at DM.

As for running away...She was supposed to be at Guptas, bantering with parents .. but she was thrown out and does she head back to RM, Does she even inform Arnav..No !! .. She knows that he knows what happened else he would not have come to the temple in search of her ... She also knows that he would be pissed off at her procrastination and her not telling him...Since she is not suicidal..she will not stand complacently as the raging Bull comes to rip her apart.. Khushi does what she always did,,,RUNN !!
