Episode wise..Arm chair sight seeing coupled with opening of a new path ..Quite a engrossing one too...

A hesitant Khushi walks towards the house of her childhood , irresolute...steps shilly shallying ..aware that she might not be welcomed ..Buaji's Amma's words echoing in her head ...Khushi stands outside on the road, the fence separating her from the adopted family when she is waylaid by busybodies , who enquire about her marital status in the sweetest voice imaginable..unwilling to elaborate , Khushi makes her excuses when another friendly voice hails her , this time genuine in its warmth and concern !! Happyji wishes her which is accepted humbly and gratefully by Khushi ...Perhaps the first warm voice she has heard in a long time ... Gathering her nerves, Khushi knocks on the door , which is opened by Garim whose face wreathes itself into smile until recollection cloud in wiping out that smile of welcome, Khushi sees the change and is tormented herself but nevertheless gets inside when Garima stands aside to let Khushi in more to avert the prying eyes than in welcome..Khushi enters , sees her Bauji who is plainly delighted to see her... before Khushi can take another step, like a marauding Bull, Buaji steps out from the kitchen , begins her taunts ..Khushi will not take it lying down today... She tries to placate the frayed nerves , calm the raging fires , soothe the hurt hearts but to no avail ..Her gifts are rejected and so is she...Khushi is ordered to call up her husband n leave ..A impetuous Khushi pretends to dial up her husband, tells him to pick her up from the temple and leaves , shutting the door herself..cutting herself from the bitterness, family ...

I liked this segment for various reasons, one, it showed the way of life of Gupta's.. It is true in many a household ... the neighbors and their thinking is given more importance than their own daughter's welfare ...The Cv's portrayed this accurately when Garima called Khushi in , shut the door fast lest anyone sees the tainted daughter returning and when Buaji just rattles on about what neighbours said...

Two.Khushi was and is an outsider, it was shown when each and every step of hers is dragged instead of hurrying towards the house.. her palpable timidity when she stands outside the fenced house ,cutting her off from her shelter ..Khushi mock complaining to her father that her Buaji was always biased right from childhood indicated that she is painfully conscious of this fact ..but if this people saw her as an outsider then there was one soul to whom she was his daughter and that was Bauji ... When a tearful, lonely Khushi asks Bauji whether he misses her...his tears are the mute testimony attesting the fact that he does miss her, His love and affection has not wavered , Khushi still is as much his daughter as she was before marriage !!

I liked the use of FB's..quite a intelligent use of it..Had they shown Arnav glaring at Garima after the slap..I am sure half of the viewer's would have been happy but the CV's did not..Reason, Bec Khushi had not seen his glare !!..Since the FB was from Khushi's recollection , they could not show that... good presence of mind to cut it ...Another instance which attracted me was the placement of Garima and Buaji..Both parallel , in straight line suggesting that they are in sync with their opinions for now but may differ later on ...Third was the closure of the Door by Khushi .. She has closed the door which is full of bitterness now, Khushi will reopen it when things settle down, when love blooms again ...She has accepted that this road is now closed temporarily and that she has to forge a new path , She cannot cling on to the past but fork a new future ...she will do it too !!

A simple I was forced to do this bec Arnavji threatened me would have acquitted Khushi from her accusers but No , she chooses not to betray her husband to any one despite many provocations, She wraps the cloak of silence and puts up with the taunts, humiliations ...even when Buaji tells her to call up her husband, she does not let him down but pretends that everything is hunky dory between them by pretending to call up Arnav , bangs the phone and leaves... Payal too must be appreciated for diverting the growing anger of her family by recalling them to the present with that clever and timely insert of Akash is coming !!

"I'm not supposed to love you, I'm not supposed to care, I'm not supposed to live my life wishing you were there. I'm not supposed to wonder where you are or what you do...I'm sorry I can't help myself, I'm in love with you."

While at Raizada mansions, the Rayiz zada is busy with his computer but his restless mind is unable to focus itself on the business, in frustration he bangs his laptop down...As if on cue , the phone rings , Payal on the other end anxiously enquires about Khushi, solicitously asks whether they reached home safely ,narrates the ordeal to Arnav ...who immediately springs to action ..

I loved the quaint touch of the CV's here..Payal is holding on to the stars that mean so much to Khushi, her hands gently caressing them , suggesting that as for as Payal is concerned she is back to being Khushi's sister and doesn't give a damn about nosy neighbors !!...BS was bang on with his reactions ..His instant wary alertness as soon as he realizes that Payal has called him , exasperation when Payal tells him that she has been trying Khushi's phone... eyes begin to search for Khushi when Payal gives the timeline, turning to puzzled confusion when Payal enquires whether BOTH reached home safely , getting concerned when he hears that Khushi was sad when she left, puzzlement abating slightly as Payal reveals that Khushi called him, jaws clenching in muted anger when he understands that Amma and Buaji scolded Khushi, anxiety when he hears Buaji's voice, wanting to know the whereabouts but getting cut off.. beautiful acting !!

A Unsettled Arnav lies smoothly to his sister and leaves on his mission to find Khushi ..Arnav after incessantly trying to call Khushi with none of his calls connecting ..gets down from his high horse and seeks her out by foot !! ..Arnav wanders thru the likely place , His first halt by the bangle vendor since she knows her weakness for bangles ..His face softening a moment as pleasant memories glide in , he walks to the vendor , provides the data , hope flies high as the vendor recognizes his description only for it to come crashing when the vendor replies in negative ..He next goes to a channa vendor , questions him giving a complete description of Khushi [ for a Guy who hates her, he has given her a thorough look ] ..The vendor affirms that Khushi brought channa and left in a certain direction , muttering to himself Arnav sets off on his chase , His eyes darting everywhere , trying to see through every nook and corner ..His mind and heart in tandem calling out for Khushi Kumari Gupta !! ...Where is Khushi Kumari Gupta BTW ??

A slightly discordant note , when Arnav has made the marriage valid for 6 months, calls her his wife ..why KKG, shud not it be KSR ..or is it to imply that to Arnav she is still KKG..then yippeee !!

This scene was oddly reminiscent of the ambulance version ..only emotionally scaled down a bit ...A segment which also showed the the understanding that Arnav has of Khushi ...He knows her yet he does not know her ...He understands her yet he does not understand that he understands her and goes by what he sees !!

While her husband is haring thru the wide , scenic roads of Delhi obviously searching for her in mounting disquiet, Khushi is found in her home, having differences with her mother DM , quietly sulking in a corner ..but her sulks can't last ..She states unequivocally to her Devimayya that she will not utter one word to her , but like a lil child proceeds to spill all the beans to her Mother ...after letting it all out, A lightened Khushi decides to leave but her mother will not have it, she sets up the aarati time preventing Khushi from leaving by tolling the bell..the sound heard by Arnav who intuitively knows without a shadow of doubt that Khushi will be found at DM's residence ...At the Mandir..Khushi is still feeling aggrieved...even though she wants to pray, she puts up a tantrum and pretends to leave but DM will not brook any disobedience today..she tolls the bell again, stopping Khushi from leaving ..Khushi frantically reiterates that she is leaving but her legs have a mind of their own and refuse to move ..whilst at the gates her husband has come to fetch her ...The arati begins ..Khushi's hands fold themselves paying obeisance to Goddess.. on the ground her phone lies unattended ...Arnav calls her up , DM does her trick and thru one of her devotees kick it into operation..Arnav yells into the phone , hears the bells quickly realizes the tolling bell, the prayer sounds is located nearby, spots it ..cuts the phone as he sighs in relief as he has finally found Khushi's true Maika.. Khushi turns to leave again..her attempts prove ineffectual AGAIN as she spots Arnav Singh Raizada at the door ..panic stricken, completely sure that she will be hauled over the coal fires for staying over at the temple when she actually was supposed to be at home ..Khushi again rushes back to the bosom of her Mother ... A supremely annoyed Arnav strides the steps of the temple, comes to sanctum to get his bride back home...Only problem..Bride has gone hiding and it is going to be a game of hide and seek..

Needless to say I loved this scene very much . ..As soon as the door is shut..Khushi makes a beeline to the temple, her true maika for she knows that DM is one mother who will never reject her , who accepts her unconditionally Khushi is Like a child needing the warm lap of her mother to lay down and forget her worries,DM is that Mother ...

So why of all days does Khushi choose to go to Temple today... bec of the Pag pheras... isn't it the day..The daughter comes to her Maikka, shares her anxiety, happiness worries, fears with her Mom ..and to all intents and purpose DM's temple is her Maikka and Khushi too shares her worries with DM ...Pag Phere is the first official visit of the daughter after she becomes the wife of someone and she must be collected by her husband at the end of it..when Khushi decides to leave on her own ..she is stopped on both the occasions by Devi Mayya as Devi Mayya is awaiting the arrival of her Son [in law] ..it is only after he sees her is Khushi allowed to leave ...And what about Arnav ..is he allowed to collect DM's daughter from the door step without any respect...NO, Madame's..Arnav must come to her home and bear her away with due respect and honor..So Arnav comes !!

This scene again reminded me of another moment not so long ago ...On that day too he was in white, on that day too his heart was as pure as is today..on that day he had lost someone close to him ..but on that day he had Khushi to guide him and Khushi Guided Arnav Singh Raizada to his anchor Anjali ... He went all the way to the temple but he never entered it bec the time had not come...Today... He again has lost someone who is his world .. He is searching for her his Khushi .. He has no Khushi this time to point him in the right direction but he does have someone close to them both ..Devimayya !! .. Devimayya Guides him to the place where Khushi is ... He gets down , walks towards Devimayya's wide open doors ...This time his path does not stop at the steps... This time Arnav is made to enter the temple , participate in the pooja .Arnav by being there in front of the DM has been accepted into DM's fold...All in pursuit of Happiness aka Khushi ...Khushi it is who is awakening his consciousness, his morals, his finer feelings . Khushi it will be who will set him on the road to redemption !!

Tant, A-Mazing. I loved the whole seq of explanations; the best was of Arnav's unknown inner feelings and Khushi's real Maayka. Indeed. While reading the part you explained of Bauji ' Khushi relationship, my eyes dampened. Let me tell my daily chant upon receiving my daily manna, it's TANTASTIC. 👏 👏 👏

I loved the episode for a change. I loved the first part of the episode but to an extent I view it differently than you here and even the temple scene on why Khushi went to the temple. I will explain as I go on but surely I will not touch the parts you talked but only the portion you left and some portion that felt important.

"If the family were a fruit, it would be an orange, a circle of sections, held together but separable - each segment distinct" ~ Letty Cottin Pogrebin

It's been said that we don't choose our families but it is God's gift to us as we are to them. The best part of today's episode was when Khushi entered her home, her place of growing up, her place of one of the most memorable phases of life, some good and some bad. When she was 8 years old she became an orphan, then, this is the family, who accepted her and made her a part of them. Every year, each season this family had been taking care of her since. This family had fulfilled all her dreams and at the same time this is the family that made her a much better HUMAN BEING that she is today. This family had imbibed all their values, virtues in her. They are the reason why her thought process is GENUINE; they are the reason why she sacrificed her biggest dream for her sister. I was actually waiting for today to describe and defend the Gupta family in this testing time. We need to understand we are a part of a family but this family is part of a society. If family is haven in a heartless world then the society shows you the crude picture of that heartless world. I know, society doesn't make us rather we make them but we need to remember that families get their character certificate from this society. We might be correct in what we do but it's the family that needs to face the society as a whole. Like I said above, each segment is distinct yet when each segment is put together then it's a whole object just like a pie chart. Yes, because of one person's decision the entire Gupta family has to face the world and more bitter it becomes when the family doesn't know the reason of their misery the same way Khushi doesn't know the reason of her misery. What will she say??? Even if she opens her mouth about Arnav's condition then what will be her justification on the "Condition"??? Who will believe her? Sometimes it seems trust is fragile, yeah, but at the same time some things need proof even with the blood relations. Buaji, Amma, Payal, Bauji have every reason to be angry with her and mark my words these will be the same people who will be with her when the reason will be out. Then these will be the people who will support her and accuse her of not including THEM in this turmoil. That is FAMILY. Then you all might say why Bauji understands, Payal too has softened but Buaji and Amma are still angry and not understanding her that there might be some big reason behind her sudden step. They have brought her up and they know her better. But as said above, family is like an orange and each segment is distinct. Each person in family has their own distinct way of facing and solving a situation. The difference is their distinct perspectives. The way Bauji and Payal are analyzing is different to the way Buaji and Amma are analyzing. No one here seeks her worse but their dealing of trouble is not soothing. It's like they say, fingers are like children and each one is different but they are together in the palm.

As you all know I always defend Buaji, you know why??? Because her temperament is exactly like my Mom's. Yes, my Mom is one strict ideological Woman not like regular women, not sweet talker like Anjali and Naani going with all "Ji" and "Bitiya", never ready to forgive like Naani and Payal and Anjali unless she thinks it's logically explanatory, she is the SOLE REASON I always think logical and practical. Believe me I have seen days, when we battle each other, my Mom won't even talk to me for months. Even now. It is very very hard to make her understand. We both are independent and distinctive thinkers and that's why it's always a "Clash of Titans" between us but believe me when I say I am her confidante and I, only I, know her deepest of secrets. That's my Mom. If I would have done something like Khushi, she would have abandoned me then and there and done my funeral even though I am her own blood. That's my MOM. She doesn't care of nosy neighbours like Buaji but she follows certain principles and if I go against it, I am SO DEAD.

Hence, I relate to Buaji's character. I agree with her behavior. I am telling you her approach is not good, I agree, but she doesn't wish worse for her.I know the moment she comes to know the truth, forget about Shyaam, the mighty Mr. Arnav Singh Raizada is so DEAD. The first thing she'll say- "Arnav Bitwa, main marr gayi thi kya"???

I loved the difference between Payal and Anjali in today's episode. When I was watching the episode the only thing that disturbed me was Anjali's need in the episode for a min or so. I mean why it was placed??? Actually if you watch there's no need of her at all. To just have a logical conversation or it had a deeper meaning??? Naaa, it was more than that. The only logical explanation I can give is when Khushi-Arnav showdown will happen then Arnav might call Anjali to stop Aakash from coming to Guptas as he will pick Payal; just to scare Khushi and win the challenge. Otherwise, I cannot figure out the reason for Anjali-Arnav scene. The entire scene was beautiful like Tant mentioned Payal touching the stars, and Arnav 'Payal convo. It depicted the future track. From my POV, it's Payal who will be instrumental in showing the path to Arnav and Khushi; it will be Payal's guidance and subtle support as me and Tant always explained, that will be contributory in untying the knots and problems, showing the path ahead. Then, we have seen Arnav, I believe, for the first time firmly denied Anjali's suggestion. I felt while Payal will bring them closer Anjali will try to interfere, knowingly or unknowingly I don't know and Arnav will refuse to listen. But this is going to happen. When the truth will be out, it will be ONLY Arnav who will support Khushi and it will be Payal who will help them the path ahead. Fantastic scene t was and very meaningful relationship between Arnav and Payal. Loved loved loved it. It's going to prove sometimes it's the emotional relationships that rise above the blood relations. Like Mahatma Gandhi said, "You must not lose faith in humanity. Humanity is an ocean; if a few drops of the ocean are dirty, the ocean does not become dirty".

Marriage verses in Holy Books :- "The husband sacrifices, the wife submits. The husband is the head, and the wife is the body---joined into one flesh. The wife respects, and the husband loves".

Another loop perfectly closed is the "Door" Scene.I admire the CVs for this. That day it was Arnav who sacrificed his happiness for his family, his Di's sake and closed the door of Raizada Mansion. He out of his home for he is groom and he needs to get his bride from her "maayka", the Temple. They went to the temple and got married and the bride and groom came home. But her earthly bidaai was yet not done. Today we see Khushi by closing the doors of her family submitted herself to succeed the mission of her husband; I don't think she had cut off the ties here with her family but yeah for a time being she joined hands with her husband on his mission. This also indicates their beginning of a new life. There journey of together from today. I loved the fantastic touch of the creative team here. Arnav dropped her in the middle of the road and not at the Gupta house. Khushi went to her earthly chosen maayka her "Foster Family" and took the blessing from Bauji, the head of the family and then she left the house closing the doors of her foster family and walked towards her new life. She left the gifts willingly as a token of appreciation for taking care of her all these years. Technically, when bidaai happens we throw the rice on Mom's laps as a token of appreciation or as it is called "udhaar chukana" for the daughter goes to her real family, her husband's home. Her "Worldly Bidaai" is done and now her metaphorical "Pag Phere Ritual" is yet to happen.

It was that day when the two souls were about to be joined metaphorically. I loved that "Temple Engagement" scene. It was one FLAWLESS episode in every angle. The chosen timing of the engagement that day was pretty auspicious. It's been believed in bengali culture since ages that the best time ("Muharat") is always the evening just when the sun sets and moon rises. It's called "Godhuli Lagna" and 6pm at that time of the year was perfect. It was auspicious and more over it is witnessed by Khushi's DM. In her presence, Arnav and Khushi got engaged in the most ethereal and holy way. In this scene when they got engaged Khushi took the prasad of God which is a blessing from God on her engagement but ASR refused it. This means Khushi will always have Arnav's love but Arnav will have to earn/win it. He'll have love that day when he'll respect God and HER blessings and he'll repent for his deeds and seek his love. All the dialogues by Khushi abt he realizing one day that what all he did was because God wanted him to do it and that day she won't be around. That is true. She might be around but that day she will be so far away that he even won't have his tears to support him. I guess that day he'll realize that Khushi was also a victim of Shyam like his Di and not a culprit. He literally will have to work very hard to win her back for Arnav had no clue on what he is doing is an order from heaven above.

Today is the day when the wedding rituals which began that day is FINALLY COMPLETED. Khushi had her worldly bidaai and now she had headed to her "Original" Maayka, yes the temple of her only confidante, the place where she is treated like her own daughter, the holy place where she can throw all sorts of tantrums like a child does fearlessly, the "Mandir". As I said Tant, I don't think Khushi chose that. Going there is her prerogative. She will do it even in the most unconscious state of mind. She would have started to walk and unknowingly her feet will automatically stop at the Temple, at her DM's home, at her home for she is DM's child. DM is her birth right as I always mentioned. She had to go there for she needs to complete her last metaphoric wedding ritual to start a new life with Arnav. I loved her chagrin with her DM, the little jibber jabber, everything. I won't go into details as Tant had already described. The only thing is this, the Temple where she started her committed relationship and this is the same temple where she completed her metaphorical wedding ritual. The fact is how can her honor and integrity be tainted in the holy manner for when she is God's child. It cannot. Today also Arnav is just a mere puppet of DM. Hardly he knows that God has a harsh way of getting things done for God never ever leaves the sides of her devotees. Loop closed indeed.

That day they walked in parallel and went to their respective homes and today whether they return together doesn't matter for he came to take her and they have the same destination that matters.

Another thing I loved is Arnav had to stop the car in the middle of the road and walk in search of Khushi and then he had taken the car to go to the temple but when the time of repentance comes he has to walk to the temple as I have always said. I am happy that we are a step ahead in the loop that opened yesterday as I mentioned he had to pick up all the pieces one by one from the road.

@Satya,
Beautiful buddy.Loved it so much. I really feel LM should read you synopsis daily. It will be his status report. That may lead to him avoiding blooper in future 👏.
You know I always felt why Khushi tries to please everyone. I thought its because she is an orphan. Today I could nail it. She is so scared of being an orphan and a life without love and support, she wantsvto be in everyone's good books Always at the cost of her happiness. She will go to any extent for that matter. She is awfully scared to be lonely. But poor girl the irony is because of that every trait she is all alone today. Thanks DM for Payal. She has one support system.
CVs granted my wish. I wanted her to see the love in her babuji's eyes. I wanted her to know that she is not an orphan and someone really does care for her. She got the much needed proof. That will keep her going. Now its clear that Payal is the one who will ease out the tension between drifted lovers. We have seen her protective instinct when it comes to Khushi. I so wish that Payal gets to witness creeps obsession and his threats to Khushi first hand. Then things will be clear to her and I am sure she will take the matter to Arnav. This is the only path I feel Arnav will get to know about Khushi's innocence.
